I spent 3 hours in walmart picking items for my family for Christmas and went to put them on layaway til December 3rd only to be told I could only put electronics...large furniture...etc on layaway. That was sure news to me. They don't bother telling you that on their website or on TV or anywhere til you get to layaway and THATS where they tell you. I guess that's how they trap people into spending large amounts because who wants to have wasted 3 flipping hours in Walmart there just to leave empty handed because most of your items didn't qualify for their *** layaway? They can have walmart...I will never shop there again.

I recently purchased some rain boots on walmart.com. They were too small. I looked online and the policy said that items under 25.00 could be returned as cash since it was purchased with my husbands debit card I didnt have it with me. The *** in the store including the assistant manager said that they could only refund it as store credit. Yes that is what I want to do spend my money at your *** managed store. I am done shopping on walmart.com. Amazon it is. Walmart needs to train their people on policy and teach them what customer service means. The store at Eastport village has the most disrespectful management and the employees act like they are entitled to treat the customers any way they want. I'll be shopping at Freddies

Walmart in La Marque, Texas - Disability Awareness Training

Greetings, I am writing this e-mail in hopes that I will be able to help. While visiting a local Walmart store in my community I ran across an incident that needless to say was not the first time. A young child who is diagnosed with a disability was creating a scene in the store. The child was with his grandmother who was desperately seeking support. I stood back to watch to see how the incident will evolve. (My intent once again is not to get any one in trouble or to criticize the lack of training amongst staff members.) The child (probably 6 years old) was yanking on the grandmothers purse, yelling, crying and swinging at the grandmother. I circled several times and heard the comments of store employees…(not nice ) and other patrons once again (not nice ). One store employee said that she had had enough and intervened….The employee placed her hands on the child..I could not watch any longer…I asked the grandmother if she needed assistance and she said yes….I excused my touch and asked her to calmly begin to walk close to me and ignore the behavior…at this time others had arrived including the security guard…The child continue to swing and was told by store employees "Kid, if you touch me I will punch you!" I introduced myself and asked that the employee not touch the child and that clearly this is a child with a disability….the employees all gathered loudly berating the grandmother and how it is truly a lack of parenting…(in different tones) The incident continued but the child began to de-escalate after a call to the father. The point of this e mail is that in times like this and with all of the disabilities that are in our communities…the employees of such a large corporation like Walmart should have something in place to welcome families of children with disabilities. I have been a special education teacher for 23 years, I am currently finishing up my Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with an Emphasis on Behavior. I can provide the training that they need! I am just a mom and a teacher but I will offer my services and want to help educate the staff of Walmart. Procedures should be in place with a core team that is trained in handling these incidents…no one should have to go through this….how can I assist? Walmart - Light Bulb Review from Llano Grande, Texas

While I won't go into all of the complaints that I have/had with Walmart, I have this particular irritation. I went into our local store to purchase a green light bulb. Since this green light is being promoted by Walmart, I assumed there would be a large display of bulbs to purchase. Imagine my dismay and grudging acceptance, when there were none. Pink, red, blue.....no green that Walmart supports. I was told by a very polite young man that they were out. But since they sold the last 2 two days before, the bulbs should be delivered to the store in a week or so. I thanked him and heard him telling another associate that "People are wanting green light bulbs for some reason." Neither one had a clue of the national "support of veterans" backed by Walmart. Only an example of why Walmart gets the bad rap they do.

Walmart Gift Card Exchange

Complete SCAM! I sent CardCash, who is affiliated with Walmart, a $100 gift card. Today I get an email that states there is no money on the gift card I sent. LIE! I even attached the receipt for the purchase of the Gift Card. This place is a complete scam. Do not use this service! I should have donated the gift card. I even wasted the money to have the gift card sent priority and with tracking. Really? I have to enter 100 words to post this, pretty ridiculous, lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame lame!

I never liked Walmart, they treat there people poorly, and Customers even worse! Please read this warning!

Although, Walmart is one of the last stores I would go to, I happen to catch a sales paper for some products I use. I had $9.00 in coupons and with the sales I decided to go. This is a big deal for me to go out due to many health issues but it was worth it for me. I am on a tight budget and every dime counts. I went to check out, handed the kid at the check out my coupons. I paid and left the store. The next day I went to get the items I bought and looked at the reciept, the kid never took the coupons off! I called the store and the girl told me to come in and see the store manager. Because, i could not make another trip to Walmart because its not close to my home my boyfriend went. Mind you this was only the next day. The manager said more or less too bad. So, Walmart cashes in my $9.00 coupons and I get nothing! My boyfriend returned the items which I needed and even in doing that Walmart got there items back plus the $9.00! Please before you leave this rip off store make sure to look over you reciept! This happen to me, and it could happen to you! Walmart dosent care about the people who go into the store just about how much they can make!

Walmart offers the worst customer service of any store I've dealt with. Placed an order online that was not delivered when it was supposed to be then Walmart cancled the order. Now the store refuses to honor the price I had gotten. Customer service has been extremely rude and difficult to work with, including supervisors.

Pick up at store is a sham! I have had the worst experience with both walmart.com and my local walmart store I made a purchase with a gift card, I didn't receive an email telling me that my order was being processed so after waiting 7 hours I go into the store and my order disappears they have no info on my purchase so the customer service manager calls walmart.com and they have nothing on my order but they took the money off of my gift card! So I'm told to wait 24 hours so the next day I received an email that I just made the transaction and it is being processed, not 3 minutes later I get an email that it could not be processed because of my payment? I made at least a dozen calls to walmart.com and my store ( not forgetting to mention I was hung up on by 2 people at walmart.com) only to find out that the tablet I purchased wasn't at the store at all, long story a little shorter, I cancel my order but they kept the money from my gift card! I was told to wait 5 business days for a refund to the card! If anyone considers buying from Wal-Mart.com please think twice before choosing same day pick up.
