They put a hold on my card, one not listed as the renewal method, because my membership renewal date was today. I put my Venmo card as the renewal method on purpose in case I didnt have the cash to renew it, I assumed it would just not go through.
Then they just kept trying to charge other cards that Ive used previously to pay for orders (some not even mine) and when those didnt work they charged my cashapp card. Unfortunately I ordered stuff and went over my limit, so thats $30 in fees. I tried to pause the membership and got an email last night saying it was paused. Then not only did it still go through but THEN they charged me for the membership TWICE.
2 identical charges. So now the only cash I had is all tied up in holds so I cant even fix my other card issue. I called and chatted with people explaining this and all they did was refund one charge and say the other will basically fall off of hold.. how can they legally charge other cards?
Thats crazy af. And I needed the money on my cashapp today. The refund will take 7-10 days. Its sad that such a small amount ($13 + $13) affects me so much, but it does right now.
So Im out way more than $13 total since I cant even access my only funds atm . Its causing me all sorts of problems and the chat people were sympathetic but couldnt help because theyre not Walmart employees, per say. Im not certain how its legal to charge other cards Ive used for purchases previously.
Thats madness if you ask me! I needed to pay on my credit card and my sherwin Williams charge account today now I cannot do either

User's recommendation: So not believe their agents in the phone. I gave been lied to by every agent about something for 3 days now. They refuse to fix anything they did to my account. There only answer I'm sorry but we can't fix anything. If they can't fix an order then what does customer care do? I'm laughing at the dept name as I type this .... Customer care.... care for what?

My phone was stolen two months ago. I tried to transfer it to a new phone and no in-store location would assist me.
Most stores have no electronics dept. After a week of trying, I went to a T-Mobile, and they could not transfer it since it was Walmart Plan and I did not have the phone or contacts. I signed up for T-Mobile directly and received a new number, which was quite inconvenient. I lost all my data and photos.
I then tried to cancel it via your 800 number and still no help.
I assumed it would not matter since if I did not pay my bill, the number would end. Today I dialed my old number on a whim and it was still active. I was enrolled in autopay, which I was not aware of. So today I called the customer service number and explained the issue.
Because I did not know the pin# I was told there was nothing I could do. I suffer from memory loss due to injury, and keeping track of these things is difficult. The representative said to call my bank, that there was nothing she could do. I asked her the last four of the card, so I could cancel the autopay,, but no help there.
I called my bank and since it was autopay they could not cancel future transactions.
They assisted me in finding the card I used, and they told me the only resolution was to block the card from Walmart in the future. So I did that. I have many cards but so there is no problem. And since Walmart has no service people in store and help line was unsatisfactory, I blocked the card.
It may not take effect before the next cycle, but that is fine because I do not intend to ever shop in Walmart again. I spend at minimum of $500 a month with credit card and another $400+ in cash. I will take my business elsewhere. The staff are always pleasant and good values except for meat, but there are other stores that offer better service, INCLUDING my new Mobile store which is cheaper by the way.
If you can't help a customer then you won't have this customer.
I am not that desperate and unsophisticated to tolerate a corporation that forgot what service is. Smart & Final, Safeway, and Target will serve my future needs.
User's recommendation: Find a store that values you, serves you and that does not disregard you. They only store worse than Walmart is Dollar Genera.

Wanted AT&T uverse home phone internet and wireless, but couldnt get it without deposit, so I paid cash 750$ for my iPhone 12 Pro Max when 14s first came out, and now AT&T told me that I still owe on the phone but I paid WALMart and I specifically asked your salesperson what the complete cost was because I had the money in hand and I was able to pay for it right then and there, and now they wont unlock my phone and I have lost months from my life and suffered anxiety and mental anguish and lost money due to my phone being locked by a third party that has nothing to do with the equipment that I purchased and I am going to make sure that you remember that you are a store and your continued existence depends on your customer care and service

Ya que le pregunté el nombre del gerente de barceloneta a los empleados no me lo proveyeron. El gerente fue bien hostil y no me gustó el trato hacia mi persona. En ningún momento fue respetuoso y el cual se negó en devolverme el dinero de una mercancía defectuosa de fábrica que fue certificado por el Sr. Raúl el jefe de la Compañía Enco de Puerto Rico.
A un así se negó devolverme mi dinero a mi tarjeta de crédito de capital one.

I had EXACTLY THE SAME PROBLEM LAST MONTH AND WALMART KEPT TELLING ME THAT THE BANK DECLINED THE CHARGE WHEN THEY DIDN'T! The bank wrote an email to me last month confirming that no charge from Walmart came in, so they did not decline anything.
I ended up being forced to shop elsewhere where at least I was acceptable. That misery began on June 5 and reoccurred on June 12 but with a different card from a different bank, so it was intended to be against me only. At the beginning of July, someone called claiming she was from Walmart Customer Service and said there was a problem in the website that had been corrected. I was able to purchase items from there after that, so I assumed the problem had ended -- until just now on July 11, THE EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN!!!
In the June 5 incident, I was told that the bank declined the charge, but the bank wrote to me, saying that no record of any charge from Walmart existed in my account. Now the problem has occurred again, and I'm expected to believe it's not against me personally!!! Well, why does it happen to me over and over?!?!?!?
Don't tell me to be patient; that line was tried on me last month and my patience was drained then. I don't feel like asking when I know the response is likely to be a lie!!!
Preferred solution: If I can't shop with Walmart online, I want them to pay for my transportation to and from Walmart whenever I want to go there, which is at least once a week!
User's recommendation: If possible, avoid Walmart completely. Any merchant who sustains such a problem doesn't consider customers very much.

By the way, I have great ratings and have had at least good ratings the whole time I have delivered for them.There are overly long weight times for orders if you get them at all.You will most likely be lied to,disrespected or pay no mind if you try and ask about your missing order.clients who have placed the order are treated no better when they call and ask where their order is .I know this because more than one client has told me so when I do finally make deliveries to their home or business.They don't treat people well. I have been fired.

This is not my first review of Walmart. My only reason for posting so often is because Walmart keeps failing me over and over, sometimes by not delivering orders, sometimes by having a website that malfunctions and rejects charges for no justified reasons, other times because items ordered are not in stock and unwanted replacements are made without clearing them with the customer.
It is why I say that placing orders from Walmart is no different than throwing a penny in a wishing well and hoping that the wish will come true; the chances are VERY remote!!!
What I have endured in the past two months defies description. In June, TWICE I tried to order items from Walmart to be delivered to my home. TWICE the purchases were "not authorized," but the reason that Walmart gave to me was that the bank denied the charges. They told me to contact the bank.
I did exactly as they said, but the bank confirmed that no charges from Walmart had been placed with them. The first time was June 5; the second was June 12. I must add that in the June 12 order, I used a different debit card from another banking institution; I had checked the balances of both bank accounts and there were adequate funds in both, so the reason that the charges were being "not authorized" was truly a mystery. The first bank even sent me an email denying that any charges had not been honored because none were placed.
The bizarre part was that on June 7, I actually went to the Walmart store nearest to me here in the city and used EXACTLY THE SAME DEBIT CARD AND EBT CARD AS I HAD USED IN THE JUNE 5 ORDER ONLINE, and lo and behold, both made the payments with no problems at all!!! What could I understand from that? Nothing, of course; it made no sense, and I just assumed that I was on some kind of blacklist.
On July 2, again I tried to order an item, this time an electric can opener, using a debit card again from the same bank that allegedly declined the purchase on June 5. However, this time, there was another failed purchase as the delivery never reached my home!
I made contact with Walmart's Help Center and I was told that I should wait for 48 hours. If the item would not arrive within 48 hours, then I should contact Walmart to get my money refunded. Nice to know that placing an order for delivery has about the same chances as playing a game of roulette! When the next day I had heard nothing about the purchase, I made contact with the Help Center, and I learned that Walmart had not discovered what became of the ordered item.
Not wanting to wait interminably and already having lost all faith in Walmart's ability to deliver merchandise purchased online, I made contact with the help Center. They could not locate the ordered item. I gave up; I found the item that I wanted on amazon.com and ordered it there. I told Walmart to cancel the order and refund my money.
Of course, the catch was that the refund would enter my account only after waiting 7-10 business days; hardly a consolation, but could I expect any better? Obviously not; like it or not, the customer is the lowest priority. At least Amazon will deliver to me; they have never put me through this kind of ordeal before, and I tend to believe they will actually deliver without problems simply because they've always done so for me.
I know that Walmart will do its best to say that I am being unfair. Yes, me being unfair because I purchase something for delivery and have the nerve to complain when it is never delivered.
Silly me, what was I thinking? So I placed an order for delivery; could Walmart be bothered with something as trivial as a customer's order for delivery? Obviously not! That is sufficient reason for me to shop elsewhere for a while, and I have already begun doing so.
I want to hear NOTHING from people who say I'm "not being fair" with my criticisms.
Of course I'm very unfair to expect a merchant to deliver the item that is ordered to the address ordering the item; did I think that just because I paid money for the item, I deserved consideration? My demands are so excessive that I actually write and post complaints such as this one because I have the silly Western notion that service to the customer is the responsibility of the merchant!
