Walmart in Saint Joseph, Missouri - Wal mart

I went at the end of summer last year (2007) and purchased a water slide for my child. We never put it up and it was not used last year at all. We ended up getting it on sale and stored it until this summer. When we put it up this summer the blower that blows the slide up would not work, the hose that goes into your water hose was broke and it had a rip in the slide. I took it back to Wal Mart and they told me that even with a receipt they could not do anything because it was bought lasy summer. I explained to them why I paid 200 dollars last year for the slide and not this year and they would not help. So now we have slide that is no good and they will not help at all!

Why would you expect anyone to take back a item that is a year old? We have a 90 day return policy for a reason.

You said you had it for a while... Well, something could happened to the items while you had them due to the weather or something.

If not, you can also blame the manufacturer.

You don't have to blame someone else just because they're just doing their job.

Learn that walmart has a 90 day return policy. Not a year policy. Contact the people who make the slide it is their fault it is broken, not walmarts.

Walmart only puts seasonal items on sale after the season has passed. If you buy something and don't check out the condition of the item within a reasonable length of time, and you cannot return it for some reason at another walmart; try contacting the manufacuturer. It may be under warranty

I agree with Zach.....or take it to another Wal-Mart and tell them you received it as a gift and don't have a receipt!

Quite a few items are sent and sitting in the back. The stores have alloted so many hours for labor and they have cut those figures.

The employees have only so much time to stock, as they have to wait on customers and run registers when there aren't enough cashiers put on the schedule. It is a vicious cycle as sales go down because of lack of stock and sales help, less hours are alloted. The General Manager at your store needs to *** the bullet and blow his bonus for one year and get his store back on track.

It worked for our Walmart in Honesale, PA. Our store had similar problems and a new Manager fixed it.

Walmart in Cleveland, Ohio - Bad hair cuts

My husband and i just moved to the area, did not know where to get are hair cut so we went to Wal-mart in Wadsworth, OH. My husbands hair was completely hacked up, going to have to just shave off. Mine, Didnt do anything i wanted done which was thinned out and trimmed. All she wanted to talk about was her wages, which she seem to think was not enough, and wanted to make it clear that i was to tip. Been in similar jobs and if you do your job right then you will be tipped!!!!! Wont go back

WalMart Bill Pay

Paid my gas bill at the WalMart in Sanford,FL only to have my gas turned off 3 days later. WalMart took 15 days to pay a bill that was not past due. I had to pay a reconnection fee to the gas company and all WalMart had to says was "THAT NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE" - I am pissed to the highest of pisstivity! I'm now have to pay the $100.00 reconnection fee and this months bill! I tried reaching a manager and of course I was put on hold for ever. I am pissed and out of money!

Walmart wouldnt fix or replace bicycle

i only had the bike about 3 weeks before everyhing started to fall apart,i bought it for my son to get to his new job,and here is what broke,first the pedal shaft kept coming loose,tried everything and couldnt fixit,then the handle bars totally came loose while he was riding home,next was both pedals broke.he only had it 3 weeks and i know he is very good with his stuff.i fixed everything i could and the the derailer snapped in half.what a piece of *** even though i thought i was buying a good one because it was the most expensive one they had.so i took it to walmart,long story short they had it for 2 1/2 weeks then i called,(they were supposed to call me)to be told that the company would not warranty the parts,and there was nothing they could do for me,so itook the bike home called mongoose and was able to get all the parts.yes they did warranty the parts but these guys just wash there hands with it.now i cant fix the pedal shaft myself so i dont know what to do.walmart really *** me off.bad customer service.

WALMART CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!!!!!

I recently went to the Walmart store in Brandon Florida, because I had a manufacturer gift certificate for $50 good towards products from Hasbro ( Walmart was one of the places that would honor this certificate). The code on the certificate was printed on with a laser printer and was slightly faint but easily legible. Long story short, I had what I wanted to buy in hand and headed to a check out. The certificate was to be used like a check - the cashier tried to use it and could not. So she called a CSM- Customer Service manager. The CSM did the same exact thing the cashier tried and looked at me and said, we cant use this. I assured her that the certificate came with a letter and a number to call if the cashier had issues with the certificate, and that she could call them and have the issue resolved. She stared at me blankly and said " sir, we cant use this, im not calling anyone." What pissed me off the most was that I had to drive a ways to get to that *** *** hole, just to have some ignorant *** refuse me. Thank GOD for Toys R Us.

I agree with ghostbuster. If this was your attitude than don't expect anyone in any store go out of their way to help you.

I had one of these and it was put in by entering cash. Try to change your attitude especially when you are in public.

This is a good letter, till you got to the end. Your letter would be taken more seriously if you left out the swearing and name calling. I would suggest you rewrite this letter when you have calmed down a bit.
