Walmart in Bakersfield, California - $25 rebate on new credit card a joke...try to get it!

1.7
Details
I saw a $25 rebate if I spent $75 on purchase after getting a Walmart Credit Card. I did so, and when card arrived, went to local Walmart on Godford Road. Pete was rude, when I said I had the card, and wanted the $170.00 headphones on card, to get $25 rebate. he said I had to buy headphones and then try to get money back from Walmart. I called Master Charge and they said Walmart responsible for rebate, and Walmart said mastercharge responsible. Absolute runaround, which means I would not get rebate. Won't use card EVER, and won't use Walmart unless it is to my benefit, not theirs. Going to Target for same headphones. Goodbye *** Walmart...two electric cars for handicapped to use, and manager said they are TOO EXPENSIVE to buy more. Goodbye Walmart.

I like how six year olds post on this site and automatically mistake being told no as rude.

It's a $25.00 credit that you will get on your statement. The courtesy carts are expensive. Unfortunately, they are often abused by customers.

@Anonymous

Expensive, yes, $300)but Walmart makes billions that goes to their children. Why not more than two carts for those who could spend more money if able to walk?

Yes, they are abused, ridden by those who aren't handicapped and by children, and even stolen. But does Costco have a way to stop this that Walmart can't figure out? Costco has 15 carts and I spend my money there. I can't walk,so excuses by Walmart carry no water with me.

Two carts.

Come on, don't defend their lack of caring and cheapness. Do they not make money or are they a non-profit organization??

Not defending, just stating facts. In my opinion, they could and should get more carts.

Saving money at Target? That's funny right there!

Not for me. I have good luck with Target as they will natch any price.

But we all have our favorite stores. Nothing funny about that.

Walmart - Needs to hire more employees

they have twenty or more registers but only have four or five registers operating. Long lines and long wait time in lines. When a customer gets in line perhaps he she could pull a ticket with the time stamped on it and if customer waits in line more than twenty minutes then the items they purchase should be reduced by 50%. Another good idea I will call and let Wal mart know when I will be there and they can pay me to shop. This is truly the way I feel . I go very seldom and I dread it when I HAVE to go. Believe me I only go when absolutely necessary

Maybe if you have to wait that long, you should stop shopping there, I agree with the other poster you seem to have entitlement issues. They should not give you 50 percent off your total purchase just because you don`t have the brain power to figure out these lines look long perhaps I should go elsewhere.

You choose to stay in the line rather than shop else where so live with that decision. I know you are not a child but it is obvious from your attitude why the other poster mistook you for a child.

The person posting this is obviously a child since she cannot spell or user proper grammar so I hope she understands what I am about to post. If they hire more cashiers they have to pay them, that means mommy and daddy have to pay more for groceries and they have less to spend on you when you want candy or a toy, in the long run it may mean not going on vacation, so unless you want mommy and daddy to pay more learn to wait patiently.

You have entitlement issues and they should not pay you to shop there. I think if your parents had any common sense they would go at a time when the store is not busy, when you are in your first grade class for instance, however if they work in mornings like most people do then people will shop in evenings and the store will be packed. When you grow up you will know that low class discount stores generally attract a lot of customers, and therefore they are busy, next time you are bored in a long line ask your parents to tell you a story about when they were your age.

If you do not understand anything what I posted ask your parents to explain it to you. You did get their permission before posting this right.

Walmart in Charlotte, North Carolina - Rude sales person-treated me like a criminal or worse

3.0
Details
Went into Walmart in Leland, NC to purchase a camera. It was about 8:00 pm. but customers and a sales person were still in the dept. Inquired of the individual behind the photo counter about a camera. Clerk said she did not have a key, went to get someone. Another associate saw me hanging out around the cameras, asked if I needed help. Explained the other lady had gone for help, none had come. That lady came back a few minutes later and said the lady with the keys was trying to get free to help me, but kept getting tied up. I waited just a bit more and what I think was what they call a Customer Service Rep showed up. Lady had keys and wore a vest like maybe low level mgt. Well, when we began to converse it was obvious she did nit want to be there. She had a hand held device and the whole time she was texting or doing some kind of data entry on it. She broke from that to explain both the cameras (a Sony and Canon) were clearance (still had yellow price stickers, not red) and were the only ones, no box or anything. I said well OK, forget it since they are used cameras, no box and minimally marked down. I stepped a couple feet away over to the camera clearance case (where the official clearance items were) and saw an Olympus in the box with a decent markdown. She somewhat grudgingly let me look at it, ferried me across the back of the store several aisles to electronics to allow me with her watching to open the box and check out the camera. I told her "Look, I am not buying this yet, I need to see what it looks like and if it is OK" She watched me, I oKed the camera and said hey, I needed an SD card and Case, so she walked me back to cameras (several aisles over again) and watched me get a case. (I had already stepped over and picked up an SD card). Then when we went to check out where we had opened the camera was not where she wanted to check it out so she barked at me "You need to come to this side register", I gathered the camera and box and whatever else I had and followed her. She checked me out as I was telling her how hard it was to buy from Walmart and if I had been able to wait I would have bought this item on line. Walmart is doomed, thier failure and demise is assured with people like her. I will NEVER buy a camera at Walmart EVER AGAIN (and would not buy anything else there but they have put so many specialty stores out of business there is hardly anywhere else to go>

Seriously, you are making a big deal out if nothing. I really don't see anything in your complaint that should have made you mad.

You were not the only customer in the store but they got with you as soon as they could. They have to watch you while you are handling any secured device; any merchandise that is locked up on the sales floor due to high theft and price. And every cashier/associate cannot use every register all the time. Maybe the other register was already counted and closed or wasn't working.

How hard was it for you to walk ten or so feet to the other register. I think you were just cranky to begin with and are taking out out on the hard working associate.

I understand from your attitude and the fact that you cannot spell the simple word "not" that you are seven years old, however you should know if you are opening a box they will be watching you. Unless you were planning on stealing something you should have no problem with this.

Walmart in Waipahu, Hawaii - EXCHANGING MERCHANDISE WITHOUT A RECEIPT

My brother bought a $80 Boost Kyrocera cell phone from Walmart in Royal Kunia. Not even a week after, he finds that the phone is not working properly. He wants to exchange it but cant find his receipt. By calling in, my brother is told that he can exchange by knowing the purchase date & register he went to. He goes in with ease of mind & is helped by the same guy who gave info. Jack from Royal Kunia store teases my brother & tells him he can't return w/out receipt. Why did Jack waste my brothers time?

Next time have your brother give you the receipt of an expensive item since he is obviously too young to take care of his stuff, not only that he cannot even fight his own battles and write his own review, my guess is your brother is six years old?

Walmart in Clarksdale, Mississippi - Coupons

Hello, I went to Clarksdale, MS Wal-Mart on Sept.8,2014 and I was treated as if I was a criminal. I was embarrassed, in front of a lot people I had purchased my item the coupons worked for the items I don't see what was the problem. If the coupons don't work the coupons goes green on the screen. I will not shop there anymore. If items are already purchased do they suppose to take items back? This was the worst thing happen to in a public places. I do not think I had done anything wrong. The coupon worked for my items. The workers treated me unfairly.

You need to get mommy or daddy to read the coupon for you to see if it is valid, no need to throw a fit because they did not accept your invalid coupon.

Walmart Batteries are the WORST

I purchased 2 batteries within the 3 months 1 for my Z and one for the vette. They both take the same battery. I have replaced the one in the z 6 times. The one in the vette 5 times even upgraded to the champion series on both.... they are made the exact same as the everstart. At first the shop guy at walmart told me the battery tested good. So I asked to see the readout. He showed it to me, and we put the tester back on the battery about 10 minutes later and it had dropped about .9volts. So we did it again and it was down to 10volts. He took me to the back and showed me a little door with about 80 everstart batteries that they were sending back. Thats when I upgraded to champion. I have replaced each champion under warranty every 6 months. Finally I got a battery from batteries plus... and wow its been 2Plus years in the same car no issues at all. NEVER buy a nEVERSTART and stay clear of the repackaged nEVERSTART Chumpian batteries too.

When I worked there that is what I called their batteries nEverStart. I told customers you will reget buying these because I used a few and they *** out less than a year of use.

When they had a problem with them we would just recharge them and tell them the battery was fine as we were trained to do.

But in-fact their batteries were junk.

For now on I only use Farm and Fleet batteries. Those take a-lot abuse and still work great.

Walmart in Muskogee, Oklahoma - Pharmacy

I dropped off a prescription on 8/21/14 that had one refill left, which expired on 8/28/14. I went to the pharmacy and the drive thru several times to pickup. There was always a long line in both places. I sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes one day and never got to speak to a customer rep. I went into the store to pick up the prescription on 9/8/14. They informed me they had placed the medicine back on the shelf, because I did not pick up in a timely manner. They said they would refill. I came to pick up the medicine the next day. It was the wrong prescription. Then they preceded to tell me they could not refill the correct prescription because it had expired. I explained to the pharmacist the prescription had not expired when I dropped it off and asked where it was posted the customer had to pick up the prescription in so many days. She told me it was not posted but it was the law. How am I supposed to know what the "pharmacy law" is? This happened at the Walmart in Muskogee, OK. I am now changing to Walgreen's Pharmacy.

When I worked in a pharmacy we only kept un picked up prescriptions for 15 days before putting them back on the shelves. When you went to pick up your prescription it was expired.By law they cannot sell you a prescription that is expired. You need to contact your doctor for that or you can have your pharmacy fax your doctor but your doctor may say no or not even get back to us.This one is your bad.

Good luck with that. Word from my grandmother is that Walgreens isn't much better.

They also gave her the wrong prescription. It's THE law.

There's probably a reason that they have an expiration date, right?
