VERY ANNOYED

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

tried to return 3 bras back to Walmart (I didn’t have time to try them on).

They said I couldn’t because they are called underware.

Excuse me, I totally get no returns on ‘underwear’ that is in contact with vagina’s. But what difference are garments having contact with feet(socks) smelly armpits ( tee shirts) etc. But bras? You have got to be kidding!!

I was totally unaware of this ridiculous rule, apparently the cashiers weren’t either otherwise they would have warned me.

Hi, it’s me again............can you explain to me what the difference is if I had of had time to try the bra’s on in the store, as opposed to taking them home to try on? They would still have had contact with my body BUT the product would have been returned to the shelf!! (Double standards) Incidentally the manager assured me that my inquiries regarding returning of hats, tee shirts AND socks was totally acceptable

I agree with you 100%. I go commando and when I try on Jeans in the stores, I put them back onto the rack after I have tried them on while not wearing any "Undercare".

Guest

But they let you return jeans! How do they know that the person that was wearing it wasn't going "commando" ???

Guest

To: Walmart-Very Annoyed. (The Reviewer) You're so gross and nasty.

Clearly if you don't understand the rules and the policies when it comes too what you're buying what you're wearing.

Then you need to stay home, if you are not going too have have the time. It would make the employees and managers jobs a lot easier not to deal with customers like you!

Wow...you are seriously gross. FYI...you can't return socks either if they have been removed from the package or show any sign of wear.

It's completely gross to me that someone would try and return any sort of underwear, bras, etc. If you don't have time to try them on then you probably shouldn't buy them.

Walmart auto battery warranty complaint

Walmart auto battery warranty complaint
Walmart auto battery warranty complaint - Image 2

Yesterday I returned a Walmart Maxx-35N to the Paris, TN Walmart that was defective after 50 months. I was told that the pro-rata credit would be $15.62.

However, if I wished to apply this credit toward the purchase of a new battery, the warranty on the new battery would expire in 10 months. After getting nowhere with two sales clerks, I requested to speak to the manager (Kala). In spite of my encouraging her to walk over to the battery rack and read the warranty policy printed in the book (see pic), she refused and told me that she didn't need to read the policy as she already knew what it was. The warranty policy is clear: "All replacement batteries sold during the Pro-Rata replacement period include the full warranty period from the purchase date of the discounted replacement battery." I went ahead and purchased a new battery at full price as I needed a new battery immediately and figure I can pursue resolution with corporate.

I wonder how many people have been cheated out of the pro-rata adjustment and just gone ahead and paid the full price to get a new warranty.

I plan to pursue this matter to higher ups in the company. Don't let them do this to you!

I'm running into the same issue with Walmart EverStart battery! Mine is even worse.

I bought the battery in 2015 with the stated warranty of 5 years. The battery die in 2017 of which Walmart did replace a new one for me. The new battery is now dead (26 months!). I brought the battery to Walmart and they said the prorated value is $7.50!

They told me that I need to pay $95 + tax for the replacement of the new battery which is now listed to be good for 3 years (new label on the EverStart)! I didn't like the deal and ask to speak to the manager. They told me that this is Walmart's policy and it's programmed in the computer so they couldn't do anything! This is a plain robbery (RIPOFF) to me.

I'll looking for a way to solve this either with Walmart, BBB or anyone that can help.

Walmart needs to come to term with this. Either to change the warranty duration or to replace this lousy vendor/product!

Guest

I had the exact same issue. Same exact verbiage should replace battery.

Same response by assistant manager. She would not read what it says. One assistant manager actually said not what is written and he tried to say that I need to go with original purchase date not the replacement date. I can read English.

Seems like this is a fraud trained to assistant managers. Pursue it.

I’m in Florida and it’s identical to what happened to you. I’m getting my $85 back or replacement battery

Guest

So you didn't take the adjustment price and just bought a new battery at full price so you would have a full warranty. How does that do you any good if you aren't going to take advantage of the warranty anyway?

Machele Imf

You might wish to file a complaint with your state's licensing/regulatory agency that deals with consumer protection issues. Go to your state's website and find the appropriate agency and file a complaint.

Attach the Walmart warranty policy if you can, or quote it verbatim from your photo.

FYI: I have never thought Walmart's batteries were that great in the first place and I suspect Walmart has batteries made for their specs., which tend to be lower than a major brand. Like the tires, major brand ones, sold by Walmart, they are, indeed a major brand tire, but made especially for Walmart and of lesser quality than normal for that brand.

Update: Walmart.com contacted me and asked for additional information which I provided. After an exchange of 8 emails, the final one said that they were sorry but they were only empowered to resolve complaints about Walmart.com problems and that I needed to contact a different department of Walmart that handles in store complaints and bring it to their attention.

They were unable to give me the contact info for the correct department.

I have since sent a copy of all the information including a copy of the Walmart warranty policy and my receipts to the overall manager of the local Paris, TN Walmart. Have not heard back yet.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-1519953

Update: After finally getting a hold of a customer service rep at Walmart Corporate, she confirmed the validity of my complaint and opened a file on the incident that the local Walmart could not ignore. I was called the next day by the local store manager and obtained an apology from him, an in person apology from Kayla, and was assured that the employees in the automotive section are now familiar with the correct application of the warranty policy.

I received the $15 warranty credit as well as a $50 gift card for my inconvenience. We all make mistakes, but this incident should have never gone this far without an employee taking responsibility!

Terrible experience with Walmart Optical

I had a terrible experience with Walmart Optical. I have purchase years ago bifocal glasses from lenscrafter, I thought I should have extra pair and decided to save money and buy the spare glasses from Walmart Supercenter #2593 E Serene Ave, Las Vegas. I regret I didn't read the many bad reviews of Walmart Vision Center eye care Service. Long story short after spent money on the Store optometrist's prescription, and waiting 3 weeks for the glasses, it came out all wrong, the first time I put them on I couldn't read signs across the store it was all blare out, I been told I have to get use to them for couple weeks, well, it was all a 'get around' excuse. I end up not wearing the new glasses. I will never do business with Walmart Optical again. You should never try to bargain when it comes to your eye care. Let Walmart do their core business selling balk groceries and merchandize, trusting your eyes at a place that provide optical service only and not with company that sell, vegetables bread cheese electronics and tires.

Every pair of glasses I have purchased whether it be at the optometrists office Walmart or elsewhere has taken a little getting used to. If they don't get better after a week or two go back.

The Walmart in my area has always honored their warranty.

Once to change lenses for me and once for my mother that decided she didn't like hers. It doesn't seem unreasonable that they wouldn't have you try wearing them rather than re-ordering right away.

Machele Imf

Sounds like you spent $400 on glasses which seems rather excessive. Know that there is a huge mark-up and much profit to be made in the eyeglass industry.

The frames are usually outrageously expensive and of dubious, low quality to begin with and the actual lenses are often not correctly "ground" as they say. Your recourse is, of course to demand Walmart either furnish you a pair of glasses with the correct refraction or refund your money. If they delay, refuse, etc. then just dispute the charge with your card company.

On a purchase such as this it is always wise to use a credit card and not cash or a debit card. That being said, it also sounds like the optometrist or whatever Walmart calls them may have made a mistake is the correct prescription for you. That, or someone at the plant where the lenses were ground made a mistake. Who knows?

I had a pair of spare glasses made at Walmart last year but the prescription had been from my regular ophthalmologist and all went well. Good luck, but never accept bad results or pay for someone's mistake.

Legitimate direct deposit and WMMC/GREEN DOT BLOCKED MY CARD

I had a direct deposit of a substantial amount and Walmart Money Card/ Green Dot Bank blocked my account. I sent in the requested documents and was told in 2 business days my account would be unblocked.

The two business days passed and account still blocked. Customer service are rude and unprofessional. Then, they tell me they need 2 more additional business days to continue to try and verify the docs. How hard could it be to verify a license and a direct deposit, Right?

My rent and other bills are due, my vehicle need maintenance, and several other things I need to take. Care of and cant cuz they got my money on hold. HORRIBLE SERVICE. SOON AS I GET MY MONEY I AM CLOSING THIS ACCOUNT.

DO NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO GET THIS CARD. WILL UPDATE TUES WHICH WILL BE THE SECOND BUSINESS DAY FOR THE SECOND TIME.!!!

DISCRIMINATION, RACIST EYES, AND UNPROFESSIONALISM AT WALMART-PHARMACY IN GREENSBORO, NC

My Wife's name is Ms. Elena Ponce. She came by the other day by the Walmart's Pharmacy to pick up some medicines prescribed by her doctor. I have to state that her English is broken but proud we both of being CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATE OF AMERICA. This is what happen to her at that place : She was in pain because of the sciatica. She came by the Walmart's pharmacy to pick up her medicines and they told her with mockery that they did not understand what she was saying. They also said her that they needed to talk to her doctor by phone to have confirmation to release the medicines to her. My wife was still in pain and gave up to them her doctor's telephone number so that they call away. They finally called and talked to my wife's doctor but before doing so they made this process very difficult for her between mockery and racist eyes all the time. I have to say that if they treat like that to a person in pain that is over there to pick up his medicines..., and then I feel comfortable saying that they have not god's forgiveness and no professionalism at all to be working for the healthcare system even at the Walmart's Pharmacy. I will post this review at everywhere in regard with Walmart and all of the companies and third parties involved with this kind of issues. I guess maybe someone is able to take action on issues of discrimination like this one. They all should be fired immediately!. I have to say that the most mocked it was the youngest lady of color...( Funny isn't it? ) Note: This incident happened on Monday, April 8th around 7: 00 pm at Walmart-Pharmacy at 3738 Battleground Ave, Greensboro, NC, 27410.

Exactly what do you mean by mockery and racist eyes? If you are upset because they called her doctor you shouldn't be.

With the crack down on pain killer abuse more steps are being taken to assure doctors aren't over prescribing these medications.

Far too many doctors got into the habit of writing far too many prescriptions of large amounts of pain killers. With the government and pharmacies getting involved with confirming the amount and number of prescriptions being filled, don't be surprised at more scrutiny.

One time, shortly after Barack Obama went into office, I was sitting in the Wendy's Restaurant drinking a cup of coffee. There was a table full of old men talking and one of them loudly said "SO, HOW ABOUT THAT, WE GOT US A BLACK, MUSLIM, GAY, GAY-LOVING PRESIDENT!" Actually what he said was ignorant.

Barack Obama is just as much white as he is black. He's a Christian.

And He's a straight married man, and he doesn't necessarily love gay people but believes in the philosophy of 'Diff'rent Strokes For Diff'rent Folks" I think that those Wal-Mart employees should have treated your wife with the upmost dignity and respect. They should be ashamed of themselves and they should personally offer her thier sincere apology and Wal-Mart corporate should throw in a bunch of free Merchandise as well, like a bunch of real good food so that yall can make yallselves a really nice meal.

I THINK THAT WAL-MART CORPORATE OWES YOU AND YOUR WIFE A SINCERE APOLOGY AND ALSO GIVE HER A ONE THOUSAND DOLLAR WAL-MART GIFT CARD THAT HASN'T BEEN TAPPED BY SCAMMERS YET.

On Thursday, January 3, 2019, I ordered a custom cake from the Walmart Supercenter for my husband's 50th birthday. Three times, I showed the bakery lady the design I wanted (in their cake book) and confirmed with her that it would be used on the cake. She assured me that it would. Then she asked if I wanted anything written on it, which I thought was odd, but since I have no clue about making custom cakes I just went with it.

When I went to pick up the cake today, Sunday, January 6, 2019, they no longer had the order slip and the girl said she couldn't find the cake in the freezer. I told her the name the baker was going to write on the edge of the cake and the girl went back to the freezer again and brought back a cake that looked like it was meant for a 4 year old. The design wasn't the 50th Birthday print that I pointed out in the book and was assured 3 times would be used on the cake. In fact, there wasn't a print on top at all. They had put a print around the entire edge of the cake that said something like "CAKE, fun, fiesta" etc and was clearly meant for a child's cake. On the top, they had written in icing (that was smeared around the edges) "Happy Birthday [my husband's name]". It was so unprofessionally done that it seriously looked like a 1st grader just learning to write, had done it.

When I expressed my extreme disappointment to the girl, she didn't even seem remorseful or concerned. In fact, she acted like she was used to hearing it. When I asked her if they could make the cake I ordered since we lived out of town and it was my husband's birthday that day; she proceeded to tell me I would have to talk to the baker whom just left for her lunch hour. How convenient, right?!

Well, we proceeded to purchase a boxed cake that we would have to make ourselves just so we would have one that day, and then went to the grocery store down the road and ordered a new cake. I mean, you only turn 50 once and we wanted him to have a special cake even if it would be a couple days late. The baker at the store down the road informed us that this is the 3rd time in a month that they have had customers come to them after experiencing the same issue with the bakery at the Fargo Walmart Supercenter.

The Fargo Walmart Supercenter should not be allowed to make custom cake as their employees clearly do not take pride in there work or care if they are ruining someone's special day.

It's Wal-Mart. Who wants a cake from a freezer anyhow ?

Yuck. Is there no actual bakery in your area ? You're 50 year old people and don't know how to bake a cake ?

Here is the way things work : you can have something (1) Good (2) Cheap (3) Quick .... one choice.

These little kids have trouble with reading comprehension. They seem to think that if you tell the OP that they are wrong that you work for the company.

Their parents need to see what they are up to and give them a good slap across the face and take away their internet privileges. Then they need to make them apologize for lying. That person who said you were an employee is obviously seven years old or a foolish adult that cannot comprehend what they have read.

If they knew how to read they would know that you are commenting on them claiming that they lost $10,000 on the cake and not making Walmart the victim. These kids really need to have mommy or daddy read and explain things to them before they comment and make huge fools of themselves.

Nazeer Hwk

Also the OP should not be calling the women girls when the person who accused you of working at Walmart is the one that is acting childish. They are either a foolish adult or a seven year old child.

Because unfortunately on this site if you say anything negative about the poster they automatically think you work for the company. Some of them need to learn the difference between "we" and "they" If they post "we" in their comments they work for the company, if they post "they" in the comments they do not. Kind of an immature speculation if you ask me.

Price increase

You have jumped your prices on Fancy Feast wet can food 7 cents a can and Friskies 6 cents a can. I feed about 15 outside cats and 6 inside cats.

I buy about 70 cans a week. It was high enough as the cans are so small and then you raise them higher. I'll just shop at Chewy and get it delivered free. And don't ever call me a PISSED customer again.

You people could care less about your customers. Think you have a monopoly just like a lot of merchants a long time ago.

Firstly you are visiting and posting on a site called PISSEDCONSUMER.com!! You came here!!

Secondly, just switch to the large cans of Walmart brand cat food. We run a cat rescue and we also have to feed a lot of ferals. Our vet told us to switch because the smaller sized cans tend to have more ash in them. That can cause health issues.

It’s not a monopoly because you can go and purchase from a different store. You are confusing price and availability with a monopoly. Walmart doesn’t have a monopoly. A REAL monopoly gives you zero choices and you can ONLY purchase a product or service from a single entity.

Think mining boom towns of the old west. One general store and no other options for a long distance. So you had literally no choice. That is a true monopoly.

Having to pay a increase in price is called INFLATION! Now that you understand what a monopoly is how can you claim they have one?

Tractor supply carries a $20 bag of dry cat food with 30% protein. That should help your budget as Walmart brand cat food can cause bladder issues from too many minerals.

My Daddy used to buy huge bags of dry Cost Cutter brand dogs food for our cats and big cans of wet Cost Cutter dry cat food. We would put a can of the wet stuff down on a paper plate, spread in across the plate and then cover it with the dry Cost Cutter cat food and press it all in to the wet food.

The cats loved it. My daddy bought expensive cans of "Distinctive Dinners" dog food for his Chihuahua, and they looked just like a delicious bowl of beef stew.

i used to love it in the winter time when a bunch of our cats or kittens would climb op on top of me in bed and keep me warm. Once, we had three mama cats that had babies all at the same time.

One had 5, one had 4 and the other had 3, for a total of 12 kittens. Several times all of the kittens would be in the same area, and one mother cat would show up and have all 12 kittens trying to nurse on her. Often, you would see the 3 mama cats all nursing babies in the same area and there would kittens nursing off the wrong mother. One of the mama cats was a real pretty white cat who would regularly have kittens with one blue eye and one green eye and with a black horseshoe shape on top of their head.

We also had Tortoiseshell mama cats and we would always hope that one of them would have a boy Tortoiseshell cat because they are extremely rare and we could have sold it for millions of dollars. The chances of one of our cats having a boy Tortoiseshell cat were much better than my mama winning the Publishers Clearing House Contest.

Guest

How do they have a monopoly? Seem like you are able to go to Chewy and buy the products you want at a lower price.

If they had a monopoly they would be the only price you could buy cat food. You may find it was the manufacturer that increased the price on their product and Walmart just passed it along. Others may increase their price as they re-order or they could decide that they will absorb the cost of the price increase at the cost of their profits.

In either case feel free to purchase the products you need form the source that can give you the best price. If you are feeding 15 cats and it's hard on your budget have you considered using a more affordable dry cat food?

I bought a two year warranty on a Sunbeam heated throw blanket. I purchased two of these blankets previously and both of them had lasted 1 year. I found that Sunbeam's warranty phone maze is only designed to captivate and ensnarl any who will engage it. My wife really liked the Sunbeam throw blankets when they worked. In an effort to keep my wife happy I decided to purchase one more blanket but safeguard my purchase with a "Two year Walmart care plan". I have discovered that the "Walmart care plan" works the same as the "Sunbeam Warranty plan". By simply forwarding your calls to the Sunbeam warranty maze Walmart can take your warranty money and not bear any of the responsibility.

How soon did the blanket fail? Extended service plans start after the manufacturers warranty ends.

If it failed in the first year they would refer you to the manufacturer, in the second year they would take care of it. A good example is the service plan I purchased at a home center for a gas powered grass trimmer. The manufacturer has a 2 year warranty that requires the trimmer be repaired at a service center if it fails. The store will not accept return if it fails during that period.

But in the third year, the service plan kicks in and the store will take the trimmer back and give you credit for the purchase price. Take time to read and understand the service plans you buy to avoid disappointment.

How many hours should I wait on the phone to speak with a manufacturers representative about a $46 product? Why would Walmart sell a two year warranty to me knowing that they will simply forward my inquiry to the manufacturers two year warranty? I purchased the Walmart warranty so I would not have to be at the mercy of the manufacturer again.

Any well read consumer knows, and has read many many times that the extended service plans and warranties are almost always a bad idea to purchase, and that you are much better off setting the money aside in case you need repairs.

Most store credit cards are not worth having. If you have others, you are wise to ditch the store cards.

I'm sure Walmart is super sad to lose you as a customer. There is something clearly up here.

If they couldn't ID you it's because you couldn't answer your security questions and/or verify who you were. I know this because I had my Walmart card stolen last year and went through the process to report it. I answered my security questions easily and was done in 10 minutes.

With the amount of fraud out there companies HAVE to be insanely diligent in making sure you really are the owner of the card. If you don't know that, then I suggest you climb out from under the rock you live under.

I GAVE THEM S/S NUMBER, BIRTHDATE, HOME ADDRESS, WIFE'S FULL NAME, LAST AMOUNT I PAID ON THE CREDIT CARD TO THE PENNY, AT THAT TIME I WAS PUT ON HOLD AND LATER TOLD THEY STILL COULD NOT ID ME. I'M 75 YEARS OLD AND HAVE NEVER HAD THIS KIND OF EXPERIENCE FROM A CREDIT CARD COMPANY OR A BANK, AND I HAVE MANY CREDIT CARDS.
