I will first start off by saying that I am in my late 20s. I decided to stop at my local Walmart for a movie. I picked one and went to the nearest express. When it came my turn and the cashier scanned my item, the register made this weird noise. The cashier then asked...

Walmart hires such incompitent and rude cashiers. I only had two items for this trip. When I got up to the four express lines, all were jammed up. The register with the shortest line had the cashier I absolutely despise. He is so slow it is unbelievable they hire ...

Walmart in Manchester, Kentucky - Only 1 check out lane open

I am complaining about the Corbin Kentucky WalMart. There are never more than 2 or 3 registers open, usually like this morning only 1 register in the whole store. They may consider self check out ok but I think if a person is spending over $1oo. at a time in your store there should be some customer service involved. It seems to get worse every time I go, if you approach an associate for help they run the other way as fast as they can. There is no chance of asking a question so if I can't find something I just don't get it.

My least favorite people are the ones that complain about customer service and checkout lanes at Walmart. Excuse me but how do you this they keep their prices so low?

Not by staffing every single lane, that's for sure, and certainly not by keeping their staff non-disgruntled! If you want fast and friendly service, go to a store that isn't afraid to mark up their prices by a few cents so that they can budget their labor less expendably and treat them right.

You must be one of those hispanics who is on welfare. They are always whipping out $100 and $50 bills to pay for purchases under $20.

The above statements are racism.

The cashier was following company procedures.

Or, would you rather have some unfortunate person lose his/her job because you believe you are entitled?

Walmart in Flagstaff, Arizona - Missing items when you get home

I have been shopping at Walmart for 5 years, once a month for all my food and supplies. The last four months in a row when I got home there were missing items, as few as one and as many as five. This last time I made a point of checking the carousel before leaving, which annoyed the unfriendly checkout guy, and there was still an item missing when I got home. When you call the managers just tell you to come back to the store. I ask them if they'll pay my gas at $3.40 a gallon.

The adult thing to do would be to check that you left with everything. If this happened four times should you not think to check.

lol this is hilarious. I work at Wal-Mart as a cart pusher and see stuff fall out of people's bags as they go to there car and I always have to say hey you dropped your "so in so" "so in so". So that's probably what happened to you

It is your responsibility to verify that YOU have all YOUR purchases when you leave the store. The manager didn't have to replace your merchandise. Put your big boy or big girl pants on and take responsibility for YOUR actions.

This has been happening to me. When I went back yesterday with my receipt they made me stand there like a criminal when someone went in the back to view the recording.

They finally came out and said it was placed in a separate bag. I asked the gentleman when I left if I had all my bags and he said yes. Now three items are missing. I checked my car.

They are not there.

They did not apologize or even smile. They treated me like frap.

@ Hogwarts Student Zachary: I agree with you on that much. I found the letter suspicious as well.

@ Tasha: I was referring to the response to the original post, not the post itself. As previously suggested, perhaps you should read what is being said rather than assuming there is something questionable going on. And to think I was once impressed at how articulate and intelligent you seemed to be for someone so young.

@ Anni: Thank you, for clarifying on my behalf. I'm glad to see there are still people on this site who can actually read before immediately jumping to accusations. As you'd already stated, I was simply pointing out that I wasn't going to take the supposed comments from the original poster into consideration when responding to the initial complaint.

@ The Original Poster: I'm sorry to see this post of yours has gotten so far off-track. I can't say I agree with your complaint but I do feel people should have a right to post to this site without being bullied by others.

Shouldn't Wal-Mart be the one writing complaints against you for the inconvenience of you forgetting to take all of your items? You know, since that is YOUR responsibility and not the store's.

Tasha,Tasha,Tasha!!! Hey gurl.

Where have you been? We couldn't find you on our sites but we found you now. Do you know where Simon is? We haven't heard from for a while.

Has he been with you? If not, do you know where he is?

I miss him, too. If you hear from him, tell him I'm looking for him, too.

Tasha, hopefulregret said that as anyone can have any name on this site he was going to ignore the additional information given in scott franks comment and focus on the contents of the original complaint. He didn't say it wasn't the original complainer, just that there's a possibility it wasn't. Learn to read before making accusations.

As people can pretend to be anyone they want when commenting on a complaint, I'm going to assume you are not the 'Scott frank' who replied to this. Taking that supposed 'addition' out of the equation, and in regards to your original post, did you check your receipt to see if the item(s) in question were on it?

If they weren't, it's entirely possible they were somehow overlooked between picking them up and getting to the checkout line.

If they were on the receipt and you didn't have them when you got home, the most the managers can hope to do is ask you to come back in to resolve the issue. They certainly can't come to your home and I have never heard of a store volunteering to pay gas for someone to return so I really don't see why it's such an affront that Walmart doesn't offer it as well.

#341361

If it's not on the receipt, you never paid for it in the first place. All that would mean is going back to the store and picking up whatever wasn't bought the first time around. Did you ever think to check the receipt for the items allegedly missing to see if they were even rung through?

@Ever check it?

I'm a 76 year old widow,I have owned my home for over 50 years,I don't need to steal from Walmart.I travel 12 miles to Walmart,I have missed items before, but traveling that distance for the item was not worth the drive,But yesterday after unpacking my groceries,I was missing an item for $ 10.47,so I called the store,a very nasty young man told me to bring in my receipt, and he'd see what I did with it.Shameful,I'm too old to put up with being treated this way.So I guess Walmart needs my $ 10.47.I will call the Home headquarters in Bentonville Arkansas and tell them how I was treated.Everyone should do this.

You should probably see someone about that sever paranoia.

Also, shoving people is assault, fraud doesn't need a credit card- if you're trying to scam free stuff that's fraud too, and hiding items so you can buy them later is unfair- if you want it, buy it then- If you're working at the time it's on sale then do it before or after your shift.

Anonymous
#341251

could it be possible that the cameras are not picking up what is NOT happenning? You do not need a credit card to commit fraud, fraud also covers trying to obtain goods by deception.

Try bagging your own items, and make sure all items are on the receipt.

If you got fired, and your wife thinks that you are fibbing then I think that tells a pretty clear story. you are lucky not to be banned form the store if they have noted you have a record of doing this as well as assault on their premises
