Service at WalMart in Mount Olive, nc

I called Walmart that morning and they told me they had the tires I wanted I asked them to hold them. I got off work 1 hr early so I could get there early enough that they wouldn't have to work over. I stand at the desk for around 15 minutes before anyone comes out to assist me and two other customers. At 5:15 they told me it would be ready by 6pm. I went to shop in the store at 5:50 they paged me to come back to the tire dept. They proceed to tell me they can't lift my care because of the way it is made underneath. It is a Mazda Tribute. They said the manager knew how to do it but he was not there. I asked them could they just use regular jacks and he said he could in the front but didn't see anywhere in the back that he could do it. Why did it take them 35 minutes to figure out they could not jack my car up and why has the manager not trained them all? This is very poor customer service.

Walmart in Chicago, Illinois - Thanks their lawyers for making this NOT bait and switch

Was "window shopping" online and found a LED TV that did what I needed so I ordered it on WALMART.COM and selected the "pick up in store" because a store next to me had the inventory - great I could get my new TV in the morning. When I got to the store I was informed that WALMART.COM had cancelled and refunded my order because of inventory discrepancy - fine, would have been nice if I had known that before driving 1/2 hour, but fine, grabbed my phone and found 3 other locations that have inventory availability. Drove to them and on the 3rd one found one that had associates who were willing to actually look for the product "in the back" - - guess I picked the week when they were redoing their LED display wall so no one really knew where items were at the moment. An associate came up with my model on a cart (I had shown them the WALMART.COM site so we could confirm model numbers), I finished some other shopping and checked out. Now, granted I should have read down, line by line, the entire length of my receipt, but I was in a rush to get home. Later that night I did, and discovered I was charged 80.00 more than the price listed on line. When I came back to the store the next day the customer service associate, her immediate supervisor, and eventually the assistant store manager were all just annoyed that I couldn't take "NO" for an answer when they explained: 1) prices displayed on line should never be taken as prices for things AT walmart retail locations 2) the ".com" is a separate company ( guess that shares trucks, associates, logos, and corporate governance) and WALMART retail refuses to price match to itself - I'm still scratching my head on that one 3) I should have known the prices were different 4) If I don't like it I'm free to return the TV I have for a refund and re-order from WALMART.COM (which of course will be stocked out of the back room of the store I was just at) 5) and by the looks on all their faces it was "please go away now" SO - word to the wise - don't believe anything you're presented on WALMART.COM . . just save yourself time and shop AMAZON if you're online or go to some other big box if you're not - there are plenty others to choose from that actually want to be straight with their customers.

Walmart in Long Beach, California - Customer support

4/18 I had purchased my router from Walmart for 40 bucks which was the N300. When I got to my apartment I opened it up and set it up, and it did not work. I contacted customer support and was transferred to three different people. When I talked to the first person, she got us to do the remote assistance and requested permission to do certain tasks, which was good. Then we were transferred to two other guys. The two other guys were unhelpful and sold us bogus information. They told us that the computer HAD TO BE CLEARED of VIRUSES and had to install 130$ anti virus software to clean the computer (this computer was BRAND NEW). We knew it wasn't the internet connection because it was working perfectly fine on the modem. When we were transferred around the other two individuals were able to continue using the remote assistance. The 2nd individual recommended (and made a list on notepad and continuing to scroll the CMD prompt) about what to do. We knew that installing virus software in order for wireless routers was bogus. So they transferred us to a supervisor and as we talked to the supervisor he continued to scribble on the notepad as he opened it up and talked to us (still using the remote assistance). The supervisor then opened up THE WEBCAM and started FILMING us and I had enough and unplugged the internet. This person was unauthorized to use the webcam and continued to do so anyway (basically did not ask for permission).

Walmart in Ripon, Wisconsin - Couldn't even get dept manager to call me back

I was in the Shawano,WI store and not once but twice I couldn'tget help in the fabric dept. Both times the employee waited on someone else, finished then walked away. I do dress differentlyI only wear dresses and I'm sure I get mistaken for a religious group here in town (that's not well liked) I complained and the dept manager did call me, I missed his call, I called back and left a message and was told he would call me later that dayThis was Feb never heard from him. I guess customers don'tReally matter.
