Walmart savings catcher

the snap shot for the receipts will not scan unless your phones camera and the receipt are both at the same level half the time typing in the tc# fails i have to fiddle with my phone for 30 mins or more just to make the walmart app take a pic of the receipt even if i have a clear shot of the receipt if the receipt isnt flat and on a flat surface or its not enough light it wont take a pic or takes forever i am not really saving money at all walmart claims no need to price check well thats a lie walmart does not include every store in my area in the savings catcher so i DO need to price compare walmart cut out most departments from the savings catcher departments that are the main staple in most peoples diet deli bakery meat veggies exc walmarts declaring no need to price check with their savings catcher is FALSE ADVERTISING im getting tired of the savings catcher saying no lower price found yet i know of a store LOCALLY that DID have a lower price but was unable to go there because i was in a rush

AND Walmart does not match their own published prices! You can check the official Walmart price for an item and find that the store is charging more than the official price set by corporate.

This happens mostly when they have a "Rollback" where corporate sets a lower price than what an item used to sell for, but stores take their own dear sweet time about getting around to changing the prices in their computers. The Savings Catcher system refuses to honor those prices.

WalMart Gift Card Chicanery

This is kiting and fraud operation engineered by WalMart to make extra float on your money and launder it as genuine revenue to pad their books! I had the same. I paid CASH for a gift and made an order at walmart.com. They cancelled the order within MINUTES yet are still holding the money hostage 13 hours later! They also cited "security" as the issue. The only fraud I see is going on on THEIR end! It's interesting that money they claim isn't good enough to buy products from their site, yet it's perfectly good enough to earn a float from what they are claiming are fraudulent funds! I'm pretty sure there is a RICO violation somewhere in there! The FTC seriously needs to look into this scam and SHUT IT DOWN!!

This is what kiting is. People used to do it alot but you usually can't get away with it anymore.

In the past, clearing checks between banks took extended periods of time.

Individuals used to take advantage of this delay and wrote "bad" checks to deposit funds before the checks were cashed.

Banks have tried to cut down on kited checks by placing holds on deposited funds and charging for returned checks.

This is not a scam. Online stores do this all the time.

Yes, the money seems to be taken out of your account right away and so you expect it to be returned right away. It doesn't work that way.

Refunds can take 3-5 business days to appear back on your statement regardless of how short a timeframe between the purchase and refund, and in the case of gift cards it can take upwards of 30 days because there is rarely any information to verify that gift card belongs to a specific person unlike a debit card that has your name and account number. So no, this is not Walmart scamming you, this is an industry wide practice and neither the FCC, BBB , CTC or FTC will do anything about it.

And if you are so thorough in your research you will see that I will defend a customer and even offer help when they are being screwed. I simply asked if they knew when a particular product would be coming back into stock, if ever, and they "put me through" to another department. I'm still sitting and waiting for them to put me through, it's been twenty minutes so far and still no sign of an employee yet. This is horrible customer service and it needs to be fixed! I like Walmart's prices, I don't even mind the register problems. But being stuck on hold so that I can't do anything else is beyond rude and careless and it *** me off. I'm literally unable to do anything because they might pick up when I go do it. Can't eat something, can't go swimming, can't do housework or watch tv, I can't even go to the bathroom. I am very angry with this.

Walmart - Cashier Review from Duncansville, Pennsylvania

There is a serious problem at store 2094 that really need to be addressed they are putting people in charge as cms that are filthy dirty an another one that who was a cashier that messed up more that she worked everything she touched she screwed up she has already cost Walmart a lot of money. To make sure you know who I'm talking about her name is gabby. If something isn't done Walmart will continue to lose money at that store. There is to much of the bs going on with this not being addressed at that store. I know in less that a year that store list over a million dollars in theft ,That a true fact corperate needs to wake up an really investagate the store

Bad fruit and vegatables

Three out of four times times I go to Walmart to buy fruits,when I get home the middle and bottom are rotten.I brought this to the attention of product manager and nothing happened.Sent two emails to Walmart and they never responded.I now do not buy fruits and vegetables from here.I buy my groceries here,when they are not out,but they is all.Its a shame that they do not care anymore than that about their customers.Maybe this is the reason that they are losing customers and people are so fed up with the way they treat customers. I have always been told not to buy there meat and never have or will.

I haven't seen any news at all about Walmart losing customer counts. I have seen a bit about somewhat smaller basket sizes, as there are now competitors out there with radically different business models, such as Aldi, and that does appear to be having an impact.

As far as your produce problem...

The First Rule in buying anything is to select carefully at the store. Touch it, feel it, gently squeeze it, smell it. Produce is all packaged in such a way to allow this, easily.

Produce is a natural product. Every piece grows to its own.

Some are just "perfect", some more or less blemished, some go "off" sooner or later than others. No two pieces are ever the same.

Ever hear of "Buyer Beware". Basically, you have money to buy something. A store sells whatever it pleases, presumably because the product will please the most number of their customers.

You only buy and pay for whatever they offer that pleases you.

The system works... You should try it sometime.

Walmart - Manager Review from Findlay, Ohio

At store 2576 in cross lanes wv i worked there for little over a year in produce. And just got fired for complete ***. For beginners our store manager Lloyd Atkinson is a complete ***. He is completely rude treats everyone including customers like dogs. He has lawsuits against him by different people. And the only reason he is still a store manager is cause his uncle is up there on the walmart ladder. And there is one of the assistant managers named lonnie Johnson who also treats everyone like dogs. He gets by with everything because of the color of his skin. He has threatened to fire me in tons of different occasions for bull reasons. One is for missing too many days because the state of wv was in a state of emergency because of heavy snow multiple times and the public buses didn't run and at the time was my only transportation to work. Which is against the law and should not be counted against the peron but it was for me. And then got the flu and went to the doctor and the doctor gave me an excuse for about a week. But the managers wanting me to come in and work anyway know that i had the flu. Why would i want to come in when i have the flu and deal with fresh food and customers. That's a health violation right there. And the days i missed was counted against me even with a doctors excuse. And there is our produce department manager Donna Goodwin which is why i got fired. Heres the story the day before donna told me and someone else to take out the bad food to our organic dumpster and clean up the produce back room before noon. Which i was the only one who did it amd the other perosn goofed off and then clocked out. And just left me to finish it. I got 95% of the bad food ready then went on my last break and come back and finish it and clean up everything. Then llyod went back there and started complaining about it and yelling at everyone and treating us like complete ***. So i finished it and clocked out. Came back the next day to start my shift and lonnie and Donna called me back to the office and said i have bad attendance and a poor job performance and let me go. And kept the other person. So store #2576 can kiss my ***.
