Non service dogs being allowed in store

Re: Haines City, FL store located on US27 8/21/2017 Again, while shopping in this store two different customers had non-service dogs in the store. One had the nerve to put a blanket in the cart & let the tiny thing roam around in the basket.

Another had a larger dog in a stroller. I , again, voiced my complaint about this & was told by one of the managers that they cannot go up and down the isles to check on this (but their employees can be seen wandering around the store & talking to each other). i have voiced my health concerns about this many times about infants & children being put in the shopping carts along with fresh produce and these carts are not cleaned. This is a major health issue!

This store used to have greeters at he doors, but not any more. I don't see non-service dogs in the Publix or Winn-Dixie stores in this area whenever I shop there & I am shopping at these stores more frequently. I will not shop at this store anymore even though it is only a mile from my house. I don't need WalMart.

Management, clean up your attitude - It is your responsibility to ensure a clean & safe animal free (except service dogs) store. I like dogs but they do not belong in grocery stores period!

I think that once every month Wal-Mart should have a "Nudist's Shopping Day" where all of the employees are nude and all of the customer can go shopping naked.

I am a huge animal lover. I have 7 dogs of my own.

However Wal-mart policy clearly prohibits people bringing there pets in the store. Not only that, it is also forbidden by the law. It doesn't matter if you're dog just had surgery. If that's the case.

Don't go shopping until you can leave the dog by itself.

It doesn't matter if some dogs are cleaner than some people. The fact of the matter is that it's illegal, and anybody who brings their pet into a walmart for any reason is wrong.

I would be more worried to catch something from half of you on this post or from half the people in Walmart then I would be from a dog or even a sick dog !! Are you guys not worried about a lot of people itching there own *** and touching something then not wanting it and you walk over and grab it least a dog is in the cart not doing nothing or touching nothing and like a said someone probably stuck there hand down there pants touched the cart and then you touched it you might want to worry about more possible stuff you could catch from people in Walmart then a dog

Tire service horrible

1 damaged tire under road hazard. 2 tires covered under 1/2 life wear warranty but tire was unavailable (6 ply) so they order same tires in 10 ply but only ordered 3. cant install a three 10 ply with one 6 ply. 1 1/2 weeks later. they order 3 new 6 ply amazing they are now available. wait past delivery date no tires call and they say they arrived. go back to store and they say they didn't arrive. next day they will call. next day no call but I stop in and the guy laughs and said the tires were there yesterday. then he really pissed me off when he said the women that work there don't know what they are doing (I guess it was OK because I'm a fellow man) WRONG. he was the one that didn't know what he was doing. He was the one that said the tires weren't in the day prior. He is also the one that charged me a road hazard warranty on 4 tires knowing I only bought 3. Then to top it all they lost a center cap for one wheel. Brought this to their attention to be informed it must have fallen off after the service. I have requested they pull the video to show they forgot to put it on. I wont hold my breath. on the video. Awful salads! PLEASE bring back Dole

Some time ago I noticed that Wal Mart no longer carries Dole salads and have replaced them with their own brand. I have purchased the store brand several times, trying various kinds each time but they are just awful! The smell when you open the bag is 'compost heap', the dressings in the kits are gross, gelatinous goo. I gave it the old college try as I really want to eat healthy and try to put salad in almost every meal but I find that I often go to other stores for my groceries now just so that I can get a decent salad. Between the consistent low quality and history of recalls, Wal Mart really needs to give up on the Marketside produce label. Feed that stuff to the pigs and go back to Dole salads!

Ripoff starts before purchase, and walmart doesn't care

Christmas a joyous time of year, but scoorge (walmart) has taken the fun out. My son asked what do you wanted for Christmas I said a gift card from walmart. I planned on working on my garden come Jan. The card was puchased placed in a card sealed and lovenly placed under the tree. I opened my presents and very happy with 50.00 gift card from walmart. First week of Jan i take my card, my list, and my excitement to the store, my cart was well over 50.00 but had evetything i wanted. Rang up handed my card to the clerk and nothing it was empty. I called the number on the back was informed the card was bought on the 22nd and used on the 23rd. I took and called the store and was told buyer be ware. They viewed the tape, watched the purchase, they've seen the thief and Im still out my card. I think their customer service toward this problem is apalling. I will never buy a gift card from walmart again. Also i was told there was a scam online with people checking the balance yet nothing no notice on the media given. I didn't buy anything that i needed from walmart everything for my garden was now purchased from Home Depot.

I'm sorry that that happened to you, but you without the card you can only use it if the numbers have been revealed by scratching the silver strip off of the back, and use said numbers. Was the strip scratched off before purchase?

If so, it shouldn't have been purchased. If you say it has not been, I think we are not getting the rest of the story.

Ever start 1200amp jump box used once garbage

So about two months ago I purchased 1200amp ever start jump box worked great. Charged it up and stored it.

Now tried to use it today won’t turn on no buttons work and won’t charge up. I called Wal-Mart and asked them for exchange policy. They told me without my receipt they don’t do returns. I said are u serious I just dropped 2000+ on Christmas.

I’m not asking for my money back I just want to exchange it. The manager at south Windsor ct.

told me if I have a problem contact the manufacturer we don’t do exchanges without receipts anymore. I hung up on her my next step it contacting the local news channel.

If I can give advice to anyone thinking of giving a Walmart gift card: Don't do it. I bought a card for a Xmas gift for my son. It was under $250 (the amount you need to activate it on your own is $250 up). He went to use it. It was not activated. I called them. Threw a fit. I was informed it would take 48 hours to activate. I was not happy with that. So, I ge an email two days later informing me the card was now activated. No reason given as to why it was never activated in the first place. So, my son went to use it the send time. You guessed it. It wasn't activated. I threw another fit. I demanded a refund. I wasn't going through that again. I have not received my refund yet, and I better. Soon. Or I'll call my Visa card. No reason was ever given to me why they never activated my card. Very upsetting. Never shopping at Walmart again. Lost my business. They don't care about their customers.

That doesn't sound like a Walmart gift card. I've certainly never heard of that, ours are activated as soon as payment goes through.

Maybe it was a visa prepaid card, with a Walmart logo, which is through a third party bank. I'm going to guess that you didn't keep your receipt either, which would've helped investigate any activation issues.

You will usually get more compassion and better service if you act like a reasonable adult.

Walmart's Photo Labs A Disaster - Avoid

They took a huge price increase and decreased the quality of the photos. Machines break down a lot and Walmart does not compensate for your time, just an "oh well" type of attitude and they keep the same bad machinery. The paper the prints are on is so thin now that the corners of the photos can bend when they put them into the envelopes. The photos do not look as sharp as they used to. The envelopes need more white space to write about the contents of the photos, not have sell copy for more of their stuff. Walmart no longer accepts competitive coupons. You are better off to wait for Walgreens, Target, Rite Aid, CVS, etc. to come out with their coupons for as little as 9 cents a print (more than 50% - 75% less than Walmart) and go there for your prints and other photo lab needs. I am (now, was) a large customer who was provided with discounted pricing, and they reneged on that perhaps thinking I would now pay full price. Instead, I gave all that business to competitors. This cost them thousands of dollars.The photo lab staff at Walmart is hit and miss, sometimes very good, sometimes not, and many times not there at all. Walmart used to be a lot better. It's obviously all about the money with these people now, NOT the customer's satisfaction. The management I spoke to about my issues were customer unfriendly, so I went over their heads. If you suspect or have any Ethics issues with Walmart, they refer you to an "outside" Ethics group, but guess what? They then refer all the unethical issues back to Walmart corporate, so you have the fox guarding the chicken coop. There needs to be an INDEPENDENT review board in such cases. Again, this is all about how the company can save money at the customer's expense, and they can do whatever they please. As a customer, however, you have the right to choose and complain as needed. And you should. I no longer do my grocery or any other shopping at Walmart, either. Way too corporate now. What would folksy and fair Sam Walton say???

Marketside French Beans

Walmart - Marketside French Beans

On Friday, August 25, I went to Walmart to do my weekly grocery shopping. The Marketside French Beans looked fantastic so I bought some to use that weekend.

Imagine my dismay when I opened the bag on Sunday, August 27, to see the beans covered in brown splodges and I had to throw them away. The "use by" date on the bag was 9-02-17. The green plastic bag had successfully disguised the look of the beans inside.

Needless to say, I will not rush to purchase a Marketside product any time soon. A photo of the beans is attached so that you may see the brown splodges on the beans.

I love fresh green beans, but I make sure to eat them quickly or store them in a vacuumed sealed bag, as they start to get funky after a day or two. Walmart veggies and fruit are ok but you got to look closely.

We grow green beans and those brown splotches as you call them are 100% normal. The only way to avoid that is to eat them or freeze them the day they come out of the ground. You unfortunately threw away completely good food.

You can take them back to Walmart, assuming you have your receipt. The question remains, tho as to why anyone would think the food at Walmart is that great to begin with.

Sorry, but the providers of a public restroom are responsible for it's maintenance and cleanliness, even if their customers are the ones making it "nasty". The public is well known to be unwilling/unable to clean up after themselves, and it's just another cost of doing business with the public.

Frankly, when I was in the business of cleaning this kind of facility, it was (surprisingly) the woman's restroom that was consistently the worst in terms of absolute nastiness. We cleaned our restrooms twice a day (full clean), and checked it once an hour, as the owner was somewhat of a throwback to the era when service stations actually provided service.

Delete Savings Catcher app from your devices and stop shopping at WalMart!

I've now lost over $30.00 that was in my WalMart Savings Catcher account. Every time I send an email to WalMart Customer Service about the money disappearing from my account, I get no response.

I doubt I'll ever get reimbursed and I still have no explanation from WalMart why the money keeps disappearing out of my account. I've now stopped shopping at WalMart - it's worth the few extra cents to shop someplace more honest. Perhaps WalMart should spend some money securing their Savings Catcher app.

No surprise that the Walton family appears on Forbes Richest People list every year! Do yourself a favor, delete the app from your devices and shop someplace else!

Someone in California keeps taking my refund money they added their own credit card and Gift card. This has happened twice.

I talked to care team and they say it will take 5 weeks to get the money back. If I get it back they will only do this again.

I ask that they delete the persons credit card from my site, but of course that hasn't been done. There is to much fraud going on here.

My Savings Catcher balance just disappeared one day toward the end of the year and I have no idea how to retrieve it. I never got an email e-gift card.

I didn't have a lot in it, only about $20.00 but it's gone - off into cyber space I guess or that big Walmart in the sky!

My current savings balance is $1.78. Big Whoop!

This is happening to a lot of people, and I feel like Walmart has been a little remiss in informing people how it works now.

Savings are automatically redeemed to Walmart Pay as a gift card.

If you go into the Redeem section you should see the Walmart pay option. If you click on that, you should see the option to add a credit card, or view gift card balance.

It should be in there.

When you want to use it, just open Walmart pay, cashier hits corresponding button, and it automatically *** the gift card balance from your transaction.

They've sent emails and there's a notification when you open the app. Just because some people don't see it doesn't mean Walmart didn't notify them.

I ordered an item from Walmart.com. It was promised 12/21. It never came. I contacted them on 12/24 trying to find the item. I was told they gave my order to a 3rd party company so they are not responsible anymore. I needed to take it up with the 3rd party they gave it too. I complained a lot and all they did was give me $5 for my trouble that did not work when I tried to use it. It's now 1/3 and I still don't have the product I ordered and they refuse to do anything about it. What a sorry company. All they had to do was make it right. Re-order the part and send it to me. I asked for compensation and did not get anything. I ordered several items from Amazon and Target an all of them came in on time or before. The only item I ordered from Walmart is still lost in the mail and they will not accept responsibility for it.

Walmart does not guarantee 3rd party sellers. Were on our own there.

I've been burnt on this ONCE on WM. Check the 'Walmart.com' only checkbox when ordering online from the Walmart web site.

Black Friday Scam

So Wal-Mart advertised the new iPhone 8 on Black Friday. Buy a new iPhone 8 and receive a three hundred dollar Wal-Mart gift card!

Sweet deal right? Well as it turns out not a single store in Topeka, Ks. had any in stock! So after getting up, buying other stuff that I probably wouldn’t have had I not already been there, and waiting in line, I was told none in stock and they weren’t doing anything for any of the customers that were waiting!

An entire room full of people left pissed! So long Wal-Mart! Never again!

If they can waste customers vacation time with no remorse then I will shop elsewhere from now on. It’s no wonder everyone is buying online these days.

Seems that Walmart is trying to compete with Amazon and is offering items for sale..that are not sold by Walmart, but by their "third parties"..I ordered and item almost 10 days ago..spent extra on "EXPRESS" delivery to guarantee a delivery date..The item never showed up, only to find out it was delivered, at my cost, to an entirely different state , across the country! After hours of chatting, calling, and trying to resolve the problem..Walmart could only offer a refund and said they would investigate.

I think i am even more upset that Walmart, as well as in my own research, had a contact phone number which was non-working. I even tried to research the company ( in NC) and they don't even exist!

I blame WALMART for deceiving their customers, that they are first involved with with their third party retailers, and NOT their own stores, who are not researched nor reputable, Buyers Beware! don't deal with Walmart on-line..they can't come close to the efficiency of Amazon..

Well, they do apply disclaimers if the item is sold by a third party. All the same, I do agree that Walmart should be taking closer looks at what's being sold and by whom.

There's no reason they should be allowing un-reputable businesses selling goods on their website.

Much like Amazon, I prefer to purchase goods fulfilled by Amazon rather than other parties. That, and it guarantees Prime delivery.

Still, it's a good practice I prefer to follow. Otherwise, it's a risk.

Buying 3rd party on WM is the absolute worst. I've has a bad experience also, and will never do it again.

When purchasing online at WM, make sure the 'walmart.com' is checked so the 3rd party sellers do not show up.

WM has a good return policy, but not for purchasing from 3rd party sellers. (in my opinion)

Your manager cheated me out of $41.00 plus tax

Wal-Mart just cheated us out of $41.00 plus tax. I bought a security system on Thanksgiving Day for $150.00 plus tax as a Christmas Gift for my husband.

It was impossible to install so we decided to go ahead and return the system. Sadly I could not locate the receipt on Saturday and they would only exchange something from the electronics department but only in the amount of $109.00. We told them we had paid $150.00 and they said they sold it for $109.00 as a black Friday deal. Today I found the receipt and my husband took it to the store and the manager said he would not honor the receipt.

So I feel we have no recourse but to write a bad review. This is the Wal-Mart in Winston-Salem, NC on Stafford Village

People need to learn to keep track of their receipts. This isn't different than what most stores do.

If you don't have your receipt you have the choice of going home and getting it or being given credit for the lowest sale price. If you didn't like the price they offered you should have gone home and looked a little harder for the receipt.

Whatever the case may be. But they shouldn’t treat a person that brings something back to the store with no receipt a thef. Yea people do steal from stores and try to bring stuff back and it’s not right. But not everyone does that.

Have proof before you treat someone as a thef. Doing such could get ya hurt.

You are correct, receipts do get lost or thrown away, however only people who have paid for merchandise will have a receipt. To protect themselves from thieves and to be able to for something to their honest customers they offer store credit at the lowest sale price.

The alternative would be refusing to take anything back without a receipt. I think most people would rather accept the credit rather than being stuck with something they don't want or need. There is also the situation of people who would purchase products on sale and return them without a receipt for full price credit when they went off sale. Your receipt shows what you paid for it and what amount you should get back.

How else are you going to prove what you paid for a product, if you paid for it at all? I would bet you have never worked in retail and have absolutely no idea of what people will try to scam a store.

I'm sorry that happened, but you should've gone through your house for the receipt before accepting the wrong price. Once the transaction is completed there is nothing they can do.

I know this feels unfair to you, but we see dozens of scammers, PER DAY, in our store. We can't accept a price that you had paid WITHOUT PROOF, otherwise everyone would return socks without receipt and say the paid $46.99 for them (just shy of the 50 no receipt limit) I'm really surprised they accepted the return of the item in the first place, as there is usually a $50 limit, and they usually don't make exceptions if it's electronics, as they will have to eat the cost when you don't have proof of purchase, so thinking more about it, you SHOULD BE GRATEFUL!
