Walmart in Bloomington, Illinois - Tried to return a camera I got as a gift...wouldn't exchange or refund

Unreal! I had a receipt for a camera I got as a gift. In the fine print at the bottom of the receipt (NEVER mentioned by the sales person) you only have a certain number of days to return or exchange or your STUCK with this item. How fair is that??!! There was no compromise offered from the store. The camera was also purchased w/ an extended warantee. I was told I could contact the company about the waranty...what...? There is nothing wrong with the camera. I haven't even opened it. I don't need it and wanted to exchange it for something I did need or get a refund. I would have even been happy with a WalMart card. As much as I don't like those things. When you return something and get a card that forces you to spend your money in THEIR store. GOD knows I'd love to not have to shop there. However somethings I have to have can only be found there. I HATE WALMART!!!

Walmart credits

went to deposit money on my convenient walmart visa so as to renew no contract wireless internet. I deposit $52.00 costing me $55.00. A three dollar fee for deposit. (no problem I think) I then take my reciept and card home one hundred miles. When I get there and prepare to reload internet I find I no longer have the $52.00 dollars as walmart charged me an additional $2.83 for having the card. I am now far from store with a useless $49.17 card as i needed a minimum balance of $50.00 to renew my wireless net. I have spent over $500.00 a month at wally world for some years now. However using subtle fees will have destroyed that relationship quickly so I must now re-organize my deal finding back to multiple stores and sales thank you. simon

Are their any trained Walmart Managers in Manassas, VA????

2/05/12 Store number: 3673 9401 Liberia Ave, Manassas, VA. This store had two displays at the front of the store. One being the Pepsi 12 packs (which include Dr. Pepper) for $2.75 and a clearance table of toothpaste reduced from 94 cents to 44 cents. I picked up one Diet Pepsi and one Dr. Pepper 12 packs along with 3 of the toothpastes. When I checked out my total was 185.86. When I checked the receipt I was charged 3.98 for the Dr. Pepper and 94 cents for each of the toothpastes. This was Super Bowl Sunday and I really needed to get home. When I got in line there were SEVEN people with TOOTHPASTE waiting for refunds. The woman in front of me asked for a manager since it did not seem anyone was concerned about this. I also asked to speak to a manager. One of the girls said she would call a manager and then SUDDENLY she was the manager. I guess Rosie forgot to read my Customer Service Manager name tag that morning. She did not seem to have any customer service experience and made no attempt to correct the problem. Then she disappeared and never came back. I thought that Walmart had a 100 percent satisfaction guarantee. The money was refunded by Roberto who was patience and apoligized not only for the delay in service but for the price discrepancy. Another manager named Keith spoke to be for about a minute and when told the price difficulty with the Dr. Pepper just walked over to the display and seemed confused that Dr. Pepper (about 300 boxes) was with the Pepsi products. He also NEVER CAME BACK TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Poor Sam Walton is probably rolling in his grave. What every happened to customer service?? Walmart used to be such a proud company and their employees were outstanding. This Walmart has been going downhill fast over the past year. I highly recommend some professional customer service training for Rosie and Keith. Neither of them handled the situation as a well-trained customer service representative would. I will think twice before shopping at this Walmart again.

Walmart in Mount Laurel, New Jersey - No service

Walmart resently opened a huge store in Mt. Pleasant S.C. and i believe it is store number 4384.I have never seen employees this unfriendly and uncaring at a retail store.The last straw was when i was checking out sat.(4th)in the 20 items or less lane.The person did not say one word an had a total blank stare??Having shopped at times for approx. 40 yrs. at Walmart this was a first. I suggest a trip to the nearby Target at Crown Center mall should you need to see how customers should be handled.Yes,you could see me there.

Walmart sells used merchandise

My mom bought a V-Tech phone at walmart that had already been used. It had 40 calls in the caller ID and it came with the wrong adapter for the electricity connection... WTF??? I am telling everyone I know that shops there about this!!! Walmart sucks. This is a very serious issue. Everything that has been used before should marked and sold at a cheaper price. They should also check every single item they get so that they can confirm it has been actually returned with all the pieces it is supposed to have. By the way, this happened in a brand new walmart opened in Pembroke Pines- FL, the exact same day it was opened for the first time. Now I wonder how many miles that phone had to travel so it could be on the market again.

Walmart in Wasilla, Alaska - False advertising

bought a straighttalk 5 mo ago with unlimited card. couldn,t access 411. all the unlimited refill cards I,ve bought say unlimited calls to 411, including the one i bought today. called a straighttalk service rep and was told they disscontinued that service months ago, told me the new # was 1 800 555 1212, recording says service unavailable. is there legal recource? I use 411 alot. it was a selling point when i bought the phone. my phone fits in my shirtpocket; the 5 pound phonebook doesn,t. too busy in real life for the walmart corporate automated recording calls.
