This store has ha huge problem with customers parking where ever they want to. Complaints have been filed with the manager with no luck. Many people are angry but nothing from the manager. Any one can see the problem from Google satellite maps. They are in the zones...

Too many fingers.

Every time I go into walmart the people there put too many fingers in my ***. I dont know why they named this gloryhole walmart, but it really makes things cuntfusing when I am trying to remember if I am there to shop or to get my *** fingered. Please change your fried chicken wing ding check cashing coupon policy, I never make it there on time on christmas eve. Also I got kicked out because I graduated highschool and they dont like people who shop there to have any kind of intelligence. I hope my review helps people in the future.

Agressive Personal Data Collection

I went to Walmart today for an oil change, and to have my tires rotated (A CASH SALE). They said that they wouldn't touch my car unless I gave them my home address, name and phone #. I tried refusing to give my address, and they said that if I didn't give it to them, they wouldn't service my car. I can think of no valid reason for their needing my address to change my oil. Especially since they had possession of my (house and car) keys for a time in the process. I witnessed women at the counter being asked to recite their addresses and phone numbers in front of strangers? I have researched it a bit tonight and found that when you willingly give that information to Walmart, they take it as an implied consent to use it to to market products and services to you. They also reserve the right to share this data within their "Corporate Family of Companies" (whatever that means) According to a 2004 New York Times article, Walmart admitted to having 460 Terabytes of data on products and customers on their computer systems in Bentonville Ar. (in 2004) They are the Big Fish of customer data gathering. This was the last time they service any of my vehicles. Put that in your data base and Crunch it!

Hello, whenever I had an oil change or tires put on, I just gave them my name, phone number, and zip code. Thats all it requires for them to process your vehicle.

False Advertisement

Last week on Tuesday I went into my local Walmart to pick up the movie *House at the end of the street*-(blue-ray + digital copy) because it was slated to be out that day I did not see it on any shelf.I then proceeded to ask certain employees around the area where the movie was and not many of the workers could give me a straight answer, even though they had it evident on their movie list around the electronic area that it was suppose to be out for sale. Later that day I contacted the 1-800 customer service thing on this and I was then told by the woman I spoke to that they supposed release date for the movie had been changed at the last minute and I was like * are you fricken kidding me*. I then pointed out to her on the phone that they date for the *blue-ray + digital copy* was still showing the 8th as the release date and I told her that Walmart should of followed through on keeping that release date, instead of changing dates like they do because to me that's wrong. Not to mention here Walmart could also be held accountable for falsely advertising a product that they weren't gonna sale right away

DVDS/BLUE-RAYS/VIDEOS GAMES you name it have a universal released date in the United States of America when sold at a STORE. The issue wasn't WAL-MART it was the company that produces that specific item.

Only they can change the date. Who buys a movie like that on the exact day it suppose to come out anyways.

Wait a freaking 3+ months and buy it for half the price. It's not like your going to watch it more than 1 to 2 times in the next 3 years.

#593823

You should realize that it probably wasn't Walmart's decision to delay the release. If you should be mad at anyone, it should probably be whoever the distributor of the movie is.

Walmart - Bad for our Economy!

The cheapest thing is not always the best buy and most of the products are still worth the price tags! Buying from Walmart is supporting child labor in other countries, especially China. Even thought their CEO's are filthy rich, they refuse to provide health care benefits to their employes and so their many employes are forced to rely on the government and tax payers for health care. In this poor economy, many can't afford not to shop there but it is just making the economy worse not better. They build new stores and put local business owners out of business. They always have lot of check outlines but only a couple are ever open.

FYI, Walmart provides insurance for both full and part time associates. As well as STD, LTD, Dental, life and a bit more.

Associates receive discounts on Verizon phone bills, free checking at banks, a much more depending on where your located. I wonder if a mom and pop store can or have ever offered such insurances or discounts? Get your facts straight.

At least the people working at Walmart who are on welfare are working. I would give them my taxes twice before I give my taxes to the individual s breeding, feeding and sleeping on my dime.

@Juicey

***...my Wal-Mart NEVER offered those benefits when I was working there...I had to be full time and an associate for six months...well, my six-month mark arrived, and they cook up some *** story to justify shafting me like they do to a lot of their employees. Trust me on this...WAL-MART is an EVIL CORPORATION. :(

#593476

So how did the complaints about WalMart, that you listed, cost you $100.00. To me it only makes common sense, especially for people that are lower income to shop where they can purchase things for a lower cost, than they are able to buy it at a locally owned business.

I have bought electronics, household items, clothing, and numerous other items from them and haven't had any problems with any of it. I agree it would be nice to be able to buy locallly, however, on my retirement income of $600.00 a month I can't afford to.

Rudess Store Employees

This store in n miami beach fl has possitively got the rudess employees i have ever dealt with .You ask a question they will finished their conversation with their co- worker and then ask you WHAT ? I think every employee should act as if SAM Walton was standing right behind them . I called the store got a new magr jimmy he said he would check a video of an incident i had brought to his attention and return my call , i've called three times leaving a message with gina the ast magr ...still no return call just left my third message with Co mgr eric.... .When i shop the melbourne fl store its a pleasant enjoyable leisurely shopping expierence here in n miami beach totaly different. Is it to much to ask for stock clerks to speak english , i mean really i dread the fact i have to go back to this walmart... it's like the world has come to an end and everyones is scambling for whats left on the shelves ..no kidden i'd ..rather spend more $ at publixs ..like their motto sez where shopping is a pleasure ..

Does anyone know how to spell anymore?

#593275

Shopping at any discount store, no matter the time of day or night, is never a leisurely enjoyable experience. There are two that are quite nice, if you get there early in the morning.

Basically, your complaint is that some of the stock clerks don't speak English. Shame on you!. When you have a question, find one of the employees for the area that you are in.

The stock clerks are apt to work all over the store, not just in one department.

Site To Store Mishap And Lies

My TV went out this passed September, and I set out to buy a new one. The best deals I found were on Walmart.com and Amazon.com. I decided to go with the TV on Walmart's site because they were promising Site To Store could get it to me in 3 days, where Amazon was going to take 5-7 days, and since I had no TV I wanted the faster option. The date was September 8th, and prior to checking out the website was saying I'd get it the 11th, so I added the TV to my cart and checked out. After I'd put in my CC number, paid and everything, an "Order Summary" popped up, and it said it would arrive the 15th. Wait a minute, 2 minute ago it was the 11th, now it's the 15th? The only thing that changed was they got my CC number, which I guess is all it takes. You've already paid, now you're on OUR time. Ten minutes later I check my e-mail, and there's an order confirmation from Walmart.com. I open it up, and to my surprise, it says the 18th!! In less than 15 minutes we've gone from the 11th to the 15th to the 18th. Long story short, it shows up on the 21st. What started out as a 3 day wait turned into 2 weeks. The bottom line is don't ever trust the shipping eta that Walmart.com gives you. Once they have your money they will get it to you when they *** well please. They will tell you one thing, then as soon as you pay tell you something else. I wouldn't say I "lost" money because I made the choice to buy from Walmart instead of Amazon, but the only reason I ordered from them was they were promising faster delivery, and I decided to pay a little bit more for the same TV (only $15) to get it several days sooner, only to get it about a week later.

I just have one small question.Since you wanted the tv in such a small amount of time? Why?Did you not just go to a walmart and purchase the tv youself. Then you would not be crying about your $15.00.You would have been able to carry the tv home with you at the time of purchase.Sometime's thinking a head hurt's our head's.

#596050

Site to store in 3 days, no joking, Site to Store would take mostly 5 to 7 days and it is well known in Walmart.com, if you would like to receive your TV faster you should had pay the Rush delivery if this is what you wanted.

False advertising and returns

I ordered this phone after doing search for prepaid tmobile cell phone. This one (Straight Talk Samsung T528G GSM Prepaid Smartphone) was on the list and I thought the price looked good so I decided to order it and have a look at it as I need one that has a large dial paid and I couldn't see the picture of that. I took it to tmobile when it arrived to have them switch my sim card and they told me I could not use this with tmobile. (THEN WHY DID WALMART WEB SITE SHOW IT??????) It has never been opened so I call Walmart for a return and a credit to my card for both the phone and the extra warranty I purchased. They said they could not give me a credit for the warranty and I insisted and told them I would not need it since the phone needs also to be returned. After some time they agreed on the warranty refund. But, they will not take back the phone. I was told to call Straight Talk as that is who it needs to be returned to. I made that call ands was on the line for about 45 minutes with a girl who kept asking me for the order number. I gave it to her 6 times and she kept arguing that was not the number. There are no other numbers on this invoice. She says since I do not have the right invoice number they cannot take the phone back and I should call Walmart. I am getting the buck. I again call Walmart and ask for a supervisor and this girl want all the information again. SHe tells me she is transferring my call but instead disconnects me. Again I call and have to repeat this information again to another person before he will transfer me. I finally get to the escalation supervisor but the connection is bad. She tells me she will call me right back. She never does. Been waiting 20 min for her "right back" call. I call again and it took 10 min and I had to go through the whole explanation again. The girl I spoke with was able to resolve this and process my return. It just irks me that it took so many people and so much of my time (apprx 2 hrs) to get this done. I just think companies hire just anybody nowdays and really don't care if they do their jobs or not. If I were the boss their would be some heads rolling. There is not monetary loss. Its just a loss of time which is more valuable than what I paid for this.

GO TO THE STORE NEXT TIME AND ACUTALLY BUY IT INSTEAD OF ON LINE ***

#591587

maybe now you learned to buy cell phones that are sold by your service provider. I think I'll just buy a Verizon phone and see if I can use it as a landline phone.

#591152

Straight Talk talk is a multi-carrier MVNO that retails Tmobile and At&T Sim Cards and has select CDMA Verizon phones as well in their lineup, Anon.

#590249

why would you think that you could get T-Mobile service with a Straight-Talk plan? Are you technologically challenged?

#591592

who gets perms anymore? I don't even know anything about hair but I know very few people do that these days. but on a bigger note, Walmart probably did something else to your hair because they probably didn't understand what you were saying with how dumb you sound.

#590067

Your complaint doesn't make any sense----it sounds like you are just rambling on, about nothing. Did the perm not take, or did your hair fall out?

You aren't real clear on that. They didn't say you wouldn't get your refund, but that it just has to be done by the manager, when he is there. That shouldn't have you so upset that you don't make sense in your complaint. However, if this is the way you sound in person, they might not take you seriously.

That being said there are certain medications that a person takes that can affect the way a perm re-acts, also for a certain time after having surgery or delivering a baby, can affect the way a perm takes. It is up to the customer to inform the stylist of things like that, because that is the only way a stylist would know whether or not to proceed. I guess if you don't get your refund and you want to stand by their door and make a spectacle of yourself, they won't care, because it won't hurt their business that much. Also store security would have the right to remove you from the site.

When you go in on Monday, take a nice calm breath and don't act and sound the way your post does.

Empty shelves

In recent months I have shopped this store and others in S.C. to find a lot of the shelves half empty. When I ask an employee about this problem I get some excuse like 'We had a sale and haven't had a chance to restock. Another is we are taking inventory to see what we need. I'm tired of going to a store to shop and can't find half of what I want. This is an ongoing problem and I'm ready to change store chains, maybe K-mart. The reason I shopprd Walmart in the first place was because the prices were lower than other stores, but not anymore. As high as Bi-Lo is, I can find a lot of the same products as low or lower priced at Bi-Lo. So why go to Walmart? At least the shelves are full at Bi-Lo.

like the others said, it sometimes depends on the vendors and manufacturers. and good luck shopping at Kmart.

#590251

good luck shopping at K-Mart. See how that goes for you-lol

#589604

Different vendors. I work for a Walmart in southwest Florida.

This is snow bird season. Many items are not stocked as they are unavailable from either the warehouse or the manufacturer. I order every day, but that does not mean it will come immediately. Items in the warehouse come in about 3 days.

Vendor items come in about 2 weeks.

And no we do not buy massive quantities. We have no where to store such overstock of every item we sell.

And even Kmart is out of stuff sometimes.

#589603

You can't tell me this happens consistantly. There are times that it does happen.

Sometimes a truck doesn't arrive when it should, sometimes there has been a sale, and sometimes it even happens if you wait until the last minute to get something that you need and there has been a run on it, by people that plan ahead. I normally do plan ahead, but there has been times that I have had to wait until the last minute, and then I find my choices to be severely limited.

Have fun in KMart. I haven't set foot in either of the KMarts here for more than five years, because they are extremely cluttered, and since uniting with Sears their prices have gotten really high.
