On July 1st, I bought an Elite toaster oven with rotisserie from walmart.com. When the oven arrived, I set it up. My youngest daughter (she was 13) decided to make toast. She dropped a slice on one of the heating elements, and it immediately caught fire. I noticed that there were no guards on the elements. Later that month, I was making hot wings, and used a hot pad to pull them out. The pad touched the element and caught fire. I contacted walmart, and arranged to return the oven. They issued the refund, and sent me a link to print out a return label and shipping instructions. The link was a dead link. I contacted them again, and again received a dead link. One more contact with another dead link. I then received an email that time had expired and they were going to again bill me for the oven. The cost was going to be $50.02, the total cost of the oven. On December 2nd, they force billed my debit card for charges totalling $160.01 for this oven. I am desputing the charges, and have filed a complaint with the BBB. I have also filed a complaint with the Consumer Products Safety Commission about the oven. I have noticed that the website has labeled the oven as only being available in stores. DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN!!! IT IS A FIRE HAZARD!!!

Your biggest mistake was in using a debit card instead of a credit card. Why would anyone use a debit card??

With a credit card, you don't pay if something like this happens. You dispute the charge and, in a situation like yours, you will prevail. With a debit card, your money is gone. Now you know.

This is how we learn. By the way, why in the world would anyone order online at WalMart?

Ok ...first of all you can dispute charges on a debit card and second not everyone has or wants a credit card! So how she paid for it doesn't matter..what matters is they need to stand behind the products they sell and the old saying "customers are always right" is still said around merchants.

What are worst experience I got from Walmart!! Today My family wasted whole Black Friday Day shopping on Walmart. I wanted to buy new phone to my son. Walmart had 1page advertisement for iPhone Deal with at&t. I checked web, I knew Target and Best Buy has same deal. But I choose Walmart and it was biggest mistake what I made and it ruined my day. I went there 5pm because deal start 6pm. I was first one of line and I made a appointed for iphone 6s. I waited until 9pm because it is first schedule for activation. During the activation, they realized the iphone was not for at&t. There were no iphone 6s from the beginning, they only had iPhone 6 and they advertised like they have all of iPhone models even they mention for all models included iphone 6s and iPhone 6s plus. Is It total deceiving of customers!!!! If we know they doesn't have iPhone 6s, we would not go there and waited. In my case, they confused with even phone. Because of it we waited for that deals...4 hours. The person who did activation for us call manager, the manager offered $100 store card, we want to talk him, he doesn't show up for more than 15mins. the other manager, Tim Graves came and said what!!! they just sell what they get not even matter whatever advertise said. He is not even sorry to us and he said he could not offer $100 because we complain at him. He said you know how many people wait and go empty hand because we doesn't have stocks, go home I will contact at&t and let you know when we can get a phone... without "any apologize". That's it.... He just so mad I record when he talks. how I CAN NOT RECORD THIS KIND OF EXPERIENCE.... It shocking experience WHAT COMPONY treats customer like this. We left a store ( Walmart at Buffalo Grove at IL) at 10.00p.m. Later My husband go Best Buy for my son's iPhone 6s. He call me Best Buy has all of iPhone models(he doesn't bring my son's old iPhone). They go Target and Target has all of iPhone models. What are different from Walmart. Same advertisement!!! Who deceiving customers with it!!! Walmart!!! shame on you!!!

It is not decieving. They only have a certain amount of product in stock and not all stores carry the same thing.

On top of that, Walmart doesn't even specialize in electronics.

You should have gone to Best Buy in the first place.

It was local deal sheets. I think this case "limited supply" could not cover up "no supply".

As your way, Nationwide company has only one in stock and advertise on nationwide, still o.k right?

It is company' s ethic. I know it is Walmart. What I expects!

But you know what, Walmart is selling more than Best Buy on electronics.

I had a REALLY BAD experience with the young man name Nathan at the deli at Rt. 17 Walmart, Fredericksburg, Virginia. This was not the first time I've experience such bad services. Thus clerk's name is Nathan. He never even asked me what thickness of cuts l wanted. I pointed to what I wanted, he automatically assumed i wanted the thinner slices everytime. But when i told him that was not the slices i preferred, he had such attitude and told me he had already sliced it. What an ***!! I've been to this deli many times before, most times with other clerks, he seemed to be in a hurry and quick to rush me as a paying customer away not caring if i needed anything other than the one cuts of meats. This particular day i was planning a party and he was not attentive to my needs. Other times i placed offers in, it's not what i wanted he throws it away and rolls his eyes and raised his voice towards me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! Like I've written, he is an ***!!

I am sure that you saw him cutting the meat when he started, why did you not notice it was too thin then. Did you need an adult to speak up for you?

Does mommy know you are writing about this. I know you are a child because you are so big on what is professional, and what is not, and an adult would know that name calling is not professional.

Also I guess you needed an adult to tell him that you wanted more meat. I know you are young, and being what three years old you expected him to read your mind, but that is not how things work, you have to speak up, and if you cannot do that yourself get mommy to do it for you.

Worst customer service on earth

I use the same credit card to buy the T-mobile Sims a month ago, and now I want to refill but Walmart rejected my order without any detailed reason. I am a good buyer with 700+ credit score and a Amazon Prime member. I just moved from Australia so I bought everything online. I used to experience one issue with Walmart a couple of months ago. I ordered a Roku TV which arrived in damage, I returned immediately (UPS store is just opposite to my house) but one month later Walmart charged me for not returning the TV. I need to send a number of emails and make a number of calls. There are NO Appologies and NO Goodwill refund. Amazon Prime used to give me 30$ cash back just for a small mistake they made to my order. It was totally waste of time to do purchase with Walmart and I have really BAD feeling for Walmart Customer Service. (I would say the Worst Customer Service I have experienced so far). Thanks!

The main thing for you to do is never, ever order anything from Walmart. Their customer service reputation is next to nil and it is wise to avoid them, both online and in-store.

I bought a set of two tires 235/60/17 good year viva 3 seven months ago the tire are bad and worn out already. I went back to the west Sacramento store and talked to tire manager Isabel and looked at the tires with a mother worker and confirmed that the tires are bad,these tires have 60,000mile warranty but she refused to go by the warranty and gave me *** reasons such as the tires has to be rotated every six months and told her to show me there was no clue In the warranty about such reasoning any way she is the worst manager I ever seen I advise every one not to buy this tire and get better quality even if it cost more

Did Not Get order from Walmart.ca on line shopping.

On 11/27/2015 I ordered a Weslo cardiostride 3.0 treadmill. I had gone to the post office to get a prepaid cc that day. So I tried to order the treadmill on line. The order wouldn't go thru so I phoned in the order. I waited for the confirmation to come into my email, nothing. So I phoned customer service. The said my order did not exist. But on the 11/27/2015 they took $113.79 payment from my cc. They told me that I had to reorder and pay again. I told customer service they all ready took my money just send the treadmill. I was then told the order could not be filled if I didn't pay for it. I was told several times to reorder and pay again. I finally got hold of the cc company they sent me forms to fill out so they could get my money back. Since I ordered the treadmill I have been told several time buy customer service at Walmart there is nothing they can do about an order they hadn't received. I asked how could they loose an order but still have my cc number. I was told that they had my cc number since 2013. Which to me was not true because I had just purchased it from the post office on the 11/27/2015. All Walmart customer service can say to me is they didn't receive my order and there is nothing they can do about it. They won't send the treadmill, but they took my money. I am 72 years old and live on a limited pension. Walmart steals from old ladies, and tells you there is nothing they can do. I will never shop on line Walmart.ca again. I do tell all my friends about this experience and tell them not to order. I have ordered from Texas and got the order thru customs with no problem, They accepted a postal money order, but I can't get an order from Walmart in Ontario Canada. I live in BC, Canada.

Wal mart said I got free tire rotation with my new tire purchase but when I tried to get them rotated they didn't have time to honor their word. I've tried four times and now my tires are so unevenly worn I'm going to have to buy new ones somewhere else. What a rip off. I tried to find a corporte address to write a complaint to them but was unable. Does anyone know if there is any kind of group action law suite against this that I can sign up for ? Preferred solution: Make an appointment and honor it. No more saying it will be three hours or we can't get to it. And if I don't get the forty five thousand miles from my tires now because you have not rotated them when I tried to get you to then honor the warranty.

Beware of Printer Purchase.

This problem is with New Castle DE Walmart. But in general, it can happen to other Walmart. There management sucks. I wanted to buy two Epson XP-320 printers. The store only had two left. I noticed one of the printers looked like it was opened. I asked the employee to open the printer. He told me to go ahead if I was going to buy it. After I opened the first printer, I found the cartridges were missing. The printer looks like it was returned and put back on the shelf. So I decided to buy the one that looks like it wasn't opened. I was wrong, when I got home I found out that printer was opened also. Worst yet, the printer serial number did not match the one on the box. Walmart refused to refund my purchase. Long story short, other Walmart stores tried to help put couldn't because of mismatched serial numbers. Somewhere in Walmart supply chain there is a problem or that store has major problem. Lesson, If it is a printer, inspect your purchase at the store and make sure the serial number match the box. Make sure the box has not been opened.

COMPLAINT. Today I had an Appointment at my Childs Dentistry. Said I had to not bottle Feed my baby no more because of hes teeth. So after my appointment went To Nearest Walmart; Cary. I was looking for transitioning bottle to cup came across NUK 10oz Cup was the only one there in the bottle came across another one damaged so I went to Checkout in Aile 25 if im not mistaking the last aile He Man couldnt help me when i asked hem to give me discount told me Manager was in a Meeting so recommended me to go to Costumer Services walked fine arrived there waited Patiently in Line until she acknowlwdge me was sitting in Chair. Then i asked her if i could a discount of the packaging and she RUDELY REPLY WE DONT GIVE DISCOUNT ONLY IF THE MERCHANDISE IS BROKEN. But didn't argue with her So I Paid for 2 NUK Active Cup and a Lunch Bag For My Son. I came out really upset. Being thats my Walmart i always go. For my Grocery. Its just Sad that couldnt help me being im a Loyal Costumer there!

I was in the store. And after paying for my stuff. I got in the line of Mc Donald inside tge walmart an associate was before me. He smells to strong of the marihuana smella that I got see and have to used my asthma medicine. The nasty smella was to strong. How can a manager allow that in the store? And he was so strong that it was other customers in line. Everybody kept looking each other like unbeliable. We going to store to enjoy our shopping not to be in this situation.

Walmart contacted me within 24 hours of filing a complaint with the BBB I'm happy to say fraudulent charges were reversed upon submitting affadavit of identity theft and the copy police report I filed on day I became aware of fraudulent charges.

My account was hacked on 6/21/2015 and 2 straight talk phone plans purchase for total of $385. I immediately tried to cancel upon seeing charges on on bank account.

Unable to process the cancellation I contacted walmart.com customer care to inform them of fraudulent charges. They said they could not reverse charges and instructed me to contact my financial institution. Ive contacted customer care to file complaint and still will not reverse charges. 3 months later Walmart denied the fraudulent charges because they have my name and address.

Of course they have my information I am a past customer. I have proof 1 plan was cancelled and Walmart still refuses to refund me the charges.

I am now out of $385 and my bank Union Bank said they cant do anything.

If your account was truly hacked it would seem that either Walmart or your financial institution would have conducted an investigation ( which is the process) and would determine if you yourself had made the purchase or your account had been hacked. Neither one found any evidence of your account being hacked so that's that. End of story.

I use to think like you before it happened to me and trusted that a big corporation like Walmart.com is keeps it customers accounts secure. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

Educating myself on not having online accounts with merchants and only using a credit card making purchase as a guest ONLY. My credit card's financial institution Wells Fargo monitors my activity and transactions and does not allow transactions to be process that are out of ordinary at time or purchases for me without making direct contact and verifying the transaction an 11pm purchase would have never been processed without contact.

Inconvenient but its definitely safer to use my credit card than a bank card because merchant will not be paid without a hard copy of documentation of delivery of purchase if I dispute the charges. I took for granted that my financial institution would also protect me.

Lesson learned time to change financial institutions.

Savings Catcher

As a former Walmart cashier, I have seen some customers save a lot with the Savings Catcher, and some customers save little with it. It really depends on what sorts of items you buy the most often. I really suggest you check out Walmart's FAQ on the Savings Catcher, especially the "Matching" section that says what is matched and what isn't.

Some customers redeemed their savings every time they saved a couple bucks. Some let the savings rack up to use in very inventive ways, such as an emergency fund for groceries if money gets tight, or to use later in the year on Christmas gifts.

There was one couple that let their savings accumulate and were able to buy their child a $100+ bicycle just with their savings for his birthday.

I'm not a Walmart fan girl or anything. I just think Walmart gets a lot of flack on its own, without misunderstandings about how something like the Savings Catcher really works.

I use the app and love it. Sometimes only get cents back because many of my purchases are Great Value and cannot be matched.

But there is no obligation for Walmart to provide this FREE service, let alone refund any costs. I am happy with everything that comes back, it's not a lot yet, but still money that I considered spent.

It's free money people! Shut up and take it or don't use the app and don't have it at all.

I was one of the people who waited up til 201 am here in central time. I tried repeatedly to place an order. The site crashed over and over. Finally i got a couple of items in my cart and then it totally crashed again. This is completely ridiculous to us as consumers. If you cannot prepare your system for this sale then don't do it. One more thing I'd like to add is that they need to go back to black friday on FRIDAY. Stop cutting into one of the few days a year we get to spend with our families. I wish I could never shop there again.
