Items showing in stock, and ordering on-line to pick up 2 days later, should NOT have a WEEK LATER for delivery ONCE YOU PLACE THE ORDER.
Walmart assumes everyone has time to WASTE, but I DON'T. My time is VALUABLE, IT'S FOR SALE, JUST LIKE THE ITEMS WALMART SELLS.
Monday, Dec 2, I was Walmart shopping so I passed through the women's sock dept and found Hane's women's crew socks 10 pack so I purchased them. The clerk in the women's dept said I should be able to cancel the order with no problems.
Wrong! I tried several times to cancel it and couldn't, so I got in a Chat session with Customer Care Agent Walter O, this was just before 1:00 PM CST. He said, "I’ve completed the cancellation request.
As a reminder, if the cancellation request is successful you’ll receive an email confirming your item has been cancelled. This typically happens within 48 hours. You may also check the status of your cancellation request in Your Account."
I checked the status every day and it showed "Cancellation Requested".
Friday, Dec 6, 3:19 PM, I get an e-mail that my order was ready for pickup! Now I had to make a special trip to Walmart to pick it up and RETURN IT!
Monday, Dec 9, I went AFTER WORK, was in line WAITING for someone to come to the PICK UP DESK at 4:20 PM. Several people were in the Lay-Away Line. After the clerk showed up I told her I had cancelled the order but it came in anyway and I needed to pick up and return it. She couldn't get the app to work on the gadget she had.
When she finally got the other cashier's gadget to work, got my package, scanned it, had me sign the gadget, she said I couldn't return it there, I HAD TO GO TO THE FRONT SERVICE DESK TO RETURN IT. She said the line wasn't that long. WELL, now it was after 4:30, there were 2 customers in front DOING A MONEY WIRE TRANSFER AND MONEY ORDERS! REALLY!!!
Walmart does NOT CARE HOW MUCH OF YOUR TIME THEY WASTE! They think everyone just goes in there to pass their time and visit and walk around with their i-phones chit-chatting, etc!
NOT EVERYONE!!!
If I would have known it would have taken this much of MY PRECIOUS TIME, I would NOT HAVE PICKED UP THE PACKAGE AND WAITED FOR THEM TO CREDIT THE AMOUNT 10 DAYS LATER!!!
WALMART SUCKS WHEN IT COMES TO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! My review is 0 stars, not 1!!!

To whoever cares,
I was in the Dave lyle walmart in SC. I have to wander if you all have lost all care for your consumers.
I stood in line (only 2 lines open) for 30 minutes waiting to check out and counted 12 employees walking around, on their phones and chatting amongst each other without a care in the world. When I asked if they could open another register they laughed and told me I could use self checkout. Seriously? You all as a company has the worst customer service I've ever experienced.
Nobody can ever help when I need it and everyone acts put out to do their job. I just dont understand. It's so sad..I have quit shopping here as much as I used too and I honestly dread going there now.
Wake up and start realizing how you treat your customers. It's just rude and thoughtless.

What do you expect them to do? If you were watching where you were walking rather than concentrating on you phone you would have seen the dog food and not walked on it. Time to grow up and take some responsibility for you own actions.
Maybe one of the phony service dogs that was in the store got hungry and bit into the bag of dog food.
