On March 28, 2018, I purchased an Element computer monitor from Walmart. There was a problem scanning so two employees repeatedly input barcode until it finally went through.

When I tried to return it I was told that the numbers on the box didn't match the numbers on the monitor. I went to the Ledo Road store and spoke with an associate then a manager. I explained that what I returned was what I purchased. Since this time, I have spoken with headquarters customer service at least twice, local management at least three times and several trips back to the store after customer service said to do so.

Each person at the store said they couldn’t return it and I needed to talk to another manager. Through phone calls and several complaints online, I was told that it's at the manager discretion but management said they can't do the return. I purchased an Element computer monitor in good faith, but when I tried to return it there was a problem. I don’t know how, why or what happened.

What I do know is I returned what I purchased. I’m being penalized for somebody else mistake. This has been a very stressful situation. If I wasn't on disability, I would have given up because the stress is not worth it.

I thought that Walmart stood behind their merchandise but it seems that is a thing of the past. This happened at the Ledo Road location in Albany, Georgia.

Management is Tia Jordan, Eric Creely, Alan Smith and Blake Abbott. At the least, I expected to receive a gift card for the amount of the monitor, $126.26.

When buying electronics, you get what you pay for. If you go cheap, expect it to mess up or for the quality to be underwhelming. I always research a larger electronics purchase (smart phone, tv, computer) and pay up so I have peace of mind in what I'm buying.

What does being a veteran have anything to do with this situation? The problem with scanning the bar code when you purchased it has nothing to do with the fact that either the model or serial numbers on the box don't match the monitor. You don't say there was a problem with the monitor, so why did you buy something you didn't want in the first place?

You must remember that you are dealing with Walmart and common sense is not so common there. You don't say why you wanted to return the Element monitor, but your original mistake was, of course in buying that brand in the first place as their products are unreliable----altho they entice you with a low price. Still waiting

I order a kayak and a anchor on 8/29/18 . I have recovered the kayak but still waiting for the anchor l have been to the store 3 times and called . So I drove to the store and they made me wait in the pick up for over 20 min. So I had to go in.

Poor customer service

Last night I had to stay in two long lines because no one can give me a simple answer that customer service was not open after 10 pm in that branch. Some told me stand in a cashier line to return an item I bought by mistake. My total experience was one hour in this horrible Wal-Mart in Tarpon Springs, Florida. We are trapped with this store and unfortunately I have to go back and buy from this dump

Inventory deletion and stocking issues.

First almost every time I go to the meat department the shelfs are empty. They also do not carry one pound ground sirloin packages. Now what really gripes me. Product deletions seem to be their new motto. They do not carry or stop carrying products I want to buy. Here are just a few. Klostermans bread, Hickory Farms Jalapeño cheddar cheese, Coles garlic bread, Golden Dipt onion ring batter mix. It seems every time I go there to shop another item has been deleted and replaced with a Walmart brand. Don't even bother to try and buy a gun or ammunition there. It took me two hours to get a shotgun once. Not because of the background check. That was done in three minutes. Then after waiting for a manager for two hours. I found out why. They have to escort you out the front before giving you the gun. They limit ammunition sales to one box of 50 rounds. And they are those cheap Russian rounds that are coated and jam in your gun. I get that there are crazy people out there. But I doubt they are going to Walmart to buy anything. If they did the rounds would jam after one or two shots and we would all be better off if they did.

You fail to notice the part where you have to wait two hours to be escorted out by a manager. It's not the escorting but rather the time it took.

But you are clearly a person that hates guns. And anyone that owns one should have no rights or expectations of proper respect.

Your junk food should be available on demand and your bullets should be given to you because you're obviously not a psycho and the rules shouldn't apply to you.

These are the kind of problems I wish I had. This isn't a complaint, it's a tantrum.

And I bet you are a vegan because neither is meat. As for bullets I did not want them for free. I was trying to pay for them. It was the limiting that was wrong.

I think you are missing the entire point of this complaint. And yes, it is a complaint as everyone is entitled to one.

Just like you are complaining about this complaint.First off, please show me which of these items are junk food? The“Chocolate covered Twinkies” that YOU mentioned later on are nowhere in the original comment so pulling stuff out of your *** is pointless so please put the Twinkie that you are currently eating down and keep reading.Second, needing or wanting ammunition is not a crime and wanting to get a few more rounds so that you don’t have to keep going back as frequently is not being entitled. That time table is unacceptable in any line of work. Not everyone has all day to do nothing and be an *** to complete strangers on the internet like you. Being a tad upset that a grocery store doesn’t seem to carry certain staple items anymore is valid.

Complaints like this allow stores/companies to see what consumers really think, what they like and don’t like so that they can do better in the long run. Complaints like this allow other consumers the chance to get an idea of a store/company before going as well. So no, this is not a tantrum.

Nothing but a marketing scam, getting customers in the door, planning people will buy and buy then believe they themselves or the employee or anyone else than WalMart thwe corporation is to blame or did something incorrect, so WM pockets the cash and laughs all the way to the bank. For almost a year, I methodically and diligently scanned my receipt after checking out & paying. The total reached $11.83 so I tried to redeem it when paying the next time. However, the sales clerk found no balance in the account when I gave her the number. I pulled up the account online (as other customers waited in line behind me, getting pissed off at ME! Not WalMart!) the account still had no value on it that she could see. Finally, I printed the account with code to bring to the register NEXT TIME. Still, no value coming up. In the end, I followed the customer service instructions online and clicked a button there to show the value in the account, but nothing happened. No page opened. No value. Nothing. I worked in computer systems professionally for 8 years, so I could see from the webpage that there is code attached to that button at all. It cannot open, nor show a value, because it's just for looks. Since I purposely chose to shop at WalMart instead of running all over town for sales (point of WalMart's marketing campaign), WM has scammed and stolen from me and countless other customers. Unfortunately, we have little power against the companies that literally steal from you, breaking the law and the contract with shoppers. Possession (of our money) is 9/10ths of the law. Good luck getting your money back from WalMart! Lastly, I'll add that WM regularly rings up the wrong price in my basket, and always the higher price, which they hope you won't notice as you're rushed through by cashiers who are being exploited by WM as well. The pennies I save on certain items end up costing more overall because other items ring up at $1.00 extra. Wal-Mart is disgusting and the nickle-and-dime scheme they have set up, cheating the poorest people is the lowest of the low.

Would not give me my california deposit back

Walmart in Redding ca. I bought 2 cans of 134a AC Freon, I also had to pay a $10.00 deposit on each can. 10 days after I bought the 134a I returned the two empty cans to Walmart customer service, I wasn't returning a item for my money back I was just getting my deposit back. Never thought about a recite, It shows in bold print on the can a California $10.00 deposit is required on each can. Other words that can doesn't leave the store without a $10.00 charge for the return of the can. I was refused my deposit back. So where does my $20.00 go? Do I need to get in touch with California recycling? This isn't right and I would like my money back or a legal answer why Walmart should get to keep it

Your legal answer is that you did not have a receipt. They have no idea if you bought it there, or at another store. Doesn't matter if it is a deposit, or a return, no receipt equals no refund.

Insane

Ordered a 49 inch hisense t.v., got here the screen was cracked. Called them on a friday and they said they would send us another and it would arrive on tuesday. Waited all day for it so we decided to call them, they said it was in Mooresville NC yesterday. Then today they said their was no tracking number on it or anything so they ( assume the order was accidentally stopped ) now friday we have to send the broke one back on a FedEx truck and ours supposedly will be at our hometown Wal-Mart dropped off. What happens if the FedEx gets here we send the one originally gotten back and our's is not at wally world. Sh.t out of luck i suppose. Insane.

Bad cherries

2 weeks ago I bought 4 16oz Great Value brand of jarred cherries. Opened 2 of them and they both smelled like sour milk.

I cautiously tasted it and it tasted like sour milk. I called the number on the jar and reported it.

I brought it back to the store and reported it. Two weeks later, the same batch is still on the shelves.

I bought some Great Value Olives once and they tasted real nasty right from the start. I tried to take them back to Wal-Mart, but they said that I was just past the 30 day limit to take them back.

Si, I called up the phone number for Great Value products and told them about it and they send me a refund by mail on a Wal-Mart gift card. After that, i would just buy Mario brand olives.

I don't use self check out because i am not getting paid to be a cashier. And they haven't reduced price's. Gove me a discount and i may consider. Service at Walmart is aweful when it comes to checking out. Not employes the company. Shocked I give them no stars. Sad

Right On! They should have the self checkout machines programmed to give you like a five percent discount off of your total for scanning all of the items myself.

I have a suggestion: Anytime someone uses the self checkout lane, have it print pout a coupon good for 5 percent of your total purchase price.

Then, say that the coupons can be given to the people who are always asking for money for their charity outside the door. At the end of the day, those people can take all of those coupons up to the service desk and exchange them for cash for their charity.

I received my order from Tasharina, the size wasn't true to size. They didnt send any receipt, how much I paid for it. I dont know where to send it, there is no information whatsoever. Won't be ordering from Walmart.com again! I order online quite often and never have this problem. I feel if Walmart is doing business with this company, I feel Walmart should play a part in you getting your money back or be able to send back the merchandise and get the correct size because its damaging their reputation because its their name that we're ordering off of their website. WALMART TREAT AND RESPECT YOUR CUSTOMERS RIGHT! THATS MY HARD EARNED MONEY JUST THROWN UP IN THE AIR!

I have always shopped at walmart have even worked at one time there however went there on a Wednesday made a almost 200 transaction and they did a duplicate transaction it is Monday and still have a hold on my account. I have tried to contact them they said it was my bank my bank states that they are the ones holding it.

I continue to get the run around and was not even offered anything not a gift card or anything for the inconvenience not everyone has 200 dollars they can just go without for a week now i am forced to sell my belongings for groceries.

I am a single mom and work and go to school that money was to pay my bill and feed my kids I have to wait till possibly the end of this week or next week to get my money. I will NEVER shop there again.
