Cancelled my online order twice after charging me for it

I've had the worst experience ever ordering from Walmart online. I ordered my daughter a bike last Saturday at 10am then got an email later that night saying my item was canceled.

It was very confusing that you guys allow customers to place an order get an email confirmation and you put a hold on the customers card but cancel the order. I had to wait days to get my money back which is insane because you didn't wait days to place a hold on my card but expect me as a customer to wait days to get my money back. That is very unfair to the customer and very misleading. I've never ordered from somewhere and they allow you to place an order the company takes the money off your card then turns around hours later and says hey sorry we don't have that item.

Today I placed an order for a bike at 9:28am, received my confirmation email and the money is pending on my card. Around 6:50pm I get an email saying the item was cancelled so I called Walmart and get the same response sorry were out of stock and you have to wait 5 business days to get your money back. Like what type or company are your guys running that you take people's money for items that you don't have. You need a better system and I called 3 times after I placed my order today to make sure that the item was there and every agent I spoke to said my order was fine and would be available for pick up on December 12th.

Now I have to wait until sometime next week to get my money back. I've shopped at Walmart for years and this is the absolute worst experience I've ever had and I will never be shopping here again. I have items that are being delivered to the store next week for pick up that I will be canceling because I refuse to give my hard earned money to a company that doesn't care about their customers. I will be telling everyone I know not to ever shop with you guys because of your level of customer service and customer appreciations sucks.

I am very disappointed and disgusted with Walmart services. I've always been a faithful shopper but not anymore. I won't recommend you guys to anyone. I just don't understand how you can take someone's money for an item then change your mind hours later and say her sorry we don't have it.

If you don't have it I should have my money back on my card right now. I shouldn't have to wait 5 business days for my money because Walmart didn't wait 5 seconds to place my money on hold.

Just know you guys lost a loyal customer and I'm going to make sure that everyone I knows never shops with you guys again. Walmart has left a very bad impression on me.

An Awesome Experience At Walmart

I posted this to Walmart Consumer Service and would like to post it here as well....... I am writing this to let you know of an exceptional employee you have on staff at the Walmart in Morristown, Tn. location. I received phenomenal customer service from this young girl who went above and beyond what she had to do. The young woman's name is Heather Gonzalez and she was working in the electronics department the evening of 11/20/14 when I went with a Target Ad in hand and expected a price match. She was very kind and she went the extra mile to help me. She assured me that Walmart would match the Target prices. She unlocked the case and took everything out I needed but needed the approval of management for the price match. When she returned from the back she told me she was not allowed to give me the items because Target was out of product online, not in the stores but online. Her public relations that evening were far greater than I have witnessed from many senior management personal. I ask to speak to the manager and explained Walmarts promise to price match, not if it was in stock but to price match if the Ad was brought in. I argued with him that there is no way Walmart has the employees in numbers to call or go on line and see if every item is in stock before doing a price match. He argued back and refused again. He held his smart phone up and flipped through the pages of "out of stock" Targets listed. I ask to speak to a senior manager and was told the same thing. I again explained Walmarts promise and how they have a reputation to up hold with price match and how if you purchase and it goes on sale or you find it cheaper later you can return for money back or a gift card. I explained what they promised and what their obligations were, as well as what the public expected because of these promises. The manager said they had changed the policy as of the night before and said he could not do it. The young lady attempted to help me with her problem solving and input she was allowed to do without over stepping her bounds. The manager told her to go online and if a Target had the item in at that price then she was to give me the Ad match price. This employee, this young lady restored my faith in the Walmart. She was going to do whatever it took to help me because she believed it was the right thing to do. She called two Targets I think and was on the phone for very long periods, she was calm and understanding as well as smiling and friendly. I could not help thinking this is what Walmart needs is more employees like her. It was not because I received my price match but because of the time she took, the genuine caring attitude of this young lady. The care she took to uphold Walmart's reputation and to explain what Walmart does and can do to help people. To explain there had been some bogus Ads come through and Walmart was attempting to be more careful. I had to purchase for birthday presents and it is hard this close to Christmas, and to make it harder it was for little twins. This employee I speak of heard me, understood what I said and cared, did everything she could to help me. I will not forget it anytime soon. I would just like to tell someone there at Walmart and her too if she ever gets to see this that I appreciate the time she took with me, the problem solving she took upon herself to do for a customer to take care of my problem of uphold Walmarts promise. My strong opinion is she is one of your companies greatest assets. If you read this Heather Gonzalez I appreciate the help and the time, I appreciate the feeling you gave me that I was a valued customer and you wanted my business rather than me taking it else where...Glenda

Still charged and shipped cancelled order

online walmart is pants!!! i spent over $250 on christmas gifts and realized they were emailing it to my previous address.

i called them up and spent over 40 minutes on hold. i was told that they could not update my shipping address and i would have to cancel the order and reorder the items. some of the items were no longer available and some of the items were still shipped. i called walmart and spent another 30 minutes on hold to find out when i was going to get my refund back.

i was told it could take 5-7 business days for the refund and that i would not be getting a full refund because some of the items were already shipped. the representative was very rude and told me this was my fault and i would have to call the delivery carrier (UPS and FEDEX) to have them send it back. and there was still another item pending to be canceled. i am beyond frustrated with this whole thing.

i can't buy any one else christmas gifts until i get my refund, i've wasted time to call walmart over this matter, and i have to go out my way to make sure the items are sent back from what they shipped out after i cancelled it.

i will NEVER make an online purchase again!!!! thanks, for ruining my christmas!!!!!

Actually is your fault since you are fully in charge of reviewing your order BEFORE you hit place order to avoid any problems. And if some one would take a little time to read terms and contains you will see that once you place the order there's NOTHING you can change on the order and if you try to cancel the order Walmart.com does not guarantee that.

Walmart raised pasta prices 24% just the other day, why so much?

How can a 24% price increase on a wheat product be explained? 2/21/2015 Therebhas been no negative impact on the nations wheat crop and transportation costs have gone down sith the vost of okl going g down so how can this huge increase be explained other than a profit gouge? I do not understand. I do not understand. I attempted to contact Walmart through their web site and it would not accept my question! Wonder why? I need to fill this section with one hundred words or it will not accept my issue? I think that is an important item that needs attention and corrected. I have run out of things to say about a simple to state question.

I hate to tell you this, but the price of diesel fuel hasn't went down and from what I have been hearing that is going up and is considerably higher than regular gas, and the vehicles used for shipping use diesel fuel. Also a lot of the areas of the country where grains, etc.

are raised have been having adverse weather conditions for a few years. Have you not heard about the drought and flooding in certain states.

What do the words sith, vost, okl, and g mean? This isn't the WalMart web site, you are on a general complaint site.

I preordered the HP stream laptop in magenta on Dec 11th as a Christmas gift for my 11 year old daughter. This is the biggest thing that she is looking forward to getting for Christmas. When ordered it stayed that the item would ship on DEC 15th. here it is the 17th and it's still showing processing. The item is now sold out on walmart.com. I called to inquire about my order and was hung up on twice after waiting for over 20 minutes each time. When I finally talked to someone they informed me that they didn't know why it was still processing even though the money has been removed from my debit card. Just stated that it should be shipped on the 19th but if not call back. What the *** walmart, I put my faith into you?!? When I ask about guaranteed christmas delivery I was told walmart.comdosent guarantee anything!! This will be the last time I order from them for christmas and they better hope I have her laptop by Christmas or they WILL be hearing about it! Beware of walmart.com people!

I am more concerned that my daughter will be crying the whole of Christmas because she did not get the laptop I promised her. This will ruin Christmas and if it does not arrive by Christmas I will be contacting a lawyer and suing them for ruining Christmas for my child.

You cannot really sue just because your spoiled brat cried because she did not get a Christmas gift. While she probably got other gifts there are children who get nothing for Christmas, and your bratty child would cry because she got the laptop late.

I mean she is 11 she is too old to be believing in Santa, and she is too old to cry because she did not get a Christmas gift. Just tell the situation and tell her she will get the gift later on when they get their act together, say April 2016.

Product not same as i purchased. Material issue.

I purchased bundle of 2 corelle sets online..product infomation was wrong.mugs are in different material( porcelain I am so disappointed. Next time i will never expect to buy any thing from walmart. I will suggest people to never buy anything online from walmart. Wastage of time and money both. Product should be as like as you describe in product information. Mugs are ugly not in proper shape. Color is different from plates and heavy to hold. I want to return this product. And i will not pay any shipping charges. I was thinking to another bundle as a gift for my cousin but now i will never think about it. First experience and very bad experience.

It isn't WalMart's fault that you mugs were allegedly different. It is the fault of whatever manufacturer is responsible for Corelle ware.

Complain about the manufacturer instead of WalMart. At least then you would be complaining about the right business.

Ordering off Walmart.com= Bad idea

So I ordered a weight bench set for my brothers birthday on the 18th of November. My item was set to be delivered on the 17th of November. I ordered my item on the 1st of November. I already was thinking that it takes really long just to ship something from site to Store but I was fine with it as long as I got in time for my brothers birthday. On the 17th I go to pick up my item and what do you know, it's not there. So I call customer service and they end up giving me a 15 dollar refund and assure me that my item will arrive the next day. Next day comes, still not there. I call customer service again and supposedly my item was now canceled since the 1st of the November (the same day I ordered it). I ask him if it was canceled did I get a full refund, he said yes. I took his name down just to be safe. I call back a little later because it didn't make sense, you know with giving me 15 dollars back on something that was already cancelled. I explain everything to the lady that has happened so far and she tells me my order was not cancelled and they can either re ship it to me and I can have it in 3 to 5 business days or a refund. I said re ship it to me as long as I don't have to wait another 2 weeks for my item. Now it is November 21st and I received an email stating my item will arrive on December 5th. I now know never to order from Walmart ever again because they CLEARLY do not know what they are doing.

I called the walmart in coaltownship pa the 2481 store to ask a question about a in store pick up i ordered and have never talked to a more ignorant person in my life that dealt with the public. If you can't handle your job then quit. I then called the hamburg pa store and was treated like gold. Everyone i speak to anout my experience tells me that store has the most ignorant people in their customer service they ever heard of. Mr walmart should fire them all and replace them with freindly curtious people i will never or my family will ever spend a penny in that walmart till they get someone who can handle their job.my advise to everyone DO NOT SHOP AT THE 2481 walmart.

I found an HP 2541 wireless all-in-one printer online for $26.00 on rollback...Of course its out of stock online, but the listed stores have it in stock to pick up today..GOOD LUCK..NONE of the stores listed had it in stock and when I finally found a store that had them in stock they were $59.00. This does not make since to me, how can online and in store be so different? It's all Walmart, RIGHT?? . I am calling corporate. Before I called 20 stores and found the printer I emailed corporate and asked for a rain check and they refused. WHY??

Walmart Online Holiday Order - Confirmed Arrived - Then Canceled

I ordered bikes for my grand kids online for pick up at store. I received a confirmation indicating one of the bikes had arrived at the store on Tuesday December 16 and would be available on Wednesday December 17, but to wait for a pick up confirmation. I waited until Friday December 19 and then called the store. I was placed on hold 5 times and each time was disconnected. I called again and asked to speak to a Manager, I was put on hold again and hung up on again. I called the online customer service and explained my frustration they indicated my options were to cancel the order and start over or to escalate the issue and wait 24-48 hours for a response. I chose to escalate. He also suggested I go to the store directly to try to resolve. I told him I am not in the same state. He suggested I call them as if I had not already explained I called 6 times, sat on hold and got disconnected each time. It is now December 21 and I received an email indicating the order had been canceled as the item is not available. I called the online customer service number and asked how this is possible since I received confirmation that the bike had been delivered to the store. They indicated that the item was likely lost at the store. I asked how I can order another one online and ensure it is actually at the store. He indicated that several customers had been calling in indicating they ordered items online that were available at the store; when in fact they were not available at all. He said Walmart needs to get a better system in place cause that ones not working and that I should call the store to confirm availability. (You work for them?) Now running out of time, I ordered a second bike to replace the first one. I immediately called the store and spoke to a Manager to explain what had taken place and to confirm if the new bike was or was not available. He asked for my number and said he'd call me back in 15-20 minutes. That was 2 hours ago. I tried calling again, automated hold and hang up. Really Walmart! Each call to online Customer Service took 30 minutes and each call to store took 10 minutes. I have spent at least 3 hours on the phone, mostly on hold, and I still don't have confirmation on a bike for my grandson for Christmas!

I don't know what the problem is,but not only walmart, but the post office and fed ex are having an unusual amt. Of difficulties this season.

My one hr . garentee for a 50 " tv has not come in either like they promised and here it is getting really close to Christmas. They promised by mid Dec. They don't even apologize for the delay.

Evidently Walmart has gotten so big that they forgot what customer service is. If anyone else is having these problems please email me at prettyspecialklady@***.com

I was stopped the other day by an employee who looked to be about 128. I was annoyed but no way was I going to disrespect this kindly, elderly woman.

She stopped me because I had a 36 pack of water that was "unbagged" (no *** lady).

I just smiled, let her peruse my receipt and went on my merry way. All in all, no biggie to me.

The big deal is you get profiled. I loath Walmart and will only go on emergencies.

Yeah, I look like I hate it and all the people there.

But when I see forty people go before me and only I get asked for my *** receipt then it matters. Like I'm going to steal a ceramic heater under my jacket(which breaks that same night)

Also this the person that even 20% looks good to them. Those are the theft with mental issue. Because to them nothing to risky.

It's a formula called the '80/20 RULE' A rule of thumb that states that 80% of outcomes can be attributed to 20% of the causes for a given event.

In business, the 80-20 rule is used to help managers identify problems and determine which operating factors are most important and should receive the most attention based on an efficient use of resources. Resources should be allocated to addressing the input factors have the most effect on a company's final results. Which has been proven that people are less likely to steal if ALL customer receipts are being check. Because "A theft is not willing to gamble when their chance are 80/20 that they are going to get caught" risk is to high.

But if Walmart check ZERO customer receipts this is the '50/50 rule risk factor' risk factor is low. So they only have a 50/50 chance that they will get caught". So just remember lower the risk higher the price and higher the risk lower the price.

So, it help keeps Walmart prices low for their customers. So, it all for you to have lower prices.I hope this helps.
