Walmart Extended Service Plan. Shady Business.Nothing covered under plan.

I purchased an extended service plan for my laptop through walmart.com.I recently ran in to 3 different problems with my laptop and thought since I had the service plan i would use it and get my problems fixed.Boy was I wrong.When I contacted the company about my problems the lady told me all 3 problems were covered.I mailed my laptop to the company that was to fix it and when I got my computer back IT WASNT FIXED!When I contacted Walmart and asked why my problems(a broken click key,a broken ac adapter hole,and cd burner not working)were not taken care of..they informed me that they do not cover cd burners so because they wont cover that they wont cover ANY of my problems.I basically paid them $70 for no reason!They say they cover normal wear and tear(the lady at customer service told me those problems do happen over time so they would be covered)but when you actually want something fixed dont expect them to do anything about it.They got your money thats all they care about.I tried to write a review on their website and they wont post it....shady much??!!?

Walmart withhods tax refunds.

I have a sales tax exemption. At Walmarts request this document is sent to Walmart for online purchases. OK I did it. Now I have an account for ordering online. Now instead of arranging things where if I order an item the sales tax is deleted I am required to pay the tax and then attempt to notify Walmart accounting that I have made a purchase and then they will refund. *** way to do business. So I then send email which is then supposed to passed on to accounting. This never happens in a timely fashion and several contacts are required. I now have one pending for three weeks with 3 emails and one telephone call. This means that Walmart is holding and using assets. Multiply that and you begin to smell a rat. Time for legal action? This company thinks they can do what the *** they want to do.

Walmart in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania - DO NOT USE INSTORE REGISTRY

I have never delt with such incompetent people. After my mother and I purchased items from a baby gift registry and we each made separate purchases, none of the items were taken off the registry. When I called, I was told to bring the items back to the store and they would take them off. I told them with the price of gasoline these days, this suggestion was unacceptable especially due to the fact THEY made the mistake. I was told they were sorry, but, they could not delete the items from the list over the phone. Wal-Mart, here I come!

Walmart in Toronto, Ontario - Insulted by their racism.

I saw this new flavor of chips and bought them. I bought two packages thinking I would like the new flavor. Roasted Potato. I opened one package and did not like it so I returned the other package to the store. They asked why I was returning and they I told them the truth, about how I thought I would like the flavor but it was not as good as I thought it would be. I was shopping around later when I found my the chips I have returned in a buggy along with other "defective" products. There was a slip of paper on the package saying "returned" I asked the person pushing it why they were not putting an UNOPENED package on the shelf, and I was told that they have to get rid of all food which is returned for safety reasons. Now let me tell you I am black. I guess because I am black he would think that I would contaminate and poison the package of chips before returning them. I would never do this. I have two children ages three and seven. Why would I poison the chips to make other people including children sick. I was very offended that he did not put the package back on the shelf and had I been white, there would be no concern for "health reasons" He may as well out admit it. I think you put poison or contaminated this package.

Walmart in Greenville, South Carolina - Rude Employees and Shorting Customers

I use another Wal Mart mainly because the one that is 10 min from my home has nothing but rude employees thinking they own the store. I've made several complaints, none taken to seriously. Bought some frozen biscuits at the Knoxville Wal Mart that said 20 per pack but when I opened the pack it only had 12. I looked at the package, it for sure said 20 biscuits. If you can't deal with your rude employees at one store,cheating the customers in another,How much longer should we put up with this so called super store?

Walmart in Ludington, Michigan - Customer service

I live in ludington mi. 49431 I use the walmart there often, but not as often as i use to. I over the past years been to several of your walmart stores around michigan and even in wisconsin. The store in Ludington 49431 is by far the worst by far. The other stores are so much better at costomer check out. People are waiting at the end the lines and some stores even have self check out. Wow the satifaction you can get when your able to get your stuff and then check out. Ludington sucks to be honest!!! Please get some help for the Ludington store.

Bad Walmart experience: For as long as I can remember I have always made my purchases at Walmart for the low prices and selection of products they offer. The other day I shopped around store to store looking for a futon I liked and ended up purchasing one at walmart for $119.00 a bit more than I wanted to spend but I went for it anyways. 3 weeks later that same futon went on sale for 89.00. I went into the store to try and get the 30.00 back as a courtesy credit for the price difference since walmart is so big on advertising there prices matches and things of that nature. I was informed by the customer service employee, customer service manager and General manager that I could not get the difference in price since it was over 7 days but what I could do is bring the futon back (take it apart) and repurchase it for the 30.00 credit. So I calmly proceeded to tell the GM that this was not a toaster we were talking about but a piece of furniture, then I showed the GM my receipts for my recent purchases at walmart that added up to over 800.00 in the past month or so (and that was just the receipts I could find). She insisted this did not matter and basically told me there is nothing she can do. I dont understand how a store policy will allow me to return an item since I am within that time frame but will not allow me to get my price difference with just the receipt and how I could be treated so poorly at a store I consistantly shop at an am loyal to. I even wrote corporate and got a generic response on store policy even though I linked my receipt numbers and amounts of the receipts. I know $30.00 is not a lot of money but in this economy everything adds up and a growing company such as walmart is now simply dismissing its customers who have been loyal shoppers.

Walmart in Hickory, North Carolina - After been the first customer in line, i was pass by four times.

i went to the store that i go everyday to spend my hard earn money, and no one was in the jewerly department, so i waited for about 10 min., and no one came so i went to get help and when she came she went to 3 customers before she came to me and she seen that i was there first, she talk about the customer going to another store to find what he needed and i waited with my sons for about 30 min. in all. after the 3rd customer i went to tell her that i was there first, but she was rude and her name was heather and this was july 29, 2011 at 10:11, they treat people bad and when you complain they say are going to take care of it,but they don't. i spend 400.00 every other week in walmart,but i'll go somewhere else if its going to be like this.

WalMart horrible customer service

I ordered a product online and it stated it was in stock, so I pay for 2 day shipping. Then I get an email stating it is on backorder. So I call to see if they can give a time frame. They say that they won't know and after 10 days, a refund is issued. I may get it and I may not get it. I need the product, that's why I paid extra for the shipping. I want some info, not a maybe and then to keep my shipping cost that no longer applies. Horrible customer service and policies. Good luck buying online from Walmart.
