WalMart - Chicagoland

Why is it that there are always plenty of managers hanging around, yet there are never enough cashiers?? As customers, we can stand in line for several minutes and no one cares? I have called the store from my place in line and ask to speak to the manager...then complain!! Most times extra cashiers appear! A MIRACLE!! I always look at the number of cashiers at the registers before I even think of shopping!! SO, either beware if you see too few cashiers, or call from your place in line! Try it, you may cut your wait time by several minutes!! On a positive note, the stores are much cleaner and organized than ever before!!

5 days and still Walmart photo center could not complete my order.

I went to the Walmart photo center to have 7 pictures turned into faux canvas'. The order was supposed to be completed that day by 2:30 pm. I returned to store 0125 at 6:30 pm and was told the order was not finished, only 3 were done and those 3 were done incorrectly. I go back the next evening and still the order was not done. This all started on Tuesday May 22, 2012 and by Thursday May 24, 2012 I finally receive a phone call telling me that the order will be ready on Friday. On Saturday May 26, 2012 I go into the store and my order is still not complete. They had 3 done but those 3 were damaged. I asked what the problem was and was told that they could not complete my order but they would let me have the 3 damaged ones for 10.00 a piece. I said that was too much. A supervisor came over and asked what the problem was. She stated that I could take the 3 faux canvas' for 10.00 each " Take it or leave it" were her exact words. I said " I'll leave it" and walked out of the store.

I used to work at the Walmart store 100 in Bentonville, AR

This was in 2002-03. Let me tell you, customers like Mrs. Lea is a saint compared to many of the other customers that shopped at that store. The Home office people, the wives of Home Office execs that shopped there regularly, etc., all came in expecting the red carpet to be rolled out for them and all us slave wage store people to come over to them and physically kiss their behinds. To add fuel to that fire, a lot of the other customers that shopped there was from that snooty old rich yankee retirement community, Bella Vista Village, which borders Bentonville to the north. Ironically, I also had some crazy lady yell at me over getting her dollar stuck in the coke machine outside. I was coming back from lunch one day, and was carrying my vest and name badge in my hands(not wearing of course) to the side, and when she saw it she started yelling at me about the machine. I told her she had to go to customer service to get her dollar refunded and she refused saying she shouldn't have to do that. I was off the clock and didn't even have to even say anything to her to begin with. As I was walking back in she started yelling at the manager of the store's McDonalds, who was out there on a cigarette break, about me, accusing me of walking away from her(like he had any authority over me). Incidents like that was actually pretty common with many associates in the store due to the PMSed hags that shopped there expecting us to perform magic for them. There were also incidents of cashiers being turned in because they politely informed the customers that they aleady knew about some sale and price change that was required when the customers came up and told them about it while checking out. I had some crazy old bat get mad at me because I didn't know about something special the other cashiers did for her when she came through my line for the first time when I was brand new. "All the other cashiers know about this, I do this all of the time" she yelled at me. Those are just a couple of stories. No to mention one of the co-managers, TOM LARUE, who was a *** and a half to me. I quit but I did come back to work for Walmart later on at a different location and it was a whole lot better. Store 100 and all the stuck up *** and HO people who shop there can go *** themselves!!

Walmart in Altamont, Illinois - Your extended warranty servise is the worst i've ever had.

I've dealt with your barrister warranty company for over a month and have had a tech out to my house 4 times and they can't seem to fix the promblem. I've had four diferent parts put in and the same problem keeps going on. When you call they always want you to do something that's above and beyond my knowledge and a Tech should do. Then when you call and ask for a Supervisor or Manager to call back it' always that there in a meeting or on anothe line and they'll call you back right away. Which they never do. I have about 9 months left on my warranty and I'll use it as necessary. After this I'll never buy another big product or an extended warranty from Walmart and I'll advise my friends and any one else not to either.

Walmart in Austin, Texas - Was greeted by the wal-mart security guy yesterday

This same security that has followed me around the store the last few times I was at the Round Rock, TX store. Nothing rude, but I just let him have it!! I told him I don't appreciate the racism this store has been inflicting on me and I have a good mind to sue the store. He denied that was what I was experiencing, but I know the truth. I then saw him walk by again when I went by the deli to pick up my luncheon meats. Oddly enough I got end pieces Instead of meat when I got home. Round Rock, Texas must be the new KKK capitol of the world.

Walmart in Springdale, Arkansas - Nearly broke my hip in Wal-Mart this morning

I got off my shift at 6 this morning and stopppped off at my local Wal-Mart. I was reaching for the brussel sprouts in the produce section and slipped and fell on the floor. There was no one around so I had no choice but to scream for help. No one heard me for about seems like a whole hour. Another customer came by and saw me and helped me. When an associate did come to help I was ready to just start throwing brussel sprouts at him. I could of died lying there all of that time. I cannot believe there was no one saw me and heard me in a store. Wal mart employees are negligent. They need good whippings all of them.

Walmart - Mistaken Identity

I had a customer complaint this evening that is just beyond explanation. At about 6:30, I get called to the customer service desk to speak with an upset customer. Her complaint was that an associate kept trying to avoid her and dashed into other isles when she tried to flag him down from help. When I asked her for the associates name, she said he did not have a name badge. When I asked her what he looked like, she described that he was wearing a light blue tee-shirt, cargo pants, and bright red Nikes. I told her that I would look into this. Lo and behold, our "mystery associate" appears at the registers up front with these bright red Nikes. After person checked out, I approached the "mystery associate" and asked him if he found everything in our store ok. He responded that he was good, except that some annoying lady kept asking him for help in the vacuum section and that she kept trying to get his name. I realized that this "mystery associate" was no associate at all, but just an unfortunate customer who wore a blue shirt and khakis who was the victim of a *** 1D1OT who would not believe that he did not work at Wal-Mart.
