Cheese Review

I purchased Velvet ta cheese on July 1st. It was 6.88 for 2 pound box. I called Kraft Cheese and they told me that they sold it to Wal Mart for 4.34. That is a ridiculous markup. Wal Mart NOT cheaper. It was 4.97 at another local grocery store

Walmart - Money Gram Review

My boyfriend had asked me to attempt to pick up a money gram for him. He wasn't sure if it was under my name or his name, so he thought it would be worth a try. I get in line, fill out all the information and answer the security question correctly. Instead of telling me that the money gram is under his name and that I can't pick up the money gram, she tells me that what I am trying to do is fraud and threatens to call the police. Even though she watched me speak with my boyfriend on the phone. Extremely ununhappy with Walmart right now.

Bought rib-eye, chichkem and pork chops and ad did not match exactly. They refused the discount.

In my opinion, the Ad Match is a bait and switch fraud because the ad has to match exactly the product you are buying. All Wal-Mart has to do is change one word on their product label and the ad doesn't match even though it's the same exact product. Also, they disallow Buy 1 Get 1 Free ads. Why is that? The Ad- Match program at Wal Mart should be done away with because it is not a true ad-match. It is designed to get you into the store, put the product in your cart and when the discount is denied, rather than complain, most people will just give up. Not me, I'm pissed because I feel used, cheated and ripped-off.

Agreed, notgivingit. Anytime a store does ad match it has to be for the exact same item.

Even if it's a matter of color you can't take an ad for an item in blue or yellow and expect to get the red.

All 3 may be 'the same item' but obviously two colors aren't selling well and that is why they are on sale. Same with everything else.

#835972

uh of course the ad has to match that's the whole point of the sale numbnuts. obviously you don't do a lot of shopping on your own or you'd have figured this out.

I Wanted my money back!

I bought a Blu Studio 5.0 on Walmart website for about $130. Later on before 30 after ppurchasing the phone I payed $20 extra for extended warranty. I had it for 4-5 months and very pleased with the phone. But I decided that if I claim a file on the phone ill get my money back and have enough to buy a cheaper phone with extra money for school supplies. I called customer care and they asked me the reciept number and how much I payed for my phone and what happen, I told them the sound was cutting off and it had a little crack. They accepted my request and told me to ship the phone to them via ups with the label they provided me. They said after I ship the phone they will send me a gift card by MAIL. But after 2 days that I shipped it I check my email and get a E-GIFT card. I didnt ask for a egift card but I figured out that you can print it and just use it like a card at a store so it wasnt big of a problem for me. :) ps. I payed around $130 in total for the phone and I had said I payed a total of $147 and they gave me $147+tax which equal to $160.32 :)

Read your warranty agreement. It says Walmart will reimburse you/repair/replace the item in question.

The egift card of course is meant to be your reimbursement.

You were given the value of the phone by Walmart to buy a new phone. Go figure they aren't going to give you cash back to buy something else at another store.

#836213

That's what you get for trying to take advantage.

Standing in line.

This Walmart in sylacauga Alabama is by far the worst Walmart I have ever been to. The parking lot looks like a dump and the inside isn't much better. The lines are crazy long and that's because there are only 5 of the 30 registers open and this is on the 3rd of July, probably one of the busiest days of the year other than Christmas. Me and my family dread going here and avoid it ever chance we can. We stood in line for a half hour and gave up and left the buggy there. We waisted 2 hours of our time going to this one. Won't make that mistake again.

Walmart - Alcohol Purchase Review

I was trying to buy beer. I gave I'd that proves I'm 29. But they refused to sell it to me cause my 42 year old husband didn't have ID. He looks his age. We bought alcohol the previous week only I had to provide id as I was the buyer. Felicia was the manager who absolutely refused. I understand their need to card so underage people aren't drinking but we are way past that age group and I had my 7 year old with us. Just something for adults for a cookout for the 4th and they took it in a bad direction. Their apologies were far from being sincere. I will be going to Kmart from now on.

That's a bit over the top if he actually looks his age--however, if your husband is 42 years old he should have some form of identification on him anyways..

#839762
@PissedConsumer839667

Hey if he were using *** he could be 13 and look 42, and if he behaved the same way as the wife when asked for ID, they probably thought he only looked 42 because he was a *** user and could not sell. His behavior would show make them believe that not only is he 13 years old but a *** user as well.

@PissedConsumer839762

lol this guy is a genius

#839040

Kmart will do the same thing since it is probably state law.

#836316

Even liquor stores follow this policy. If anyone in the party does not have ID to prove they are 21 the store will not sell it to them. The liquor store in question where I was simply had my wife step outside and then sell me the alcohol, not sure if Walmart would let you do this, but this is not an isolated incident and I am pretty sure it will happen at Kmart as well.

#836212

Kmart will do the same thing since the store was following THE LAW. Then again they could have thought you had fake id and were underaged because of your childish behavior.

#835809

It is the cashier's right to card everyone in the party. If your husband is overage then he should have no problem presenting id.

You both sound very immature for your age group. I'm glad I don't shop at kmart ('cause they stink) so I won't run into you.

No one seems to want to help at WalMart at the Cary SuperCenter

Thought I was getting information from a manager - but the person I spoke to was apparently not a manager. How was I to know?? The person who gave me the information I was seeking didn't say blah, blah, blah but I am not a manager. The people who work in the electronics department at the WalMart Cary SuperCenter are lackadaisical and unresponsive to a customer's needs. It is too bad that the folks that live in Cary, NC don't have many options except for the Cary SuperCenter. Re: clothes - if you want to buy something-just keep looking and looking and get it yourself or keep asking and asking. The managers at the SuperCenter are extremely authoritative and rude. But, as I said unfortunately the folks in Cary, NC don't have much of a choice. I think this is what you call a monopoly. Also, if you telephone the Cary SuperCenter employees are only allowed to give their first name.

Did you ask for a manager? Plus, if you can't tell the difference between a manager and an associate, then you clearly aren't the brightest crayon in the box, are you?

Second, associates at any store are not allowed to give their last names. Their last name is of no concern to you.

#835815

It's silly to think that everyone you talk to is going to say blah blah blah I'm not a manager. Next time try looking at their name tag where a job title is clearly identified.

Also, managers dress very differently from the rest of the staff. And, it is up to the associate whether or not they want to give their last name. Really there is no reason anyone should need it as associates can be identified by their first name and work area. Personally I would never give my last name to anyone at work because its no ones business, especially over the phone.

For all they know you are their long lost stalker. There is such a thing ad privacy.

Walmart Gift Card Review

Today I received a green flyer when picking up a prescription for a $5 gift card for completing a survey. Online it kept directing me to do other surveys, so instead of computer I tried using my smart phone. They said there that this survey was closed, after I finally completed the right survey with proper validation code. Quit wasting your customers' time with bogus surveys!

30 Minute Wait at an Empty Counter

I recently went to a local Walmart establishment, expecting the kind of service that I normally receive. As I walked up to the Outdoors Counter, interested in purchasing a knife for use at my workplace, I noticed that the fellow behind the counter was going off to help someone else. I understood that the other customer was there first, so I did the right thing and waited. As I saw the other customer return with the product he wanted, I expected the fellow who was assisting him to come back and assist me. No one returned. Being in he retail business myself, I understand what it's like to have a customer pull you aside and ask a question about something while you're heading back to your post. I did not expect to be waiting for 30 minutes in the same spot. While this wouldn't have been too much of an issue for me, the biggest annoyance to me was that about three other Walmart employees passed me without so much as offering a greeting. I was clearly examining the different knives, two of which I was interested in purchasing. While I know 50 dollars is meaningless to Walmart corporate, the fact that they're able to turn down money and that their employees seen to lack the most basic customer service skills and are still being paid to work in that field, completely blows my mind. I was also planning on grabbing some lunch from the Subway they had within its walls, but after my experience, why should I bother to give an establishment money for such ***-poor service? After 30 minutes of waiting at a counter with no one else present and being ignored by three employees, one of whom was dressed as a manager, I said screw it. I'm not about to pay these miserable bastards my hard-earned money. I'm leaving and I promise you, unless it's to visit the pharmacy, who actually DO their job and TREAT you like a customer should be treated, I will NOT be purchasing anything from this store again.

If you are old enough to work, I am pretty sure you are old enough to ask one of those three employees that passed you for help. You don't need mommy to do that for you do you?

I agree none of the employees are mind readers, how are they to know that you would not blow up on them if they asked you if you needed help. Some people don't like when they ask if they need help because they want to shop in peace.

#835864

Learn to speak up and politely ask for help. The other associates probably did not work in that area and had other things going on, but if you had simply got their attention and asked to see a knife I'm sure they would have found you some help.

Walmart associates are not mind readers. Sometimes you have to help them to help you.

Unable to return or trade in DVD player

Son bought a Phillips 7" DVD player on june 9,2014 for birthday gift. I wanted a 9-10" screen so went to walmart to exchange or refund (didn't make a difference to me) on july 2,2014 less than 30 days. I had the reciept and the box was unopened but was told that they did not exchange or refund electronics after 15 days. Well it's not written on the reciept and my son said no one said anything to him about not being able to trade it in after 15 days. I won't be buying any electronic in the future from walmart! And I will pass the word on to all I know about this *** policy.

Refusal of service

Deliberately bad service at the auto center in Wauseon,Ohio. Totally unprofessional and backwards country bumpkin service! I have always been a good customer to Walmart before yesterday when I came to Walmart to get a new tire on my truck. The tire that I had on was a spare that was in bad shape and I needed a new one put onto my main rim. The spare was going flat but he didn't care. He just told his service tech to throw some air into it, so he did. The man went to look at my truck and he asked me why it was leaning a little. I told him its nothing to worry about ,please just mount and put on my new tire onto my main rim that I had in my truck bed because this spare is dangerous to drive on and I have my kids in the car with me. I was planning to have the lean repaired, but he refused to jack it up and only mounted my tire. He said this is a liability for us very nervously. I said to him ,"what is the matter with you people!? This is a liability to me."I told him that I am just asking you to put it on because I only have a scissor jack and it will be tough to get off and the spare is bad, but he kept insisting it was a liability to them. Even the manager came in and weirdly stared me down for about 5 minutes not saying anything. So I left without saying thanks and I was really upset. I only drove about 2 miles and my spare blew out on a busy road so I had to call my friend, he came out and helped with change it laying halfway in the roadway because we couldn't jack it up in the grass. I had to direct traffic around him due to where we were. I nor none of my friends or family will ever go back there again!!

I went to wauseon Walmart today.. I bought a CD and when I opened it the disc was slit.and the manager had the gull to excuse me if doing it.

I shop there a lot they get a lot of my business.

I'm about to not even shop there anymore .. They are rude, obnoxious, & have no respect for any of the customers ....

#835115

So, your truck is broken. You should probably get it fixed if it's in that poor of shape. You still drive your kids around and that could be even more dangerous than a spare tire. Maybe a little upkeep would do you some good.
