They did not lie to you, it is your lack of understanding that is the issue. I can see with your poorly written review that English is not your first language and it is you that misunderstood.

Stores do not generally price match online prices whether it is with their own company or other company. Get your facts straight before accusing them of lying.

Walmart - Review in Supermarkets and Malls category

Visited my local neighborhood Walmart at 9:20 pm (no later than 9:30) to pick up an item I purchased online, however the customer service area was closed for the day. Mind you.... my email notification stated I had until 10:00pm to do so. All other Walmart customer service dept closes at 10. I was highly upset! To me just because that area closed the till by all means I should have been able to get my 1 little item (DVD) and go to another register for the item to be noted as picked up. I've worked at Walmart previously and the head cashier in layaway and customer service act like or maybe they can't, sign into any register to take the necessary action. In this day and time of advance technology that's nonsense. Get it together Walmart or train these so called supervisors/managers that are on duty. Oh yeah.... post the correct time for pickup in customer service at the Walmart on Main St in Snellville Ga!

Ordered new glasses,they call and said glasses are in and can pickup between 4pm and 7pm. Get there at 4:10pm and they tell me the only person who can help me is out to lunch and wont be back for 45 minutes. Excuse me but why tell someone you can pick up glasses in a time frame and no one is there to help. UNACEPTABLE!!!!! I work and dont have a lot of time to put up with *** like this! Walmart should have more than one person working that can take careof this problem. Over $500 spent on glasses and this is the way i'm treated!! I will NOT recomend Walmart Eye Center to ANYONE!!!! VERY VERY PISSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Complaint on store manager Michael Campbell at store located at 1660 Tappahannock Blvd. Tappannock, Va.

I was in Walmart located at 1660 Tappahannock Blvd. Tappahannock, Va.

22560 on December 6, 2016. I was purchasing Christmas lights and gifts for my grandchildren. I asked the manager Mr. Campbell if I could check out in the garden center as my car was closer to that part of the store.

Mr. Campbell's response was, of course as long as you pay for it. I can tell you I was beside myself to have a store manager respond like that to a customer.

I took it very personal and although I have a Walmart Credit card I will no longer be a faithful paying customer of Walmart. I hope your intentions are to correct this in a very professional manner.

What the heck?

This complaint does not make any sense to me.

Customers who write complaints like this one cannot expect any business to address it.

And when the business does not, the customer gets upset.

File 13, the trash can, is where a complaint like this would likely go.

To elucidate: It turns out that of the four green-lit “available” self-checkout kiosks, only one was able to take cash. The other three were [secretly] programmed to accept only credit or debit cards.

Customers are offered no indication of the distinction on approach.

They are intercepted as if from an aircraft boarding line by a TSA agent, halted, interrogated and triaged before proceeding. Why doesn’t Walmart simply clearly identify the kiosks properly?

I had the same experience at Walmart just yesterday, and left feeling as if I were outside the US, across some border, using a foreign currency -- grudgingly accepted, but not preferred. I got schooled for my money, like Harvard-schooled! In my case, the "assistant" actually blocked my way forward as I attempted to join my wife, waiting for me and our groceries at the checkout. The assistant asked me "Do you plan to use cash or credit?" It struck me, in translation, as "Do you need a loan?" whereupon, I thought [mentally] in response "None of your business!". I actually said, instead, "You're blocking my way; I'm trying to join my wife. She's standing there at the checkout machine behind you." As I brushed past her, the woman said, "You should say "excuse me"." I actually told her that "I do not see a need to beg your pardon to proceed to the checkout." I could be wrong, but on later consideration it seems that I have lived long enough to see the benefits of a credit transaction now clearly exceed those of cash [for Walmart] for at least the following several reasons: 1) immediate payment, less time making/getting exact change 2) increased cash flow, 3) mitigated risk/liability (of physical pilfering/loss), 4) increased security of monetary receipts with the reduction of human contact/error, 5) reduced expense of physical store security, its concomitant expense and exposure, 6) increased profit. 7) improved track-ability (who bought what, when, where, why?) analytics and logistics Conditioning the customers to use credit/debit cards furthers all of these ends going forward. Again, I am now Harvard-schooled! I am old enough to remember well that cash was "King", the preferred medium of exchange. Thereafter, credit was merely offered as a convenience to customers. Now, under the guise of that convenience, in a grand reversal, credit has become preferred for reasons cited above, and the acceptance of cash is offered as the convenience. Among other things, this appears to be a nod to globalization, a slight to what was once the sovereign and universal acceptability of US currency as coin of the realm, good and sufficient "legal tender for all debts, public and private". Say goodbye to cash. It's saying goodbye to you. Wherever it's going, it evidently can't get there fast enough!

The self check out machine had a problem taking cash and giving cash back. That is why that particular machine was cards only.

A message will pop up on the machine indicating it is cards only. The worker asked if you were using cash or card so they could direct you to the correct machine, because most walmart shoppers are idiots.

Walmart ruined my kid Christmas 2-5 business day to return my $212 I spent to get my kid something he really wanted. I called n warned them a few times ruined don't wanna do there job. I wish I woulda spent the extra $49 n shopped at target or Kmart. Due to this I'll never buy a pack of gum outta Walmart again n this wasn't a third party this was a Walmart product. Waited on hold 45 mins n 13 mins before that I'll spend the extra money no more walmart. I used to love it but never again

Manager at Aurora store

MY transaction was rudely interrupted by a manager disapplining a cashier because she was not wearing a collared shirt and was wearing a walmart hat issued by walmart. The new cashier was very neat in appearance, and polite.

The manager on duty at 1:30 pm on Wednesday Oct.26 was rude, huge, sloppy looking, not wearing a collared shirt herself and seems to be exercising her authority. Any person in management know you NEVER discipline a employee in public .

This woman should not be employed by you or represent walmart for that matter. Wish I had names but like I said she is grossly over weight, sloppy hair you might say dirty dish water blonde with a huge ego.

Receivers in general

Don't know if this will do any good. Walmart is a great company they have great prices. Iam a vendor and I service many Walmart. My only complaint is about the receivers. It would be nice if the majority of them showed up on time to start working. if the receiving time is 4:00 or 5:00 am then they should open at that said time we are suppose to be business partners Iam on time, not just me but other people as well. We have time stops and if they are not on time it makes for a bad day. And another thing you would think they would all check in the same way, not ever Walmart has or shall I say receivers check in the same way.

No support for management re: walmart to walmart moneygram

This is what just happened to me at store # 1951 in Ontario Or. have an emergency so daughter sent money to me from Michigan walmart to walmart.

at the store, customer service tells me transaction unavailable at the location. Clerk tells me they might have sent it to another state. I asked her to call for management, first manager tells me same thing. still have not told me why I cant get my money, so asked him to please find out why,asked me if I called the number on walmart to walmart paper so i called the fraud agency number on the form they said money is available so I go back and tell them just called and its available at this time he had left and had to speak to another manager this was Misty she came and told me the system is down and to come back in morning.

I told her no and find out why she said theres no one to call and wont call her boss on his time off. by this time I have been here over an hour and still getting nowhere so i told her that i want to know when i can get my money she said i cant and proceeds to tell me some *** it like a bank transaction i don't care I want my money call someone to get and answer. again she tells me there is no one to call and I told her find someone call your tech support and find out when your system will be up she finally got someone on phone and said that there system is down and it will be up by 7am. Still does not help me.

I told her your telling me that no one here can make a decision and there is not one to call. I told her this will change, I still need the money. she then grabs another manager veronica she said was her boss so I asked her, she could add no more. This is a sad and very dangerous situation when no one has support form corporate office to make a decision except to tell me I have to wait.

the whole ideal behind walmart to walmart and moneygram is to get the money now not tomorrow and not when our system is up but now. As she leaves again and comes back to offer me 15 dollars and to come back in morning I can see i'm getting nowhere. with this management team which has no more authority then another clerk. Management should always be able to get and answer form somewhere even at night if not close your doors.

so I told her ill wait there until the system is up and i can get my money customer service is only open until 10 pm and i said not tonight you better have some one stay until the system is up and i get my money, she told me i can't . Did not want to make her more upset then she already was but if i chose to stay you would have someone there all night and call police and tell them that I wont leave because you wont give me my money.

see what they say.

anyways I left with 15 dollars enough to eat and sleep in parking lot until 7am still have and emergency but no one knows who the boss is. if something happens to my mother tonight as she is 80 yrs old and in Boise by herself you cant make this up to us put your mother in that situation i would like an answer.

They did make a decision. You just didn't like their decision.

There's a difference. By the way, I'm sure you could have waited in the store until the system was back up, but you would have done so alone and in the dark.

Maybe this whole experience will teach you to put some money aside to keep for an emergency so you don't have to rely on your daughter (who should be able to rely on you, not the other way around) or technology when you need fast cash.

AND if they say there is no one to call, it is probably because there is no one to call.

They had probably called their IT support, and were waiting for repairs, there is nothing that could be done in the mean time. I'm sure if they could have called someone they would have, just to get rid of you.

Walmart is just a middle man for Moneygram. If there's any issues, YOU have to call Moneygram. Walmart can't do anything if the satellite is down or your daughter did not fill out the information correctly.

Black Friday Phillips 55" Class TV

I think it is complete stupidity to be sold out of item before the sale even starts. If wristbands or vouchers are to be distributed for an item they should not be given out prior to the sale starting so people can leave the store and come back at their leisure to pick it up. I feel if you want the item that desperately you should be willing to wait for it. if you are unwilling to wait in the store then stay home and order it online. I don't care what their add says or why they do it the way they do it, but I would have been less likely to be upset if I had waited in line for an item and they ran out 5 people before me because of the quantity available in the line rather than hear that they were sold out at 3:00pm and the sale didn't start until 6:00pm. Walmart and all other stores that are sucking the life out of hardworking people need to take a step back. If they are "worried" that an item is so popular that it might start a riot maybe take a look at crowd control and organization. Raffles and gimmicks do not impress me and make me not to want to shop at a store anymore. If I wanted raffle tickets there are plenty of fundraisers where the money goes to a good cause I would rather buy into. However, Walmart has there hooks so deep in everyone's life there is almost no way to avoid shopping there for some items. If I had my choice I would never give another dollar to the *** low quality company.

I was picking up several things at the Temple Walmart (31st St. location) on Friday Nov.

18th at approximately 4 PM. I had grocery, automotive, and hardware items. Apparently a new rule is to card people under 18 if purchasing windshield wiper fluid. The cranky lady asked for my i.d.

Stunned, I said, "are you kidding me?" She said, "you look young to me." I felt she was mocking me. I am 45 years old with plenty of gray hair. She insisted.

I told her to keep it, then finally said, just keep everything and walked out. Felt mocked since I look every bit my age.

Went through checkout and paid for my fruits. One of the fruits rang up higher than what i was expecting so I asked the cashier to ring up 2 bags of oranges instead of one.

The cashier gave me permission to just grab an extra one on the way out of the door. Then as i leave the store, im stopped by security outside of the store who rudely and upruppedly stopped me and would not even look at my reciept and would not peak to te cashier who gave me permision. Te security guard just continued to embarrass me in front of everyone accusing me of stealing. I am so overly embarrassed, i siince then have not returned to the store.

I have also been hearing horrible stories from people i know who have hadsimilar experiences and are beginming to feel uncomfortable to even shop there as well. It is not the consumers fault if walmart is under staffed and ask the consumer yo do THEIR JOB then unnecessarily and distespectful get scorned for it. It is not the consumers fault for having employyees who do not do the jobs successfly. It is not the consumers fault for lazy walmart employees.

I HAVE HAD ENOUGH AND STILL WILL NEER GO BACK!!!! Soon Im sure those i know who have had unpkeasant experiences will also do the same. This company who use yo be a respectable organization has turned intk a greedy, blameful, and careless,and direspectful organization to oters who have also put other organization who actually had pride in their name and products!!!

What a disvrace this walmart company has bevome and tbis mobster is getting worse. I hope you go out of business!!!!!

Paris Kentucky walmart (a place where 80 percent of the population are outdoorsman, hunters and fisherman) never has anyone working in sporting goods. The times i have waited to be helped or searched for someone its taken a good 30 just to get the one item, other times ive just gone to a differant county to make my purchase while inconvenient its a lot faster.

I brought my vehicle to these dumb *** *** for a simple oil change and my car then started leaking oil which it had never leaked so I brought it back they then come up with all this bs about how something like that just happens it's like driving down the street and you get a flat the dummy said. Of course they not gone admit they *** something up I'll never go back there and I'll surely spread the word to others how bad of a job they do. I had been warned by other people who had been customers who other cars they *** up.

Gaskets don't last the life of the vehicle *** Less when you neglect oil changes. It's a car *** breaks and wears out.

Welcome to the club... Inherited a car that dry rotted the seals from sitting non opped. Soon as I changed the oil started leaking slightly...
