It took 30 minutes for somebody to unlock the game cabinet, and I don't have that type of time, I had to be at my grandmas by 7:00 pm. So I was extremely late to her house, the service was complete ***. Thanks for trying tho (jk)

Not everyone revolves around your schedule. Maybe plan accordingly and don't do last minute shopping.

Employee Review: Poor management communication/ treatment depends on store. Overnight produce (Current Employee), Florida – February 19, 2017 Pros: Its work. Cons: Management, in most cases, is terrible. I have worked many a walmart store in 9 years. Moved around alot. I've worked all the fresh areas. In one store I found a job I loved. Produce. Overnight was even better. I came in, did my job, and went home. NP. As high paced as it is, I took pride in my department and how I presented it every day. I cleaned the drains, shelving, culled, zoned, pulled dates, pulled the truck from back room to produce cooler... I even begain trainung to be a produce lead; ordering, doing the morning counts, training new associates... However, as I moved on to other stores, I realised this was not going to be the case everywhere. Management is all about money. They are about getting the jobs done that cover their own butts, not yours. Overnight is worse. You are easy to blame since you are not there during the day to defend yourself. And every manager is different. They all want things done different ways and NONE of them communicate with one another. They will pile on more and more work until you can't get it all done or kill your self doing it all. Heaven help you if you forget something or misunderstand something they want you to do. You will be used in other departments and be used as a puzzle peice for their benefit. Oh, and very few of them know what your job really is. What it is you really do or how much time it actually takes to do it. I'm a hard worker and I loved my job. I had to move, again. Now, though I love my job and know what I am capable of, I hate where I work. But work is hard to find where I have moved and I'm now stuck working for this company. All in all, it depends on what store you are in. There are gems out there. Ones that stick to the books, listen to their employees, and are true leaders. But they are few. Most will take advantage of you

Walmart - Refund on chair

Walmart.com touts that you can order from it on-line and return the item to a local store. is a misrepresentation. I recently ordered a recliner from Walmart.com. There was no warning that this chair could not be returned locally. However after the chair, which was damaged, dangerous and generally poor quality, arrived I was notified that I would have to return it to another company which was really the seller, and pay shipping charges and a 30% restocking fee. This means I would have to swallow about 40% of the cost. Walmart should clearly have posted a warning at the time of order that it could not be returned locally and the high costs would be incurred to return it. After numerous calls Walmart refuses to refund my purchase. I believe this conduct is unworthy of the Walmart name, and consumers should be aware of it.

Walmart - Stay far away!

The WORST shopping experience I have ever had. I had an electronic item burn out. I knew it might be hard to find, so I went online. According to Walmart's website the store had several versions of this item in stock at the Lindon store. I don't usually shop there, but it is close to my house so what the heck. I went through the entire electronics section and couldn't find the item, no sales associates were at the counter. I asked several workers in the general area and was told "I don't know. Ask someone in electronics." Not even an offer to page someone who knew. I finally found someone, he was polite and dealt pretty well with the angry woman he was dealing with, but he'd never heard of the item I was looking for and kept showing me the wrong thing. Granted it's not used much any more, but still. He finally said he would need to ask his manager. I was ok with that, but over 20 minutes later there was no sign of him or a manager. I couldn't even call their help desk to have them send someone because I couldn't get cel service in the store. Finally an assistant manager showed up in response to a page, I wasn't the only person needing service, and looked up the item I was trying to find. He figured out what it should be stocked next to, but didn't know where that would be. By that time I knew the neighboring item. We finally found one similar item, stuck behind something else on a disorganized display, however it was twice the price as the ones listed online. He finally looked up the item and found that all three versions the website said were in stock were not. I was not willing to pay that price after all the hassle. I was told the only way to voice my complaints was to fill out an online survey. I left only to find that the exit doors near my car were now locked. No notices or signs, just a locked door. Apparently they lock the main doors at night to "prevent theft." When I got home I got online to complete the survey with my complaints. Do do that you have to make a purchase! Seriously? Never, ever go to this store!
