Threatening Manager | Walmart review from Fort Garland, Colorado

Walmart Alamosa CO Big Dave likes to intimidate customers with his size and jabbing his fingers in a threatening manner all the while grinning and likming it. There is no more Customer Service, at, Walmart. They insult you and guess who would wind up in jail-YOU! cause their fascist trash. He scared my little kids so we ran out of the store. Their never is anyone to help and if you ask its like you slapped them. They refuse price checking or any assistance locating products lieing about item locations to avoid the walk. PS I am a disabled single father.

Privacy Violations | Walmart review from Phoenix, Arizona

I will try to condense this sitation to as little as possible; even though it is quite big of a deal. I had a large number of photos developed at the Wal Mart Photo Centre and after getting the run around and finally getting them printed and receiving them (a process that should have taken a few hours turned into 4 days!), I received an odd text message on my phone of a personal nature from an unknown number. Turns it it was one of the associates who works at the photo centre "wanting to get to know me better". I was so stunned and disturbed, I reported the incident to Wal Mart, but not much was done with it. Just a heads up to everyone out there!! Be careful what you use for your information, because it really is not private and secure - even at a reputable corporation such as Wal Mart!

I just need change!!! | Walmart review from Maywood, New Jersey

Just got back from the walmart in Garfield New Jersey. I bought a movie on my card and got 20dollars back. The guy shut the draw before I could ask for it to be broken down. He told me customer service could change it for me. Then customer service told me I had to go to register 16 and then the girl at register 16 told me she couldn't open her drawer. Is this what retail has come to?? I spent many many early years in retail and making change for people is a service everybody used to offer. What happend?

I realize that this complaint is older but for anyone who needs to know: at register 16 or the cigarette lane there is-at least at the Walmart I work at-a small podium that the supervisors go to to give out change to cashiers who need it. If a customer needs change they can go to the podium, ask the cashier running the register by the podium to page a supervisor, and when the supervisor arrives the customer can break down larger bills or get change. Cashiers can't open their drawers without a supervisor's approval and for the most part aren't supposed to break down bills because it leaves them with less of the smaller bills or coins to give to customer's that need them for cash purchases as change.

I am surprised that customer service would not break down $20. But, then again, before the $20 was given, I would of asked nicely.

Yeah, NcoClub nailed it. I realize from your point of view, it seems like a simple request, but there are security measures in place so the cashiers can't do that. Believe it or not, a 16 year olds who make $7 aren't the most trustworthy people.

If you need your cash back in change you need to ask for it in a timely manner as the cashier cannot just open the cash drawer once it has been closed unless it has opened for a transaction. This is a security measure almost every retailer uses to reduce "shrinkage" (or theft).

Poor stocking food aisles | Walmart review from Saint Louis, Missouri

We have been shopping your Highland, Illinois store for over 30 years. In the last month we have shopped your store the shelves have not been completely stocked. Instead items have been pulled to the front. You have been out of Special K protein bars and cran-grape juice for 1 month. Back in October we looked for an electric blanket and could not find any in the bedding department instead we found only 1 in with the Halloween candy. Who would have thought? You seem to be hellbent on stocking liquor in every available aisle you can [always well stocked] Sometimes they have even taken space out of the produce aisles. My wife has talked to the manager and evidently he just blew her off because nothing has changed. We have decided to shop elsewhere since you don't seem to care about customer satisfaction. Why don't you change your sign to read Walmart Super Liquor!

The reason the liquor is full is probably because it doesnt sell. The items you like may be better sellers and are there off and on when shipments come in.

Customers cause out of stock by buying stuff. WOW imagine that...Blanket in candy department....customer again who just dropped it there. plus some items walmart doesnt have is supplier issues.

if they dont have it either does walmart. walmarts stocks things...people buy them..thats the idea

Shame on Wal-Mart for stocking what is obviously the best selling item in your town - Booze. Maybe you should focus your energy on wondering why your town is full of lushes.

You would think protein bars would be their biggest priority.

Then they could call it Wal-Mart Super Protein! Durr!!!

USB Cable not in my box! | Walmart review from Fort Myers, Florida

Went to Walfart last night and bought a Canon Scanner, only to find out that the USB Cable wasn't in the box. The next morning I called them up only to have a foreign person in the electronics department to tell me to box up everything and bring it all back. Why couldn't I just bring my receipt in? Why should I be inconvenienced? It took me almost a half an hour to unpack the darn thing, pulling off all those orange tapes, I drove 30 minutes to the Walfart, and they expected me to do that 3 times because of something they did wrong? Rather than go through all the trouble they tried to send me through, I decided to just go to Big Lots to buy a USB Cord. It cost me $5.30. Much less of a hassle to deal with the lousy customer service reps there with the nasty attitudes, as well as the foreigners that I can barely understand, also, incompetent Managers with an attitude as well. Walfart sucks!

Also, did you check what was meant to be in the contents of the box? A lot of items like that no longer include a USB cable in the package.

Price slashing | Walmart review from Tampa, Florida

some items I buy every week and know the prices. today i went to put some 2litters of DR pepper and it said price slash 1.25 reg 1.46 however for the last year the reg price was 1.25, some time they are as sale for 1.00. I removed the card and under it they had the reg price marked as 1.25. i now can not believe any thing that you mark as a price cut! and i am going to rethink shopping at walmart i don't like being mislead by dishonest people. this is the walmart in Land O Lakes FL

You may not like it, but the price of products can change, especially in the current economy- many things are more expensive then they were a year ago. As for the card underneath- they most likely put the new price card over the old one without bothering to remove the older one.

Walmart/Straight Talk RIP OFF!!!!

We have been using Walmart ST phone since '08. About 3 mos. into our serice the phone started messing up. For the next 3 mos. it would go back and forth from not being able to make calls or send txts or get on the internet. For 3 wks straight we couldn't make or receive ANY calls. I thought it was a defect in the phone. I ask them to replace it. They made us go through a grueling ordeal with turning the phone off for a whole day @ a time. Then calling them from another phone 500 times. They still said they wouldn't replace the phone. That it took time to reboot!! 3 MONTHS?!?! I even took it to Walmart, they didnt care. They got their $ so I wasn't an issue they cared about! Well eventually it started working again. So we went on with our lives. We bought another phone when our daughter moved away so we could stay in contact. It messed up right away...same ordeal but never worked again so we threw it away! 6 mos. later we bought yet another phone...this one lasted almost a year without one incident! Then it stopped woprking one day and would not come back on...it only would show start up samsung page then go off and on. After 3 weeks of fighting and threatening to goto Boost mobile, they finally agreed to send us a new phone. Not only did they send us the wrong phone that was a cheaper model, but every since weve had missing minutes on both our phone and our daughters!! They changed her phone number 5 times in 8 mos. They say its a glitch in the system!! As with all theier other customes, we can NEVER get a Rep that speaks clear English!! They keep us on the phone for 45 or more mins @ a time!! But still manage to mess it up!!! This last time the woman was actually BOLD enough to suggest we were faking a payment with our credit card!!!! She couldn't find prove of payment but our bank paid it 5 days earlier while it was still active. This company is ripping off the American public!! If we all stop going to Walmart for even just one day it will make a statement that we won't stand for this treatment and unfair business practices. Stores are regulated for price accuracy. And if they score below 97% or so they get big fines!! So doesn't this qualify as inaccuracy?!?! Im going to BOOST. They have a plan that drops every 6 mos. til it reaches $35! For life! Thats for unlimited everything!!! Plus walkie service!!! Walmart has lost my business and alot of other as well! Walmart is so "YESTERDAY" anyway!! Everybody knows that!!!
