Abusive Assitant Mgr.

Walmart in Vernon, TX...On Friday, Dec.18,2015, approx. 8:30 pm, Asst. Mgr. "Josie" stopped a young associate as she was walking down the aisle. Talking very loudly and mean, in front of several 151220-****19 other customers, Josie scolded the girl apparently for no reason. She asked her if she unloaded a frozen flat , the girl politely replied yes; she said did you get that bin cleaned up, the girl very humbly replied," yes and then I went to the front for an hour to help checkers." Who told you to do that? The girl gave a name I do not remember. The ***. Mgr. replied very harshly, "Well all right then get back to work!" and let the girl continue to walk off. The associate's eyes were red as if she just wanted to cry. I would have cried and then would have walked off that *** job! The same ***. mgr. dressed down an associate last summer while he helped me turn on a radio. I had seen him walking past and I needed help. Josie walked up and pushed his hand away from the machine saying, "You don't have any right to be here. He apologized and walked off. I should have reported her then but didn't She is a tyrant and a bully. These employees are dedicated, kind, clean... not druggy looking. "Josie" needs to be gone! gone! Shame on Vernon for not taking care of good employees while rewarding bullies.

Walmart Moneycard

My money was direct deposited on my Walmart moneycard and then I lost the card, I had to wait two weeks to be able to get a hold of my money. In the meantime my rent and car payment was late, I had no food in the house.

Here I had over $1200 in my acct. When I call up Walmart Moneycard, they can't help or give me to a Supervisor. I am withdrawing all my money off the card and never using them again. They have poor customer service and you can never speak to a Supervisor.

Then I got someone else on the phone and they just stopped me in mid sentence and put me back in the hold Q. Then I got transferred about 3 other times just to get my money. Still no help..... I will never do business with Walmart money card again.

It's also making me not want to shop at Walmart.

If their money card people will do that then why is the store any better. I'm so done with Walmart.

You lost the card. Point blank.

Even if it was a real credit card, it would have taken that long to get a replacement. Research first before blaming others.

When someone is on their break they are not required to help you. That is their time.

They are not being paid at that time so they are not supposed to help you. Your demanding you are helped when they are on their own free time is what is rude.

Some companies punish people for working on their break. Though she should not be wearing her uniform while on break to avoid confusion.

Excuse me, but where did I say that she was in uniform? I never stated this.

She was not in uniform, hence she was on break or not working that day. I already knew this. She is an employee of the store, and is required to help me 24/7. It does not matter if it is her day off or if she is on break.

Her excuse was she only gets 15 minutes for break and had no time to help me because she wanted to buy something.

I bet with her rude attitude she was buying pads because she was on her period. No need for you to be rude to me.

Also I knew she was an employee of the store because I shop there all the time. She needs to be fired, and if she really needs her pads or tampons or whatever she needs (she needs medication) she should be shopping at another store.

I had a check I received for jury duty svc and figured I'd cash it @ walmart and do a little shopping. To my surprise I was treated like a criminal! I felt incredibly insulted. Needless to say the rude cashier didn't cash the check and I went elsewhere. Why should I patronize that corporation going forward? I'm a 53 year old housewife! I have always shopped @ WalMart and this incident has truly blindsided me!

Hmmmm. They probably saw the word "court".

or " jury" and panicked. The cashier shouldn't be judgmental - just cash the darn check if appropriate. Everybody is so wound up these days in this country. This country needs healing - some how.

An overhaul.

I quit Walmart after a manager was aggravating and exploiting my disability. I filed a written complaint with the store manager and got absolutely no response.

I also filed a complaint with the Walmart Ethics Committee and shortly after doing so my payroll was reversed. My complaint is being alleged investigated, however it cannot be explained why money was removed from my account without my permission. They are in violation of the law knowingly and I think the most that can be done is to complete a wage claim form with the Labor Dept.

"Save Money, Live Better" is a great money. They save money on payroll by stealing your money which allows the CEO and his stockholder buddies to live better on his yacht!

Walmart - Credit Card Review from Tualatin, Oregon

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Ok i must say i am so so upset with walmart customer service to the point i am ready to never shop at walmart and close my credit card. When I say customer service i am talking about there 1800 number. So let me first say I enjoy shopping at walmart to the point i wanted to get a credit card with them cause i spend a lot of money there and why not. I went in on a afternoon walk up to the cashier and told her i would like to open an account so she took my driver license and gave her one of my other credit cards so she did her thing and it came back to where i have to call the 800 number with more info. So that same day i called and boom i got approve. When the first representative came on the line I really couldn't hear her that will and I thought maybe it was my phone. So she pulled up my account and I got approved then I ask your question she can I answer for me so she transfer me to customer service. So then another man came on the phone and I have questions then I also realized I needed to let him know my address because not once did anyone ask for my address to make sure it was the right address where the card was going to be sent to. Once again the connection was very bad. I noticed that the gentleman of speaking to did not speak the best English so I asked him to please repeat the information that I gave him, so I know that we're both on the same page and that he had the right information. The gentleman did not repeat the information back to me I asked him 3 times to please do it and once again he did not. At that point I became very frustrated because I was being told so many different answers to the questions that I had. And at this point I had to get back to work. The next day I went in on a Wednesday July 8 which happened to be my birthday I went to the customer service desk. Told her the situation she called customer service on the phone. This time around I noticed that the connection was still horrible meaning I could not hear the representative on the other line. I told the gentleman on the phone what was going on because I was told that I can use my account even though I did not have the credit card in my hand. He asked me several times to repeat my social security number which I did not feel comfortable with because there's a big line right behind me and everyone can hear me. To me social security number is a very private information so the lady at the front desk let me come around the desk so I can give my number out. The representative did not understand me and all I wanted to know is how can I use my card or should I say my temporary number. So after 20 minutes spending time on the phone with him he finally told me that I use my drivers license when I go to the checkout line. So then I went into the store which is in Tigard Oregon did all my shopping spent over $200 whether to the cashier to pay gave her my driver's license. Came back as declined, she actually was so nice and she even remember me when I came in on that Wednesday. So that I have a supervisor take me to customer service. She call the 1-800 number and the office was closed. She did not call up the manager and yet I felt so embarrassed. I explained her full house full that I've been through the last week. I somewhat feel like no one wanted to help me and I was trying to keep my cool which I did but when everything was said and done I walked away without my purchased. So now I have to call back customer service tomorrow find out if they have the right number on file. And never had to deal with such a run around. Is very frustrating that all my information that I gave out to a company but yet no one can verify the the information that I given them to make sure we're on the same page. I walked away feeling embarrassed I even had tears coming down because I feel like I did not get the answer or help i been asking for the last week. The employee remember me her name is Joyce she works at the Tigard Oregon very nice woman she had awesome customer service. I don't know if i spelt her name correct when I went in on July 12 around 9 o'clock p.m.. But I feel like the supervisor could have done a little bit more for me as a customer. I normally do not write bad reviews whatsoever but I state my frustrations. My curiosity is why did the supervisor and not call the manager at the front desk and help me the customer? Customer service means you're there to give good customer service to make sure your customers are satisfied and taking care of this so that customers keep coming back. Anyways just know is very difficult calling customer service when the representatives cannot understand me And yet unfortunately their English is not that great. I am NOT racist and not meaning that comment in a harsh way but that's a lack of communication when there is valid and important information given and yet it's your information and they cannot repeat it back to you.

Wouldnt have been less complicated to wait for the card? No offence, but if you tried to pay me with a drivers licence.

I would have looked at you like you were insane, and they can't just let you roll out of the store with $200 bucks of unpaid stuff. Plus, you said you left with.

Nothing....Did you not even have the phsyical money to actually pay in case the card didnt work. Kinda sounds like to me you shouldnt have a credit card.

Difficulty getting full refund (including core) for auto battery

092315; I purchased a group 24F auto battery from Wal Mart for $104.97 by credit card, plus an old battery for the core. It was a "5 year" battery.

092415; I returned the Wal Mart battery, unused. They refunded the $104.97 in cash and the customer service manager basically said that's all I had coming to me. They could not give me the old battery back, because they had sent them out the day before. She explained about it being a core, and that I could not get it back. This didn't make sense to me.

If I did not have a core in the first place, the battery would cost $116.97.

In a nutshell, I gave Wal Mart $104.97 and an old battery to pay for their new battery. Then I brought the battery back and with what they gave me in exchange, I would not be able to buy their battery again if I wanted to.

Another manager type person saw my point, and I was given the $12 in cash for my core... To be fair about this, they could have given me a rain check for somebody's core when one came in! But the $12 was reasonable instead.

I returned the Wal Mart battery because I found a 7 year, 24F battery from Bi Mart for $79.99 instead.

I came out okay but it was a bit of a hassle.

Walmart policy on battery exchange is dumb. I purchased a Walmart battery with a 5 year warranty.

After one year the battery lost it's charge. I exchanged the battery for a new one but I had to pay a core fee of 12 dollars. I explained that the returned battery was the core, they disagreed and asked for the 11 dollars.

When I purchased the first battery I took in the old battery (core ), why would I have an additional battery. Just ***!

You are right . I am a Zone Manager over the front end at one of the many walmarts and credit is not returned in cash hence it is a credit line not real cash.

I turned in my old battery the first time, and it was worth $12 credit toward a new battery.

So if I left the store with only the $104.97, then I would have to pay full price for a battery elsewhere. If the shelf price at Bi Mart is $79.99, then I would have to pay $91.99 because I no longer had my core.

I do too, but sometimes when a grown man acts like a five year old and throws a temper tantrum because he did not get what he wanted the best thing is to give in to them, but that is not a good strategy, because it teaches him he can throw a temper tantrum again and get his way.

Wow, nobody but Kevin can do math, walmart Nasically bought the old battery for $12, by discounting the new battery to 104. When the new battery was returned, he should receive 104 plus the old battery or $116, because If he goes to buy the exact same battery at Walmart it will cost 116, and now he has no core to receive the $12 discount and by the battery for the same price.

Hello, somebody please write it down so you can understand it better.

When he returned the new battery in itself he was also returning the core as one. Some people just can't understand simple things.

Brandom Gvv

"You were not entitled to a refund on the core charge because they had already deducted the $12.00 from the price of the new battery when you purchased it. You said yourself that if you hadn't brought the old battery in then the price of the new battery would have been $116.97 instead of the $104.97 that you paid for it."

I paid $104.97 PLUS my old battery.

In other words, the old battery had tangible value. I could not turn around and buy another Wal Mart battery with the $104.97 alone.

"You were refunded what you paid and I'm sure you knew that the old battery could not be returned to you the following day as they are sent to be recycled and there is no way of identifying which old battery was yours anyway."

I was refunded the dollar amount but I was not refunded the battery. Returning any old battery also would have been fair.

Like I was saying, I would have settled for "somebody's" old battery. That old battery would have had $12 worth of VALUE that I could use to reduce the price of a new battery at any store.

"Why would you think you were due a refund for something you never paid for?" But I originally DID pay for the core. At one time it was a working battery that I had paid for. "Sounds like a scam to me." I don't understand you. "Also, if you paid with a credit card, your refund should have gone back onto the card you used and not given in cash.

The whole thing sounds fishy." I too thought it was unusual that they refunded me in cash, so I mentioned it. You seem to insinuate that I'm not telling it like it happened. You're entitled to your opinion of course. But if you haven't done your research, what's that opinion worth?

If you want, call the folks at the Cottage Grove Wal Mart, (541) 942-****. There was a young trainee customer service lady who took care of me, as well as her trainer.

Her trainer called I think the store manager on the phone, and he agreed with her. Then another manager type lady came by and listened to things, said she saw my point, and told the trainee to pay the $12.

Walmart - Security Guard Review from New York, New York

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Same thing happened to me and my wife. We had a couple hundred dollars in groceries and were forced through self checkout due to lack of full service lines being open.

a half dozen items were missed or didn't scan do to the poor set up, the lone cashier noticed and instead of helping contacted their minimum wage security guard who stopped us on the way out of the store. I thought it was a joke. This guy was dressed in stained, grubby clothing, not a uniform. So I kept walking.

He pulls my cart with force to the side. Accuses me of larceny and starts barking orders. I, being a NY State Officer, hit him with my badge and demand his ID. He produces some faded security ID from some fly by night security certification company, no Peace Officer status whatsoever.

I knew I should have just left at that point, but not wanting to commit any possible larceny agree to let him check our stuff and I will make good on the mistake. He checks, finds half a dozen things totaling $36 not scanned, I figure no big deal, pull out my credit card, but nope. Mr Security decides to flex his muscles and go forward with "the case". Laughing I said we have a cart full of items, paid for 90% of them, do you really think we would risk a larceny charge with our 5yr old present, risk my career over $36?

He said he sees it all the time. I counter that and say, you see mistakes, not crimes. I then point out he has no proof of intent for a charge or RCTB because there was no intent evidenced by the fact that the majority of stuff was scanned and paid for. Mr Security is shaking in his boots, pulls me to his "office", also known as a closet with a computer and surveillance equipment, calls his manager and shows me the video of my wife scanning items.

Out of nowhere he yells, " there did you see it". The manager and I look on baffled and he explains the item didn't scan. He then says that's the first mistake. I laughed, and said, "mistake, guy, mistake, not intent".

At this point my wife is irrate because he is scaring my 5yr old. Mr Security " understands though", right, so he is going to keep it in house and Walmart is going to "demand" a civil penalty. We do the paperwork, again wanting to cooperate and not have to beat the snot out of Mr Security to "escape" his "custody". Now here we are 2 months later receiving demand letters from some parasite attorney named Michael IRA Asen "Attorney at Law".

They are demanding $176 as a Civil Penalty under NY General Obligations Law. Well, I have news for Walmart and " Attorney at Law" Asen, we aren't paying. As a matter of fact if I receive one more notice I am going to risk the $176 and file a claim of harassment and such against Walmart and anyone representing them. My wife was never trained to operate their registers.

She intended on doing so in good faith, but made a mistake. What's more is the store employees knew mistakes were occurring but rather than help, turned it into a criminal case.

Why would they do that, unless they were trained to do so in order to make additional money for Walmart through these civil penalties. Welcome to my world Walmart, I am gonna take you through the coals...

I seriously doubt that your a cop. You make a lot of excuses.

You don't have to be trained at a self checkout.

You were stealing and got caught plain and simple! Your whole story made that obvious.

I do to doubt this man is a cop. If he were he would know that thieves use that exact same excuse.

I forgot to scan the item. I forgot to pay for the item.

I did not see the red light as I was picking up the vodka bottle I dropped. ect.

Guest

If you're doing self-check each items comes up on the screen as it is scanned. Too bad neither one of you were watching anything as you scanned.

Cop or not (which is doubtful) what they saw was you leaving with items you had not paid for. IF you are a cop you would arrest someone for shoplifting if they left without paying.

I went in today to return an item and I had a very nice experience with a young woman named Julie. I noticed workers in the area were not doing their jobs, but just standing around and talking to one another. Couldn't they at least help this woman get the long line down that she had? I noticed before she got to me that she was trying to handle the carts on the side by herself, while none of her coworkers were helping her. I was very disappointed to see how lazy your employees are. A lot of the customers were upset waiting in the long line because no one else would step up and help us customers.

If they are not trained to work at the customer service desk then they were unable to help get her line down. There is a big difference in running a front end register and working customer service desk. Before you call people lazy and not doing their jobs, how about educating yourself on what other peoples jobs are first and what they are trained for.

Old Gummi Bears

I bought some gummi bears at the Walmart in noblesville indiana. They were old and hard, like trying to chomp on a rock while eating them. The CSM Eli tried to accuse me of trying to return gummi bears that were, according to Eli, were purchased TWO YEARS AGO. Over and over again. I cannot think of any reason to keep a bag of gummi bears for two years, heck in some cases even two days. All I want is either a refund or fresh gummi bears.

Unsanitary !!

I was shopping in your Forte Apache, Tropicana store on 12/29/2015 and I couldn't believe 4 different people pushing carts with dogs in them. I was outraged that this is allowed !!

The same carts that we put groceries in !! Being used as dog carriers !! Very unsanitary !! I will never buy groceries at your store !!

I know there has to be some sort of health laws on this. I am not an animal hater just complaining !! I have a dog that I simply adore but I would never take her to the grocery store !! Very turned off by the thought of a loaf of bread or lunch meat or any food being placed in a cart that a dog has slobbered in.

Walmart not the company it use to be. Looking for a better place to shop.
