Last night, I was too drunk to drive. I was even too drunk to walk. Being a good citizen and not putting people's lives in danger by drinking and driving I gave my son the keys to my car and told him to go to the wal-mart and get me some beer. My son came home...

Maybe you should buy a home brewing kit and learn to make your own beer at home.

Walmart in Concord, North Carolina - Job interview and wage

10/13/08 got called in for an interview for the maintenance position, Wal Mart. Went to interview, got there 30 min. prior, was taken in to interview on time. The interviewer had my application in hand, which you have to type out on there computor in store, and i think they ask for way to much personal information. The first question ask was if the wage i had down was negotiable, I said no that was as low as i could go. interviewer said we need not go any further, they could have ask me that on the phone, and what they offered me, I was making that 15 years ago. They raise there prices on goods but do not want to pay there help.

You would think having to clean all that nasty stuff in that store, you would get payed billions.

Janitors/maintenance go through so much *** everyday (no pun intended.) They aren't very appreciated.

Then get another job where you get paid more. Or go back to your old job.

I am laughing reading this poorly written letter, with the many grammar and spelling mistakes. It must hurt for people to laugh at you. Here have a cookie.

Who wrote this letter you or your daughter, because it looks like a seven year old wrote this. I would suggest you take a few classes in English, then rewrite the letter so people can understand. I have a five year old sister and she can write better than this.

Oregon Walmart employee ***

There is this cashier at the Springfield Walmart who is a total waste of space. She always has a sour look on her face and is just nasty to everyone. She looks like she is being tortured and forced to work there! She is a HUGE girl with tattoos all over and it's just so trashy. I refuse to shop there anymore! I have never been treated so horribly. The last time I was there I was sickly sweet to her. When she gave me my reciept I said "Thank you very much" and she grunted. I can't believe it

I work at Walmart - and us manager's favorite saying is "We don't ask for you to have a brain to work here, just that you show up."

And God.. Its so true!!

The real reason you are not going there is because you are scared of her. What kind of man are you.

This sounds fake as ***, to be honest, but if it is real, you deserve what happened to you. Shoplifting is a crime, and using a child to aid you in a crime is a huge deal. You're lucky social services didn't come at you and take your child on the spot.

I was shopping at your store in Pittsburg PA. I had two loaves of bread. The total had come to 5.09. I paid the cashier with a $20 bill. The cashier gave me $15 in change. My ten year old son wanted to buy some candy from the candy machine. I had no quarters in my...

Seriously, you've got to be kidding....you're complaining because you got back more than you should have....and blaming the cashier for disappointing your son? Freaking wait until someone's till opens and ask for change!

Or if you can't wait that long, buy a chocolate bar or something. Yeesh, you're ridiculous.

Besides, believe the registers tell the cashiers what change is due to the customer.....and if she gave back more than she should have, she's the one that will be written up when the till is short that 9 cents. :eek

Really, you think a greeter is going to remember everyone that comes into the store? With the number of people in and out of the store, it's ridiculous to think someone is going to remember who came in with who, who left with who, etc.

When there is a lost child, a Code Adam is called....employees begin looking around their areas for a child matching the description that is being paged. They used to lock the front doors, but that I believe is no longer done....instead, the doors are watched for anyone matching the child's description. And you think someone is going to know the relationship between you and the child? Did they call out it was your niece missing (I've never been in one where the relationship between the child and the person reporting the lost child has been made over the paging system)?

And besides, not everyone may have heard all of the page...or even remembered all of it.

They'd be concentrating on the description being given. Ultimately, it's your responsiblity to watch a child that's with you....not the store's responsibility.

Walmart was taken over by the board of directors that represent themselves only. They represent the greed and horror of Anti-American traitors.

They have been taken over by the Clintons and such.

No longer a family owned All American Company. Walmart is an Anti-American corporation.

Walmart in Danbury, Connecticut - Exessive and fraudulent charges

I used a pay telephone, 9/21/08 at the Walmart in Havre, Montana, in the evening and wanted to charge the call to my credit card. After following the instructions several times, with no luck in getting my call through, a customer service rep. came on the line and offered to help. I explained what I was trying to do and he helped. I thought, "how nice". The call went through, but no one answered, which was strange because I was calling my elderly mother who does not leave the house in the evening. I waited a while and tried again, with the same negative results. Finally another customer service rep came on and offered to assist me after I once again explained my attempts to follow the instructions. Again I thought "how nice", even though I had to twice correct her understanding of the number I wanted to dial. It finally went through and I spoke to my mother for about 5 minutes. When I recieved my bank statement with the charge for the one call that went through, I was astounded to see both the call that was not the number I was calling and did not get answered, was charged to me at $25.06 (that's $25.06 for 0 minutes!) and the one that did go thourgh was an incredible $33.94, about $6.78 a minute! I paid my credit card bill with these two charges, but, I demand a refund of both the fraudulent charge and a refund of some of the cost of the call that did go through. I should not have had to utilize assistance; the phone should be in complete working condition or removed. .

Ditto Jim's comments. Wal-Mart is in a lot of things (and a lot of things they should not be), but thankfully pay phone service is not one of them.

The pay phone is the property of the phone company, not Wal-Mart. Your complaint needs to go to the phone service provider, not the store.

Anonymous
#41443

Uhh, WalMart does not supply or service the phone so complain to the phone provider. The company and their contacts are likely listed on the front of the phone above where you put in coins.

Second, if you dispute charges made on your credit card - DON'T PAY THEM.

Contact your credit card company and let them know you dispute the charges - right away - and they will freeze payment to the company submitting the charge and/or will investigate the charges and credit your account if they are suspect.

If the credit card company is aware of the dispute, you won't have to pay interest on the charges during the investigation either. Read the back of your statement - all this is likely spelled out there.

Walmart not honoring advertisments...

I live in El Paso, Texas and our local corner store Walmart says they will match any competitors advertisement. Well, there is a new store called Ranch Market and on Thursday's they have great specials on fruit and vegetables. Walmart use to match their price. If Ranch Market was selling oranges for 6 pounds for 99 cents then Walmart would match them. Now walmart has changed their mind. They are saying that Ranch Market's fruits and vegetables are not comparable to there's, that their fruit and vegetables are bigger and better so they don't have to match them. I think this is crock, they realize that all us stay at home moms are showing up in the mornings, getting our fruits and vegetables and I guess they feel like they are losing out. I told them if that is what their new policy is, they need to put it in the front entrance so when customers come in with their Ranch Advertisments they will now that they will not be honored at Walmart.

I saw that letter too, I also saw the OP reply rudely. I think that is why it got deleted.

She did admit that they were not the same brand as you said. Then when people told her they match by brand and by size she started using the f bomb.

Did you not write another letter, one where you said wal-marts fruits were bigger and a different brand, Where is that letter? Why did you ask for it to be deleted?
