I'm done with walmart. I'll never buy anything there again.
On line or at there lazy, lying, thieving, corrupt stores. I use to be proud of walmart. That was a long time ago. I've been over charged.
Had an sd card stolen. Refused a return. Tried to buy a treadmill in store. That lead to (3) three lost employees.

Only one register open. Be thankfull, we get two registers during christmas. When i complained. I was blamed.

Do not ever purchase extended warranty on jewelry it only covers electrical & mechanical damage. Like what person needs that type of coverage for jewelry. Walmart selling protection plan under false pretenses for monetary gain for insurance company that has no intention of any repairs at all.
Milo's tea laced with spicey and hot substance
My name is Debbie Crowell and I have bought Milo's Tea at the Neighborhood Walmart Market 6th Avenue S E Decatur, Alabama ever since it opened. My tea was best thru 12/24/18.
I drank a glass or two and it was fine but then as I got on down from the container I drank another sip on another day and it burnt my lips and then my abdomen starting hurting terribly that I thought I was going to have to go to the hospital. I got a heating pad out and put on my stomach. It relieved some and I fell asleep. But the next day my stomach was sore.
That tea had something in it because it has a suds like top of the tea. I didn't drink the whole glass I threw it out. I have never had Milo's Tea to do that to me. This is scary to where did it happen at the factory or did someone maliciously put it in at Walmart.
I am very concerned. I will never drink Milo's tea and I don't know if I am going to shop at Walmart.
Because at Walmart employees do not keep an eye out to what people are doing in the store. I wrote this because someone needs to find out what is going on.

Agreed. My wife knows your pain.
Kristen has compromised her meds twice now. That's too much.
She may like you? Well your a RN.
In the med industry. Sometimes people in the medical industry know a bit too much, so she could be just being cautious. Is she young? Maybe she was trained how to spot addictions and her interpretation could be off some.
Im moving my pharmacy to Costco. I used Goodrx and Costco is doing better than Walmart most of the time, except for the Psycho drugs Walmart gets a better deal on them LMAO Just kidding
I have dealt with Kristen on a regular basis, and have nothing polite or respectful to say about her as a pharmacist or human being. My first unpleasant experience was when my Psychiatrist prescribed a new medication.
I was doing very well on this new Rx, and it had been filled a few times without any hiccup. It wasn’t until Kristen took it upon herself to have MY doctor change the Rx. The new medication I was put on gave me 2 months of terrible side effects forcing me to miss several days of work. This week was the absolute last straw when she decided that I couldn’t have one of my Rx’s filled there due to me having to call a couple times, speaking to an assistant, trying to resolve an issue that my insurance had caused.
If I had been rude to any of the pharmacy assistants, I would have been told that I could no longer use their pharmacy to refill all of my Rx’s, not just one. Furthermore, I wasn’t rude on the phone due to me and my husband knowing those that work there, and we have always had a great professional relationship with them. Unfortunately, Kristen did not stop there. Her calls to my Nuerologist’s office were unnecessary, and not appreciated by him or his staff.
When you have a patient dealing with seizures, instractable migraines, and chronic pain, I cannot go 24 hours without my medications or else I am in the ER or admitted. My medical condition, and Rx’s have been very closely monitored by ACTUAL DOCTORS - nuerology, physciatry, general practitioner, etc. In addition, my medical conditions have been monitored and consulted on by the leading migraine neurologists, top neurosurgeons, the Mayo Clinic, MHNI (Michigan Headache and Nuerology Institute), and other top doctors who specialize in this area. I meet with my doctors once a month, we have never needed to increase my usage of pain meds, or other meds, for the past 5 years.
I am on a manageable maintenance program. Leave it to say that my medical team has far more experience than she will ever have, and I am closely monitored by the ACTUAL DOCTORS! To have a pharmacy manager, who was kicked out of Safeway’s Pharmacy, then moved to Walmart, due to her interference with patients’ Rx’s and second-guessed doctors is absolutely despicable. — And just as an FYI, the doctors are able to see what meds have been prescribed, when they were picked up, etc.
Pharmacist can access that information as well. Trust me, these medications are monitored very closely through the federal government, and doctors offices (since they run the risk of being shut down for overprescribing Rx). Kristen went to school to be a PHARMACIST, NOT A DOCTOR. Her job is to make sure medications are correct, answer any questions the consumers have, and to provide knowledge about interactions and side effects.
IT IS NOT HER JOB TO FURTHER COMPLICATE THE LIFE OF THOSE WHO, UNFORTUNATELY, HAVE TO RELY ON THESE MEDICATIONS UNTIL A NEW TREATMENT COMES ALONG. This b@#*% has crossed the line for the last time with me. I will not let her interfere with my wellbeing, harassing my medical team, and having an all-around disgruntled, unprofessional attitude. Walmart has lost all business from us, and Safeway has earned it.
The next step is to finish my conversation with the lead pharmacy department of Walmart and push through with this complaint.
She is not going to win this battle. She messed with the wrong person.
Wow! If in fact you are a registered nurse you should be well aware of the problems with pain killers.
If you haven't heard it at work, you should have heard it on the news that there is a crackdown on doctors and pharmacies who are too lax with prescriptions for certain drugs. You apparently are using a higher than normal amount of these drugs and you have encountered a pharmacist that is actually doing their job and questioning the amount of drugs you are being subscribed.
Just because a doctor prescribed it doesn't mean it is correct. There are doctors that are over prescribing pain killers and sooner or later will end up loosing their license to practice medicine.
Well Anonymous, there are some people who are taking these pills legally and correctly with their doctor knowing about it for a legit reason. Sometimes these pain killers are all that works.
If it's documented in the history and its refilled on schedule, not ahead of time like they are abusing them there should not be an issue. Sounds to me like the OP is doing everything as she is suppose to. I'm sure if you were in her shoes and every month you would know you had to go through this you would be furious too. The pharmacist could place the call to the doctor when it's being filled before the customer is there to pick it up.
What if she was going in when the doctor office was closed or the doctor was out and the call couldn't be made to verify. Not everyone taking these is an addict.
So if a doctor has a history of overprescribing narcotics they shouldn't be questioned? Part of the new regulations are there to find the doctors that are prescribing more than what other doctors are.
Whose to say a doctor is overprescribing? Whose the judge of that?
Who is setting the "standard" for what is normal and what is not? Everyone has a different pain level. What is a 5 to one person is a 9 or more to another on the pain scale that doctors use in the office. If a person needs to take 3 a day for 30 days that would be 90 pills.
It seems high when you say 90 pills in a month, but when it's 3 a day to control the pain it really is not excessive. Just saying if the OP has been on these for a while and is not abusing them (asking for more before the refill is due) she should not be questioned. I could see questioning the first fill but not each additional month. Pharmacies can now only dispense 1 month supply at a time of these.
So if she's abusing them she would be out for days or weeks before she could get them refilled. You can not get them until you are due for your refill. You are also forgetting there are different mg's available too. Granted they all cause dependence but when you need pain relief so you can function it's a chance you are willing to take.
Would you go to the dentist to get a tooth pulled without having something to numb the pain? Would you have surgery where they slice you open with out being knocked out for it? Remember each of these has risks to it too, the doctor could give you too much. Most doctors are legit and not harming the patients,.
A pharmacist should be watching more for possible interactions with other meds people are on, that is a bigger problem. And if a pharmacist needs to call to verify they could simply call before the person gets there.
Why would they want to fill a Rx and have it ready in the little bags they use only to find out when the person gets there that the doctor says nope, don't fill it. If they check ahead of time the tech doesn't have to count out the pills place them in a bottle print the label and everything.
If a doctor is known for overprescibing, why are they still practicing? Their license should be pulled.
Most are following the rules. Most want to stay in business. Also want to know how they can regulate this? Whose going to judge how much pain someone is in and everyone reacts different to medicines too.
Why do you think some people get certain side effects while others don't. How can one person take ABC and it works great but someone else gets no relief at all and need XYZ instead.
