CAKE ORDER WAS NOT READY ON DAY REQUESTED

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I put in a cake order on Thurs afternoon and told the lady I needed the cake Sat. at 12.

I get to WALMART *Greer location* at 1pm(hr later than actually said) and the cake is STILL NOT ready for pick-up. The lady said she would work on mine now and needed around 15min to complete. This is complete BS I put a order in, it should have been ready. I then had to RUSH to make it to my SONS party to decorate and all on time, not to mention I had to sit in the car with 3 kids for an extra almost 30 min before the cake was ready!!!

I will NEVER order another cake from WALMART!

Oh yea the cake lady also said since it was ready the price would be discounted (knoocked a whole $3 off) WOW Who can I call and make a complaint to??? Anyone ever had a problem like this???

Okay now to prove my theory and show everyone that you can use any IP address as stated below I will change mine to Orange California. This proves that Kevin is lying and that you can basically claim to be from anywhere on Earth.

Nice try ***, but when you post a fake location it automatically puts the location as private and does not show it. This further proves that the OP and the person making claims about child abuse are the same person.

I do not know who keeps making all these posts from me ( thambrick2008) but this typing is the real thambrick2008, I posted on this site to try and get info on who to call and all I get is someone posting stuff that's not from the original poster ( me). I would appreciate to whoever keeps writing these post to STOP!!!!!

Its all untrue, I did none of the things listed and my son was not seven on his bday anyways!!! thambrick2008 ( real one)

This is a common Kevin Richards tactic. If you'll look at other posts that he has commented on you will see a lot of similar responses from someone claiming to be the OP, and then he immediately responds to it.

He claims he does not do this, but it has happened several times, usually when he is losing an agreement, then he comes back on and gets his jollies by calling the real original poster a liar. Something else he does is if someone corrects his grammer or spelling, he will post as them with errors and then log back on to point them out.

Keep lying and keep creating other accounts and posting as anonymous to defend yourself pretending to be other people. Yeah keep doing this and you will forget what you originally posted and get caught in your lies.

MattD78

So you put this as a $19 loss, which I assume includes the $3 discount which likely means the cake was $21. How much exactly were you looking for regarding a discount on a $21 cake?

Half off? Free?

Now I agree with you if Walmart took the job and said it will be ready Saturday at 12 it should be ready. But if it's not reasonable compensation should be offered, free is not reasonable.

I was not looking for anything. I just think that my SONS cake should have been ready when they said it should be ready.

My son's seventh birthday was ruined because of this. I was so angry that the children were fighting in the car. My son was upset that his cake was not ready as well. I told all my children that if they did not keep quiet I would cancel the birthday party and throw the cake in the trash.

I had no intention of doing so, but I just wanted to keep them quiet. My son was crying because he really thought I would do this. At this time I was influritated that I slapped him across the face five or six times. Mind you this was on his real birthday.

Someone interfered and saw me do this and told me that was not unacceptable. This totally ruined my son's birthday. Then I got a call from social services, apparently someone reported me to the police getting my license plate number. I was told that they got three calls.

I am not asking for free cake, just more than $3 off. During the time I had to RUSH for my SONS party I was worried that the person would report me. My fears came true today when CPS showed up this afternoon. I will be taking them to court for this.

Now I am even more angry at Walmart because they are not allowing my message to go through.

Every time I try to post it says I got the security code wrong and this is not true. I guess since I am complaining rather than complementing they are preventing me from posting further.

Quanasia Fbj
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-974198

You need to grow up and learn how to control your temper. I am glad the police were called and someone took action against the way you treat your children before you seriously harm them.

Also the Walmart does not own this site. This site is owned by pissedconsumer where you can make complaints to various companies. Perhaps in your anger you got the code wrong? You can try taking them to court if you want and claim it was their fault you abused your son therefore ruining his birthday but the judge will most likely laugh you out of the courtroom.

I agree with you if they said that the cake should be ready by 12 than it should be ready by then. But in your other update you stated they did not make this promise. That you demanded that they bump your child's cake up ahead of others. This is what happens when you do things at the last minute.

You can only blame yourself for this. You can only blame yourself for leaving the children in the car unattended so you can swear at the manager. You can only blame yourself for making threats to throw the cake in the trash and slapping your son when he took you seriously and started to cry. It was YOU who ruined your son's birthday not Walmart.

Grow up.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of MattD78

Further more. They never said they would have the cake ready by Saturday 12pm.

They said that they had a lot of orders and that it would most likely be ready by 3pm. I told them this was not acceptable and if they could bump my son's cake ahead to those that needed the cake later. They were rude and told me no. Then I asked to speak to a manager and he said he would see what he could do.

He could have at least offered me a gift card or more than a $3 discount. But no. Then to top it off he had the nerve to tell me off for leaving my children in the car unattended. I did not want my children with me when I started using profanity and telling them off.

I got back to the car and they were arguing which is when I threatened to cancel the party and when I slapped my SON on his OWN birthday.

Again the idiots from home office are preventing me from posting by saying I got the wrong security code. Well I won't let them win, I will keep trying to post until my messages goes through until they know how they *** up my son's birthday.

On July 16th, I was in your store at 101 N. Congress Ave, Lake Park, Florida, 33403.

In a very long time I was able to come into the check out lane without having to wait. The check out woman waved me forward . I started putting my purchases on the conveyer. I had quite a few things. I wasn't finished putting up my items when the Check out woman literally yelled at me "come on I need you take the bags, I'm out of room". At this time the next customer was behind me. There was no need for the cashier to hurry. I finished putting my purchases up, turned to start picking up my bags and I was given the nastiest look ever! After my bags were in the cart, she said "give me your coupons in your hand". I did not buy everything I had a coupon for and I needed to go through them. Another look to kill! I then handed her my coupons upon which she threw one back at me "this is out of date". I was starting to put my debit card in the machine - I wanted cash back & pressed the wrong key. At this time [she says "***" under her breath] I told her that I heard that and did not appreciate it. She was most angry and would not look at me. I turned to leave when I really felt abused and angry so I turned around and headed for customer service. The manager listened to me and said "one of our associates?" Then she said "oh, she must have problems at home......". She caught herself and then assured me that she would handle it immediately. There was no apology. I left just as frustrated as I was before speaking to the manager. I spent $140.03 in the store, $30.47 for gas, and $30.16 for cigarettes. Total $200.66. I am 70 years old, that is a lot of money for me. terminal # MX8016** **'16/17 14:05:19 REF # 519700****41 Robert E Druschke 10000 Meridian Way N #8 Palm Beach gardens, Fl 33410

Why? Why?!

WHY do people put their addresses on this site? This is a general complaint site. This is where people vent about a bad experience they have had with a business. This isn't the BBB website.

No one on here can do anything about it.

Even on the BBB website you don't publicly display your personal information for all to see. You do give the BBB your personal information for reference--if they or the business needs to contact you--but the BBB doesn't display it.

People in Florida don't know anything.

Walmart Staff Review from Topeka, Kansas

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I was walking out the the store I started to be chased after by Walmart security which is surprising because the alarm didn't go off when I walked through it. When the lady stopped me she said that I've stolen a few items, I asked her a simple question "why do you think I stole food items when I bought the rest of this stuff." And she replied with "people steal everything" so she checked my bags with my Reicept and found nothing and instead of letting me go she made me come back inside to show her exactly what items I put back because I didn't want them. Never shopping at a Walmart store again she showed me no respect and I was being polite and apologetic about the situation even though after she let me go it started to pour rain.

Walmart protection plan has terrible customer service!

I bought an LG cell phone at Walmart and bought the protection plan that the store recommended. Dropped the phone and filed a claim. The day I filed the claim, the asurian rep said I would get a ups mailing label emailed to me. Once the package is scanned by UPS, they are notified that the package is on its way and that I would get a Walmart gift card emailed to me. The package was scanned Monday morning by ups. On Wednesday I called asurian and the rep stated that I have to give it 72 hrs from the time ups scans the package, so give it another day. Nothing. Called back and was told that this was 72 business hours - which is ridiculous. Hung up and called back to talk to another rep. Was then told they received the package on Tuesday and that I have to give it 72 hours from the time they receive the package. Friday comes and goes. Still nothing. Called back this morning and was told by another rep that the package was received on Wednesday and then it has to be inspected to make sure it wasn't damaged during shipping, and then it takes 72 hrs. I'm very frustrated. This is my fathers phone. He has lung cancer and has had a massive heart attack. I don't like him being without a phone! But no one there seems to care and tells me there is nothing they can do to speed this along. I feel like I have been lied to over and over with each call. Very disappointing.

I got charged an extra $30 because the cashier typed in 11 watermelons instead of 1; luckily noticed before I got in my car and went to customer service to get it fixed. Came home and noticed I left two bags at Walmart with about $20 worth of stuff in them. Called the store they couldn't find my items. Now I'm out $20 and a lot of time. And they don't even care.

Y'all Suck

I am the most friendliest person in the world I speak and smile with anyone who gets in close proximity, (just so that they know I see them), and if you go to Publix "Where Shopping is a Pleasure" there's someone always there to great you when you walk in so that you are comfortable, when walking down the aisle someone is asking if they can help you with anything, and when you check put the cashier always ask if you found everything with ease. If you go to Target where you can "Expect More", they are most helpful. BUT today when I went to Walmart this morning I encountered 3 employees who made me want to punch wall!!! I passed one employee when walking down an aisle and he looked at me and put his head down. The ABSOLUTE least he could have done was smile, look friendly, something!! walking down a different aisle, same employee, this time I decided to speak to him, so I smiled and said Good Morning and NOTHING!! after that it was time to go. Got to check out and an older man was my cashier, again I smiled said Good Morning, this man for entire duration of my check out said absolutely nothing!! He didn't acknowledge me as a customer at all. Walmart is the only place this happens, you don't hear nothing like this from any other store. The only person who spoke to me was a cashier at the McDonald's in the store and I didn't even go in there, the greater who stands watch at the door didn't say anything. WALMART Y'ALL HAVE TO STEP IT UP, cause this makes no sense!!!! Go to Target or Publix, spot the difference and apply the corrections.

My wife placed a site to store order and it came days after the ETA. Once it came, arrival was confirmed at 7:45PM. She decided to send me alone for pick up and added my name at 9PM for authorization. I arrived at the terrible Wyncote, PA store at 9:15 to the site to store desk -- wasn't helped until almost 30 minutes later AND still was unable to pick up the order without my wife. Even though I had an email confirmation with my name for pick up, their system hadn't refreshed. No concessions + store closed at 10.

Resolved: Walmart MGR and Cashier Lied and Treated Us Horribly

I went to purchase a toy helicopter for my nephew today, and after waiting in lines and searching for this specific toy for an hour I was bluntly told by the cashier "I cant sell this to you" I asked why? She simply said the cash register says no. Um...Ok, I said, you have a shelf full of them in the toy section and there is no sign up saying otherwise? I had to ask her to call a mgr. He was just as rude and uncaring. After saying he didnt know why several times, he said "oh yeah, I remember, there is a recall on this product" I asked why they had not put a sign up, or removed the toy from the shelve...he had no excuse. I ended up leaving and going to target. I bought a toy I am not even sure my nephew will like (he was dyeing for this helicopter). So out of curiosity when I got home, I went to the walmart site..guess what?!? I am able to purchase it with no problem? Guess what else? There is no recall on this product. Your mgr and cashier were rude, lied to us, and treated us poorly. I will no longer shop with you. Because of you, my nephew will not recieve what he wanted for christmas, because I believed you about the recall, and purchases something else. And dont tell me to take it back and purchase the helicopter online. Its 3 days until christmas. Shame on you walmart.

grow up mlisasa u just acting like a baby....i think u needed helicopter for ur self n blaming ur nephew.....awww poor u.....

Guest

Here we go again, another person mistakes being told no as rude customer service. This is just typical.

If Walmart had knowingly sold you a defective toy and your nephew got hurt, you'd be on here bit**ing about that, too. A a store denies a sale on a product, then the cash register will give a the cashier a prompt.

Clearly you've never worked retail before, otherwise you would understand how it works. Grow up and don't assume that I work for Walmart because I don't.

Guest
reply icon Replying to comment of Guest-919572

well said .....every one who complains should work n retail then will understand. ......

Guest

Your complaint is idiotic. If the register prompts that a sale is not allowed then they cannot sell it.

The sale will not go through and management can't override it. Sometimes a recall is placed on products for safety reasons and once the email and/or paperwork about the recall is received, the product will be pulled from the shelves. It was probably still on the shelves because the store associates have not been notified as of yet. Another reason is that if an item comes in for sale starting on a specific date, (such as black Friday) sometimes the sale will not go through the register until said sale date.

Regardless of the reason, the cashier and manager did their job correctly. If the helicopter was a recall over safety issues and they sold it to you then your nephew got hurt, you would then be posting complaints about how Walmart knowingly sold you a defective toy that caused your nephew to get hurt. People like you are the reason other people hate working with the public.

You want everything handed to you even if it goes against policy or the law. Get over yourself.

Quanasia Fbj

You must be six years old to mistake being told no as rudeness. You are no different than the other fools who posts on this site mistaking being told no as rude.

You also obviously do not love your nephew that much. Usually toys are recalled due to danger hazards. You obviously don't love him if you are willing to buy him a toy that is recalled. Also judging from your spelling and grammar are you even on the website with the same item.

It could be a different remote helicopter?

Guest

Your nephew isn't going to die because he doesn't get what he wants for Christmas. It is probably you that will die for the same reason.

I went to the Walmart MoneyGram Website and tried to send around $20 to a friend in Serbia. After I filled everything out I got an email to call a toll free number because additional info was needed.

I called it and she asked me a bunch or personal questions about my relationship and what was this money to be used for and then she denied me saying security feels it's a scam.

I asked her for someone higher up to talk to and she said there is nobody. I sent the $20 via Western union instead with no problem.

Moneygram is not owned by walmart. If you send money walmart to walmart service, you wont encounter the foreign call center experience, or should I say nightmare. Moneygram sucks.

Guest

They do suck i was sending just here inside texas and got all of the same *** .their cust serv always says that it is your card or your bank account. Even when i went to a walmart store ,used the same card and it went through.I called them to try to let them no.

They didn't care nor would they send me to anyone in the U.S. that might have a clue.

Look at their stock and that prove how bad the management is now.I wonder how golfers at this company recvd. a nice bonus.

Guest

I had the same issues, ask a number of questions that was none of their business, choose a different method to send money. Do to use moneygram

They asked you those questions for a reason. Many scams start out like that where they claim to be from a different country. They're just protecting you and the company.

Pharmacy wouldnt take my script til after their lunch

I was getting a prescription filled for my dad who had a painful surgery. The pharmacist told me to come back in an hour.

I asked why and was informed the entire pharmacy goes to lunch. While this may not seem long to you, for someone in pain this is a very long time. I have pulled his prescriptions from there and am now currently using Walgreens. I have never ever heard of this practice before and I am disgusted you feel that this is ok.

Target, CVS, and Walgreens doesnt use this practice. I cant figure out how you feel that this is ok.

Yes, Walmart feels this practice is ok. The mindset of Walmart is somewhat different than that of normal, caring people. Best to take your scripts elsewhere in addition to your other shopping.

Guest

Walmart pharmacists get a 30 minute lunch from 1:30pm to 2pm if the store only has one pharmacist on duty. Considering they have to stand for their duties and may have to work 12 hour shifts (I am a Walmart pharmacist), it is not unreasonable to get a single 30 minute lunch period.

Most work the full 10 hr day (9-7pm) not 8. Legally, at least in MI, the pharmacy CANNOT BE OPEN unless the pharmacist is he the physical presence of the pharmacy.

Meaning when I go to lunch for that half hour, the pharmacy has to close.

We aren't inconsiderate *** - the techs stagger lunches and we open as fast as we can after 2 to get things done. In this case I'd probably have stayed since it was an emergency script, but after that happens day after day, you have to set the cutoff somewhere.

Guest

Seriously? You are mad that the pharmacy staff is taking a lunch break?

Do you get a lunch break where you work? I would be willing to bet that if you had a job, you would have time to take a lunch during the day. They deserve the same thing. Just because it is a retail pharmacy does not mean that they have to bend over backwards for you.

I don't think you would appreciate being yelled at when you are trying to take your lunch break. Grow up and put yourself in their shoes before you start complaining.

Walmart does not care.

I have had the worst luck with Walmart.More then once I have had to call Walmart Corp.office about store problems.A couple weeks ago I needed a set of speakers for my brothers car so I looked on Walmart web site to check on speakers and to see if any local stores had the speakers I needed and Walmart web site said that every store in my area had them.Well I get in my car and drive to my local store only to find out that NO Stores had the speakers.I called Walmart Corp.office and complained only to have some young woman blow me off..(think she was busy doing her nails or something) and had to ask her to get me someone else to talk to.The next person I talked to said he was sorry and would have the store manager call me and maybe they could order the speakers.Well, because I have complained to Walmart many times over store problems I never got a call back.So I went to Amazon and ordered a better set of speakers made by the same company at a LOWER price then Walmart had on the lower grade of speakers!!!

I will never shop at Walmart again...I would rather go to Target,K-Mart or order on line because Walmart does not care about customer service!!

For the people who read this post my advice to you is Don't just sit back and let these big companies give you a run around..CALL..COMPLAIN...and just don't buy from them!! YOU as a consumer should be treated with respect because it is YOUR money and YOUR time that makes or breaks a business.WALMART...SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!
