Walmart - Site to Store -- EPIC FAIL
Sick of the customer service experiences I've had in the store, I've taken to using the site-to-store option on particular items. I'm now at the point where I'm even fed up with this service too. Let me explain... My first experience, I waited a month to receive my item. The 2nd experience, it was 3 1/2 weeks, and now? What does this say: Your order should be ready for pickup by 1:53 PM, 04/24/2013. 1:53pm, yes? Today, yes? You read that? I go to the store to pick up my weedeater and guess what? You did NOT waste any time whatsoever taking the money out of my account, did you? 4/24/13 8:53 AM is the time you processed the payment. It would have been really nice to came home today and presented this item to my husband who wanted to finish our yard today. At the store, she showed us that the order has not even been sent to the store yet! It's not in the system! The item is an IN-STORE ITEM! I particularly purchased it through this method to earn online credits with Swagbucks. Man, when will you guys EVER get anything right? #fedup
Walmart - I was given the wrong mulch
After noticing the bare shelves in the produce department, I went to the garden center to pick up some Scotts mulch. I asked to buy 3 bags of Scotts mulch. The cashier rang up my order and gave me my receipt. A male employee loaded up the 3 bags of mulch into my vehicle. After traveling 6 mile to my home, I looked at the label. It was not Scotts brand, I then drove back to the WalMart. The employee who loaded the mulch was chatting it up with 2 other employees. I told him that I needed the Scotts brand. He attempted to blame me for the mix-up. I told him that he looked at the receipt and should have given me the correct brand of mulch. He unloaded the no-brand mulch, and replaced it with the Scotts brand that I originally asked for. There was no apology or "I'm sorry". I am currently trying to find a Wal Mart representative to talk to. What is Wal Mart coming too.
Walmart - The atrocity they call customer service
Unfortunately, I had the opportunity to experience the worst employee that this Wal-mart acknowledges as a customer service representative a few mornings ago. As a customer, you may come across questions regarding store policy or regulations, and it's logical to contact the customer service department just as you would for any other business such as Amazon, Fry's, or Target. You may feel compunction as you ask them trivial questions that they may have encountered thousands of times or as you watch them go out of their way just to help you. But the result is the same whether you received your answer or not: you are treated with respect, professionalism, and proper decorum. Dismally, I was mistaken to expect these qualities from a CUSTOMER SERVICE representative, which is a fundamental flaw in itself and defeats the purpose of what customer service truly represents. Now, I am not hating because she could not do what I asked (I would never ever encourage an employee to go against policy and risk job security), I am expressing my absolute disgust regarding her condescending and curt behavior that morning. It was as if she was castigating me for not understanding store policy (HELLO! I don't work here, that's why I am asking). I told her that she may have been a little patronizing toward me, but that only developed into a horrendously boorish attitude as she became defensive toward me. If you think that is bad, the way they handle formal complaints is impractical. The process is entirely verbal and you express your grievances to an apathetic and nonchalant customer service "manager". This Walmart is huge, and filing a compliant is futile. So, if you do happen to get mistreated I suggest that you address all your issues to corporate. Hopefully, they'll have the integrity and the moral scruple to do something about it. https://corporate.walmart.com/contact-us/store-cor than that, try out their competitors like Fry's, Marsh, Meijer, Target, Kroger and Staples. They're pretty good.
Walmart - Priced higher than new then 30% off was noted
Walmart recently had ALOT of display tvs for sale. They claimed to have been 30% off. Yea right. My example was a Sanyo, yellow inventory sticker said $478. So they tried telling me it would be 335. I get the model number and there is a brand new one, in the box, for $378, everyday low price. Needless to say they sold alot of the displays with the yellow inventory price, which they price lower than suggested retail price of what they actually sell them at. I bought the tv at 335. Then went to customer service and asked for the manager. I then showed him they were ripping off there customers. Raise the price $100, THEN take 30% off, then showed him the tv new in the box. I got my differnce back PLUS the 5% bounty. In the end I paid $280 for a 42 inch plus got the bounty of $75 so the tv was $205. I fell for all the people that didn't pay attention and thought they were getting a better price
Walmart - Credit card site does not work
I like to be able to login to any credit card sites I have but Walmart card site does not even let you get setup.(just hangs nothing) Note this is a GE Retail Bank card for Walmart. I also tried GE Retail banking site but no luck there either so if you are like me and like to keep a close watch on your accumulating dept by signing in to see you will be out of luck with a Walmart card and I suspect with any GE Bank backed card. Card customer service must know their site does not work because they did not sound very hopeful either just going through the motions. I have tried the site many times days later with same just hung up. 1)Very high interest rate 2)No functional site to be able to check your balance 3)Will be canceling card after first bill
Walmart - Hard to find someone to help you
I need help with a futon that i wished to purchased. there were no employees near that area so i decided that i should start looking for one. finally i found one and they said they would send someone over who would help with that. so i proceed back over to where this futon is and wait. finally 20 minutes later i go search out another employee to help me because still no one had showed up. so i found another one and they finally helped me but seemed not to enthusiastic about helping me which did not help the situation.
Walmart in Collingwood, Ontario - Unfriendly employees
I was in a really good mood until i came here. i had a wonderful time shopping and i got everything i need. as i went to check out though, i noticed a little bit of a problem with two cashiers. they sat there arguing about something for a few minutes as i loaded all my items onto the belt. this wasnt the problem though. after they got done arguing, the cashier did not even greet me and decided to have an attitude towards me. i was shocked by the way she was talking to me. i can understand that she was not having a good day, but she should not take that out on the costumers.
Walmart - Ad match confusion
Walmart has been known to do ad matches so i went in to do an ad match on crackers that were cheaper at walgreens. I brought in the flyer and everything so that i could get this product price matched. I tried asking the cashier to do this for me, but he refused to do it. I was stunned by this. So after my purchase i went up to the the service desk to get help with this problem. Turns out the cashier was new and he wasnt aware of this but I got it all fixed out at the service desk even though i spent longer there than i should have.
Walmart - Confused Costumer
A recent visit to Walmart left me rather confused. I went to purchase nail polish remover with my daughter. I put all my items onto the belt and the cashier rung up my items. The cashier then proceeded to ask myself and my daughter for our IDs. We both showed her our IDs but because my daughter is only 17, she would not allow me to purchase the nail polish remover because there was no "proof" she was my daughter. I was not aware of this policy and i am still confused by the policy. I am not mad, i just want to know if any one else has heard of this policy?
Walmart in California City, California - Needed a product, but they were out (Problem Solved)
I wanted this product a Walmart, but when i got there they were all out of it. it was strange to me because every other time i went there before it was always in stock! i was pretty upset by this so i decided to go to the service desk to see if there was a way to fix this. Fortunately, they did help me. they ended up actually having it but hadnt stocked the shelves with it yet so thankfully i ended up getting that product, just wish it wouldnt have taken as long as it needed to but all that matters is that i got it :)
