Walmart Manager Review from California, Maryland

Yesterday (5/8/18) I went to my local Walmart (Miramar way, California, MD) to have some photos printed. According to the Associate, the 1 hour kiosks were "broken", so I left. Today (5/9/18) I went back and the Kiosks were working. Uploaded the photo I needed printed, and generated my order (8:46 am). On the receipt it said the prints would be ready at 10:00 am. There was also a sign on the counter that stated the photo dept. was closed and would be open in the MORNING (obviously left last night). So I ran a couple errands, came back at approx. 9:55 am. Since no one was there and the sign stated to pick up any photos in the Electronics Dept. I go to Electronics, and am told that they can't get my photos, "the machine hasn't been turned on". So I ask when I can get them, to this they said there is no one scheduled until 5:00 pm. This is absolute *** I ask to speak to the store manager, well, "he's off today", so I ask for the assistant manager. After waiting 20+ minutes, one of the assistant managers comes over, and explains "sorry but we don't have anyone coming in until 5:00 pm". While he was nice enough, I explained that this is definitely a "management issue that you have only one person in the entire *** store that can turn on the photo printer". While he was courteous, he didn't even offer any resolution except come back at 5:00 pm. He could have at least offered to print the photos on the Instant Kiosk and given them at the 1 hour price, or offered a small discount when I come back later.

Am I pissed?, YES I am!

At this point, Walmart can take the photos (I know they will get printed whenever someone does come in), and eat them. I know it's only a couple $$, but each time you lose a couple $$ it drives your cost up.

As a business owner myself I understand Customer Service, and "This aint it!"

I have been a Walmart customer for years, and while you may not give a *** if I ever come back, I don't *** care. I have been to other Walmart stores around the country, and this one seems to be pretty close to the bottom as far as customer service. Will I ever set foot in Walmart again? Don't know at this point. We do have other local options, and while the prices may be a little higher, customer service is MUCH better.

Feel free to contact me if you really care. If you don't contact me, it speaks volumes about Walmart's commitment to customer service.

Bad customer service phone line . Called the 800 number

Called the 800 number today was told 10 minute wait time. After 10 minutes it disconnects did that 5 times and still no answer. Called the non 800 corporate number and they refused to help. Told me to be item back to store. Was asking for help with troubleshooting a new DVD player that was not working. Yes it’s a Walmart brand ONN. Live 35 minutes away from store. They still didn’t care. Now I have to waste time and gas to bring it back. Junk products....

What exactly does "free 2-day shipping" mean?

I received an email notification from Walmart.com on the 23rd saying my items were shipped. It's now the 26th and I have received NONE of my order.

I even received an email notification today stating that one of the items in my order was actually delivered (it was not). After contacting Customer Care, the only explanation received in the late shipment was that the carrier had unexpected "inconveniences" on the way. As for the item that was reported delivered, I was reassured the item was in transit and would arrive along with the rest of the order. As of now, my order *should* be delivered by the 28th...NOT 2-day shipping.

Personally, I fully appreciate the free delivery and would probably still continue to use Walmart.com online ordering if 1) they would NOT use false advertising and promise a 2-day delivery service that they cannot fulfill, and 2) the tracking information and notifications were accurate.

I explained to the customer care rep that when Walmart sends an inaccurate notification and tracking showing that a package has been delivered, they are then wrongfully diverting responsibility to the carrier, OR the customer might even think the package was stolen. It doesn't do your customers any good promising "free 2-day shipping" for the sake of competing with Amazon Prime when you can't actually provide 2-day shipping - from the looks of all these recent complaints, this is a very common issue.

The 23rd is a Saturday. When it says shipped, it means they've packed it up, and sent the information to UPS or FedEx.

However those places do not pick up shipments on the weekend. Any time you order something on the weekend, it is 2 days from the next business day.

Amazon prime isn't perfect either. I've had more than one late shipment. Several that have left their warehouse but never got to the shipper and were eventually refunded.

Actually shopping in a Walmart is bad enough given the rude, unkempt, uncaring and just plain clueless employees encountered but then you really think Walmart.com will be any different? Best to shop online at any of the tens of thousands of websites out there rather than at anything connected to Walmart.

I INTEND ON GETTING MY $$ BACK

Items purchased w/ a "gift card" 4 in store credit from a no receipt return WILL NOT B EXCHANGED EVEN WITH YOUR RECEIPT! Customers r not informed of this "policy." I will get my $$ back MANY MANY TIMES OVER! This money hungry company could care less about customer service. Their decision 2 keep my $$ will COST THEM PLENTY! They have a "PISSED CUSTOMER" WEBSITE! WTF?! Walmart could care less about their customers!

the Head Store Manager (ELONA) contact me few few days later and apologies to the Manager act with customer (me). I had to stop by the same day to meet her and give more details and my prospective on how I felt from this act and this Failure.

I met in Person with ELONA and had short conversation about this indecent and fact, she apologizes many times and promises to talk directly to person respond and will correct and will address the issue. I accepted this action and further more i walk with her and explain how the store fail to explain to the customer that item was not return , her answer was the cashier should of told me when i paid this that this item is not returnable and it was lack of training. bottom line she apologies and I accepted her apologizes and offer to give me a $20 in gift card which I accept for her behalf.

ELONA is a very professional Store manager and I felt very comfortable talking to her in person. Her action was very respectful, I hope that Walmart hire more people with same level with ELONA.

THIS IS REGARDING MY COMPLAINT (Walmart - Horrible! just lost my business forever).(Review #124****). after the issue I had with store experience, I spend an hour talking to customer service at Walmart center online. She directed me to contact the head store manager to solve the problem because Walmart can't do anything online and the fix has to come from the store itself. they gave the name for the HEAD STORE MANAGER HER NAME (ELONA). I called and requested her by name but they told me she is in meeting !!! and asked for my number, so I gave the store my number and they told me the manager will call you back. after 5-10 minute the Manger (ELONA) called me back and asked whats the problem, again i had to tell her about what happen and rude manger on floor. and I also gave her the exact time and asked her to go and review your video and she requested the TC# on my receipt and i gave her that too, and i also offered her to come back to store and talk in person but she said no need to come just give me time to review the video and talk to rude manager (BRIAN) and i will call you back tomorrow. This Head store manager (ELONA) never returned my call to let me know what her correct of action for her rude manager act and what will she do to fix future issues like this. To me it's a BIG JOKE and HUGE LIE that Walmart hire Mangers to run their business and rune their reputation. hope that Walmart look at their store managers and put this in their reviews. this act give me one more reason to not shop at Walmart again.

FALSELY ACCUSED OF STEALING!

I have been shopping at my local Walmart for years, and after this incident, I will never shop there again. I had went there on a Friday night (6/22/18) at around 7:30 P.M. There were only three registers open and they had at least three people in each line. I was forced to use the self-checkouts. After I had finished scanning all my items and payed, I proceeded out the front door. Just a few inches from the door, a young woman in a yellow vest (Kaycee) was calling after me telling me that I didn’t finish my order. Even though I had told her I had the receipt, Kaycee insisted I come back into the store. After a few minutes of sitting on a bench in the store, Kaycee comes back to me and states the register is saying I had canceled my bank card and never payed for my items. She had showed me a slip from the register alleging this. I told her that this wasn’t true and that I had my receipt, but I couldn’t find it. I then reached for my phone and showed Kaycee that the amount was taken from my bank account. After a few minutes later a manager (Linda) comes up and tells me that I had never payed for the items. She claimed that they had me on video showing that I never payed. I am not a thief! I know I had payed for those items and didn’t want to pay for them again. Knowing that I really needed the diapers, I ended up relenting and paying for the stuff all over again. I know I had payed for those items, then I had payed for them twice. Walmart had treated me like a thief when I am not. Then to top it off, Kaycee stared at me the whole way out the door. I will never shop at Walmart again!

Went to the pharmacy in Chattanooga, TN on Brainerd Road to pick up a prescription for my niece, i was the only one in line and was told that someone would help me in just a few minutes, well i waited and i waited, all the while employee after employee looked at me and preceded to do whatever they were doing, i freaking lost it, a line had formed behind me and i snapped. I walked up close to the counter and asked loudly if they could see me or if i was invisible? I spoke so everyone could hear me and i said "I been standing here for over 30 minutes waiting to pick up a prescription for my niece and have been ignored, someone needs to help me right now so i can *** go". I was only then immediately helped, the cashier said while handing me the prescription "thank you" in a smugg tone, i replied never again B! $÷×, with a smile on my face.

Ironically I used to live in Chattanooga moving there from Florida. I know that WalMart, and after observing the "locals" for over 12 years I am (unfortunately) well versed in the ways of Skanks like this Pharmacy "Customer".

100% pure, self-entailed, ignorant, local, homegrown, trash.

A prime example of a primitive people born and bread in the "Deep South" trying to function in a society civilized above them.And if you have to unfortunate opportunity to even meet one. Make sure you do not look them in the eye, speak slowly and clearly and try to conform to there more "Primal" nature.

I bought a Walmart microwave oven and I accidentally broke the glass that goes in the bottom. Walmart does not have the replacement part.

What am I going to do with it now. It is brand new.

Why do INhave to wait? You maybe the customer but the pharmacist runs it and needs time to do their job. Maybe suck it up and grow a pair. Life isn’t about YOU!!!

There is at most a 15 min wait to 30 mins when the pharmacist goes on lunch. You KNOW you waited about 10 mins. Probably less but YOU expect the entire world to work like a webpage.

Customer Service

Walmart is a well-known company that demonstrates quality customer service. I've never had a problem with customer service until today.

I called Walmart regarding a pick up order I placed Thursday and spoke to a manager. The manager was rude and did not assist me in anyway instead he told me that it was not under his control and that he could not give me any information regarding my pickup order. The email says that the "credit card funds will be held until the order has been shipped and then you will receive a confirmation email". Well the funds have already been taken out of my account and I have not received a confirmation email.

It seems a little sketchy to me that money has been taken out of my account and I have no way of tracking the order nor can a manager help me with the order process. Very unsatisfied with the customer service I received today.

Why are you complaining about a store when you placed an order on-line? Follow up on your order on-line.

You'll have just as much luck walking into a Target store and asking them to check on this order. It's no more in a Walmarts store system than it is in Target's until it shows up at the store.

No one at store level has any info for online orders other than if the item is at the store or not. For any other info such as payment, processing , or shipping you have to call 1-800- walmart and talk to a rep from the web site. So don't get mad at someone who can't help you cause they have no way to get the info you want to know about.

Actually that is not true. I was an online pickup manager at Walmart for two years.

If the Item has been shipped, it will be in our system, but will show as not having arrived yet. We also receive reports every day, and as long as the item was shipped by UPS or FedEx, which most are, and not coming on a Walmart truck, we get a tracking number.

We can type that in on the FedEx website to see where the item is. Now for Payment, and Processing they have to call walmart.com unless the item is at the store, then they can issue a refund to the original payment method from the register.

Walmat Gift Cards a Scam

I tried to use a Walmart gift card to buy a metro ticket. The transaction declined but Walmart held the amount I was trying to use.

I found out I cannot recover the money until after two weeks. What if this is the only means of payment I had. Please don't buy this card. It is also a nightmare to register?

Just buy American Express. Very easy to use and they will not be trying to fleece you out of money like Walmart! I am sure there are a lot of people who purchase this card who throw it away out of frustration.

The I think it is part of business to boost revenue. American Express gift cards are very easy to use.

Free 2 day shipping ( It's been 10 days)

So I ordered some last minute things for my vacation. I choose to ordered them from Walmart because they said they would arrive 3 days from the order date with the free 2 day shipping. It has been 10 days so far. I leave for vacation tomorrow and my package isn't here yet. It is now scheduled to come while I'm gone. Don't fall for the tv commercials that claim free 2 day shipping with no membership. It is a scam to get you to order from them. They you are left hanging waiting for your package. I'm sure someone will probably steal it off my porch when it sits there for days. Thanks Walmart. Next time I will order from Target or Amazon.

I've experienced this as well. Sure they have free 2 Day shipping...

after they finally fill your order in 2-5, or however many days. When it's important to be on time I choose Amazon everytime....

when it's important to be cheeper - I choose Wal-Mart and wait lol.Sorry about it affecting your vacation. :(

I sent a TYPED letter WITH MY RETURN stating what I wanted done which was a bigger size sent to me!! Instead someone at your return facility CANNOT READ and I get an email saying you credited a Visa card.

However it was a pre-paid debit visa card that I bought specifically for that order. Once my order was placed I didn't think I would need the card again and the balance was zero so I through it away. Now you've credited a card I DO NOT HAVE for $16.94. I called today asking if you could transfer that balance on a Walmart gift card so at least I could use but was told you can't.

All of this could have been avoided if someone at your return center would have taken the time to read my letter!

Terrible customer service. Another reminder of why I very rarely shop at Walmart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweetie, return facilities don't work like that. You send the item back, they refund it. If you needed an exchange, you should have taken it back to the store.

Fake gold

I went to walmart and spent about 400 dollars on a supposed 10k chain, and a 10k ring for my girlfriend and i. We took it to a jeweler and come to find out it is 100 percent, not real. I am livid. I want to burn down that place, especially when they acted like they dont partake in such fraudulent activities. And it really isnt the floor crews fault. They just work there. So of course they dont know anything. I want to know who is responsible for putting fake gold out on the shelves, and sell it as real gold.

Did they tell you it is not real or did they tell you it is not 100% gold? 24K gold is solid gold while 10K gold is a mixture of about 41% gold and the remainder a mixture of other metals.

The mixture of other metals reduces the price of jewelry but in some ways can increase its durability.

You will find that as the karats in jewelry increase so does the percentage of gold. !8K jewelry would be 18 parts of gold with 6 parts of other metals.

I had a walmart credit card I never used. Unknown to me they added a monthly fee every month for a card never used.

To top it off they reported me delinquent for 120 day to credit score and I didnt even know about it. So much for a good credit score. I dont this should be legal and should be reimbursed. When a large company such as Walmart, customer service should be a must especially if they are promoting a credit card, which now carries the the label-SCAM.

I know they farm their card out but really? Really need more details...not enough words,,,must be a minimum of 100 words, if it isnt walmart now this
