Walmart passes delivery off to Pilot Freight- BAD GUYS

On April 24th I ordered patio furniture online from Walmart. They proudly explain that someone from Pilot Freight would call within two business days.

We never got a call. But discovered on April 26 and 27 Pilot was reporting to Walmart (and posting on Pilot's service web-site) that they called and "no answer". Wrong, didn't happen. Finally, on May 1, 7 days after the order, I discovered the "no answer" game.

We live 40 miles from Pilot's warehouse, so they only deliver two days a week.... first opportunity is now 10 days after we placed the order. That is 2 days after the open house of our new remodel. Never once did Walmart's process indicate it could take that long.

And nowhere on their "customer service" phone tree or on-line drop downs do they allow a choice to inform them of poor freight process. Walmart wants to play in the Amazon, Lowes, Home Depo world and don't have a clue. Just deliver for pick up at your store, we live 2 miles from one.

I am a frequent shopper at Walmart, my husband and I were looking at some Potting soil in the parking lot section that is blocked off for all the spring garden supply's, a nice gentleman that worked for Walmart came to us and said to purchase the soil take a bag into the store and let the cashier ring us up for as many bags as we want with that one bag then he went and got us a cart to load the bag of soil on and said he would help us load all of it, we took the cart inside the store with the one bag of soil.....it was kinda far from the parking lot to the cash register... when we got to the register the nursery Manager" Sean" approached us to help us....I ask him if I could leave the cart with the soil in it in the corner while I ran into the grocery section to purchase a few items Sean said in a hateful tone well he preferred not that I was suppose to get the name of the product and not bring it into the store that they had the SKU # there at the register...I told Sean that the man outside that was helping us said to bring one bag with us...he said what man describe him to me im going to have to have a talk with him he wasn't suppose to tell you that... Sean's tone was angry and upset me very much...I hurried and got my few items from the grocery section and went to the register to purchase my soil and other items when I walked out the door the nice man apologized to me and said he gave me the wrong information...so while I was shopping Sean got on to this nice gentleman who was trying to help me...I was so upset at the words and tone of Sean I was still upset when I got home...In short Sean is an *** and I will not purchase anything from his department again!!! The Walmart store address is 9101 N. Tarrant Pkwy. North Richland Hills Tx.76182 I only got Sean's first name because the lady I ask that worked there didn't know what his last name was

in my opinion it was my business to put my 2 cents in when he told me what he was going to do to his employee in the angry tone he used, the said employee apologized to me as I was leaving the store I did not need an apology from him he did nothing wrong in my opinion he was an extremely nice man. As far as spilling soil all through Walmart there is other products all throughout the store that can be spilled also, and yes I know that it would have been that managers responsibility to have it cleaned up...You MR ANONYMOUS are a waste of my time I don't even know why I am even trying to explain myself to you...

I left a bag at the checkout when I called to see if they still had it i just kept getting routed back to the operator because nobody in costumer service would answer. What are these people foing because it surely is NOT taking care of costumers. More than 20 minutes on hild and still haven't talked to them.

Dairy pallets left out for hours on salesfloor

I stopped shopping im the turlock ca store neighborhood market i believe the manager is abel. I have shopped several times and each time i have visitted the store there are pallets of dairy sitting on the salesfloor blocking the aisles for hour or two. Im no expert but thats unsafe for consuption. The floors are filthy. I overheard one evening their ovwrnight people complaining about having no jacks and that their machine joe hasnt worked in a year. Wow to hear unhappy people due to a manager that doesnt care. And some female assistant always with an attitude very disaapointed i am. I used to tell people to shop there not anymore. I might be one voice but i hope it helps in the future for tbe people thats need the job and the company standards to get better. Some kid named joey wow if hes a manager i can be one has no respect for his people either btw. He was laughing bc he was going on vacation and had denied his people theirs bc he said he was management. Theae are the things you hear on the floor no respect for people..

I had been receiving donated bags and cans of animal food and litter.I run a small Animal Shelter here on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation.I had been getting foods for my animals and then all of a sudden they changed their attitudes towards me.And the Claims manager comes screaming out at me that she will never give me any donations ever again.Nice Customer service.I complained to the manager and corperate . I never heard a word from them.I contacted my State Senator because of this kind of treatment in My Home State by an out of State company.I was asked to bring in a 501(3) paper.I did that,.I was asked to bring in a new EIN number I did that.They had every excuse not to help me and then someone was always gone or the manager of the Store In Billings Montana on Kings Street never called back.I was told that they give this food stuffs to a "company".But I heard the claims manager say she had to call the Cat Sanctuary in Billings to come and get their food and donations.This because I am Native American?Disabled?Married to a Vietnam Veteran?Yeah I am all those.But I am not a liar...

Her last sentence ASSuming that it was discrimination shows how uneducated this person is. This incident has nothing to do with their being Native American, disabled or married to a Veteran.

Bagging groceries

I'm not picky how things are bagged but today I found strawberries underneath hamburger. You bag meat separate. I found my tomatoes with canned goods. Cold foods in with paper products etc. Maybe the checker was in a hurry because as always only 2 check stands were open. Train your people better.

I didn't do a review back at the holiday time but after tonight I will start with that one first. It was late at night 11ish?

One register got opened up and the nice gentlemen rang all my groceries up. He gets done to find out he has no cash drawer. The mgr, I assume was walking across the front and telling 3 girls things they were running into each other...The one was bringing out cash drawers. The guy ringing me said to him, " I need a cash drawer please." He says ,"OK." So a girl is now putting one in another register, she walks bk several times bringing out other cash drawers to registers no one was standing in.

I'm being patient waiting on my change while ppl behind are wondering what's happening because they were in the only lane open at the time. After so long I said, " Excuse me...He needs a drawer."in a nice tone although I wasn't at this point feeling nice so I watched how I spoke. It didn't make sense to me to continue and not give him one. So as I say this to the mgr walking bk and forth he's on his walkie talkie or something and says VERY nasty ( as if I wasn't patient...He saw how long I had waited) "OOOK I SAID #8 didn't i !??!" First off I'm not looking at the # lane I'm in nor do I know what you're talking about on there...Needless to say he was stressed, I guess ...but there was no need to snap me off like that especially since I was nice to him.

I felt bad for the cashier and he was in amazement as well watching the cash drawers go by. There seems to always be 4-7 ppl standing up front socializing and laughing. what are they being paid for? This is a regular occurrence.

One night they acted as if they all didn't know what to do so the girl on the 15 or less register rang all my groceries. That wasn't fair to others that walked up. If you're paying them open a register or two or three. They stay up front so they're not working the other areas.

Tonight I go in late as usual about 8:30 no one talks at the door anymore. I've said Hi and I just get looked at. Ok. The girl at the deli counter was very nice.

I do my shopping and end up front around 9:30ish 4 girls are standing at one register carrying on. I said, "Are you open?" Two of them looked at me & said nothing. I ask again...The one girl finally says, " I'm going to open #13." I go 2 registers down and wait. The are giggling etc I didn't start putting my groceries up because yet another visit I did that and they then did NOT open said register.

The girl runs by and says she's coming so I start to load the belt. Only other register was the express again. She has only huge bags or very tiny bags. I said , "there's a few on the next bag turn, can I use those?" No response...She kept cramming & slamming my groceries in the bags.

I had all my dry boxes together, all my frozen & wet stuff on the belt together so it should have been easy. No...I got home to dry things wet and things mangled. Sometimes I get some very good baggers and I compliment them every time. She said screamed for someone and said to me, "Oops, I guess that was ghetto." Others were still standing around up front as usual.

She was filling these huge bags and I had to say please don't make them too heavy. I guess she got orders to fill them. Groceries don't do well piled in a bag that high. As I left all down the front end all the bag turns except the one beside us were out of regular bags.

I think they hold 5 or 6 packs on each one and all of them were out??? Who's ordering. I've been mumbled to with a smart comment under a guy employees breath when I was trying to get out of his way, there was no moving for me. This store is so close to my house the ppl used to be super friendly there now with the exception of a few even speak when spoken to but can carry on with thier co-workers.

This store is really going down hill. This is the fourth time I've gone and there were hardly any eggs in that huge section. Maybe problems with suppliers??? This time and last, i left with my legs itching like I had dust mites on me and was fine before going in.

Do they sweep or mop at all?? That's how the other store got, so I left there when this one opened.

Guess it wont be long and bed bugs will be in there too like in Kentucky I believe it was. Just a shame & so disappointed.

No cut meat in the deli

Why is the Englewood Ohio store not displaying any cut deli meat for the customers to choose from, all the other stores in the Englewood Ohio area that sell deli meat ,Kroger's, Meijer's ECT, display their meats sliced proudly, customers have to wait at the Wal mart in Englewood until someone cuts thier meat up for them

Too many people asking for donations outside store

Every weekend I have to fight through ball teams begging for money to get inside the store. Called the store and complained.

They don't care. They have no policy for these beggars to follow. After the store manager gives them the OK, they're on their own. Ball players hollering for money and shoving buckets at customers blocking their exit from the store.

Walmart doesn't care. I say, drive on by unless it's a creditable organization that provides a service to unfortunate people or a veteran based group like the VFW or the like.

I called the store and complained but the asst mgr didn't care. He admonished me for calling to complain that his customers were being harassed.

Walmart apparently allows anyone to beg for money outside their doors. Best to ignore them or, better yet shop at a store that does not allow this nonsense, eg., Meijer if in your area.

On 1-27-16 I when to the Walmart located on South Main, Lexington, 29073. When I called for the exact I was told it was 881 Sunset, Lexington, SC. The problem I had was I was at the razor blades display. I notice that packs of two (2) blades cost $3.00. There were two (2) rows of this type blade, both marked $3.00. By the way, the name brand was Fusion. On the shelf above there were parks of four (4) blades for $21.47. I thought at first they might be a better quality blade. One of your clerks was nearby and I asked her why was there so much difference in price. Now keep in mind that there were 2 rows of the $3.00 blades. One row was completely empty and the other had 3 packs left. The clerk reply was, "I don't know because she did they didn't have any Fusion blades that cost $3.00". My next question was, "How many people did she think purchased what they thought was $3.00 however were charged $9.47? Her answer, "I don't Know". The thought came to me was, how many more of your products were priced in this fashion and went unknown by the consumer. Anyway the female clerk said that she would only charged me at the price that was listed. She was aware that I was purchasing 2 packs of blades. I followed her back to her back to the front and asked if she was going to put the price on the packages. She told me that the clerk will know about it when I checked out. Well they weren't aware of this purchased. I asked the clerk to ask the "manager" that was dealing with. Then I was told that she had left the store for lunch. I then asked for the clerk to follow me back to the display which she replied, "Im not walking back over there". However she noticed the look on my face she did reply with my request. At arrival at the display a guy who said he was the manager was there. I showed them the rows of blades and asked the same questions that I previously asked. Again the reply was "I don't know". If asked these same questions my reply would have been, "Apparently they were missed marked". Up to this point I had been holding my temper until the "manager" said that he was only giving me 1 pack of blades for the $3.00 listed price. I advised him that I was advised that it would be 2 packs for $3.00 packs each. He began to get loud and told me to leave the store or he was going to call the police. I asked him to do just that because a record of this needs to be made. Naturally his attitude brought this to a head and I got loud. I feel that this young "manager" was given more responsibility than he could handle which showed in his efforts to escalate the bad situation and the thought of how many other people were sucked into this purchase and how many more are in this store.

Unfortunately, that's all of retail in general. Prices and tags get mismarked whether it be by human error or system error.

Marketside Albacore Tuna Salad

I always buy the tuna salad my husband and I loved it. That was until they changed it to Albacore Tuna.

It is disgusting if I wanted mayonnaise I would have bought a jar. I will not buy this tuna salad anymore. Not only is it nasty tasting but they also raised the price a dollar more. Sorry Walmart and Marketside but your new improved tuna salad has lost a customer.

Just too much mayonnaise didn't even taste the tuna at all. The new one just taste like a container of mayonnaise. Seriously?

I don't understand this, I was banned from your stores for stealing. But should it not only be the store that I stole from.

They told me that I was banned from all stores for a year? Not that I would come back after how I was treated. But you see I am 19 years old and currently living with my parents and now I have to come up with an excuse to not shop there, because sometimes they take me shopping with them. What about stores in the US am I banned from there as well or is it just from Canada?

I mean I can understand banning me from that particular store.

but if my parents find out they will kick me out of the house since I have been in trouble before and I am setting a bad example for my younger siblings. They said they have three other siblings to take care of and If I set a bad example I am kicked out of the house.

When the discount card is used, the survey option doesn't show up on the receipt .

The warning is probably actually for misusing his discount card. That card is for the associates and their dependants only, so if you're not one of those, and he bought something for you using his discount then he was indeed in the wrong.

That is not how it works, we are allowed to buy things for others as long as they don't get the discount and pay us back. In other words if we were just getting someone a gift or buying something for someone just to be nice we can use our discount card.

What would be an issue is if we bought something, and use our discount and they paid us back.

Because the friend did the survey that is what they thought happened? Or perhaps the managers don't like the friend and are looking for an excuse to punish him which happens all the time sometimes.
