Why Walmart do you post item limits on your express checkout lanes if you are not going to enforce them? Also, why are customers allowed to cut in front of others because they forgot their .50 cent bag of chips?! According to the cashier this problem is at the management level and above. Enforce your *** item limits or get rid of them. I am done with the three ring circus and no ring leader! I will be shopping at Aldi's and our local supermarkets where customer service and most prices are comparable or better! Time to wake up Walmart!

The problems you described happen at every supermarket. I feel sorry for the cashiers, because they get blasted by customers with more than the accepted amount of items and then are blasted by those who are frustrated by those thoughtless people.

I agree stores need to post in English and definitely in Spanish, that anyone with more than X number of items will be asked to leave the express line, no exceptions. Then they need to back it up.

As far as the people leaving the line to grab something else, I assume you mean the ones that are rung up already and just need to grab 'one more thing'. Yes, those id*ots make people want to commit violence. Unfortunately, what is the cashier suppose to do?

Their stuff is already rung up and half-bagged at the point. When I go in places like Walmart, I try to have an extra amount of patience.

Black people are the worst at grabbing that bag o chips, and stuffing them lips of theirs... And, to make matters worst, they make the cashier ring up their stuff in three or more stages for the poor porch monkies that could not fit in their car on the way to wal-mark! Apparently, the concept of using one receipt to tell who owes what to whom, has escaped them....

Trac Phone never activated but no refund for mandated Sim card. Kiss $45 Goodbye!!

I recently purchased a non-smart trac phone for my mother, who is a cancer patient on hospice residing in a nursing home. I attempted to buy a easy to use Trac phone thru our local Walmart (Greensburg, Pa Greengate location). I intended to port my mother's existing land line to the Trac phone to save her the trouble of giving out a new phone number in her current condition...she is 84 and has had the same number for at least 50 years. She wants to talk to relatives but doesn't have a phone service at the home. After roughly 5 days I inquired why the phone wasn't yet activated and was told that the account info for the land line was incorrect. I checked the company's bill and took the number off of it, as well as contacted the company to verify it was correct. I provided the info to Trac phone, who insisted it was incorrect. After several days of promising a resolution and activation, I was being told the same story regarding the incorrect account info from FSN (the Land Line provider). I requested a 3 way conference call to get all parties together and the account info was again verified.

Over the next few days, without activation, I again requested a 3 way call and was again assured that the phone would be on within 24 hours. Today, 12 or more days later, I called Trac to see why the phone wasn't working, only to be told that the account info was incorrect.

At this point, I was very frustrated after spending at least 9 calls and nearly two weeks trying to get this phone for my mother to activate. I decided to return the phone and pursue another service. At the Walmart where I purchased the phone, I was told that I could return the phone but the sim card, the $45 unlimited card that I was required to purchase ...the Trac Phone rep insisted to the Walmart employee that the premium card was needed for activation...the less expensive card wouldn't work. This is not a smart phone...just a regular cell phone.

I spoke to the CSM and while everyone agreed that the phone was unused, never activated, and the sim card was only touched by the Walmart employee that sold me the phone...they could not issue me a refund or credit for the sim card. No solution was offered other than possibly contacting Trac Phone to try to get a refund or credit. In a nutshell, I paid extra for a sim card to activate a phone that didn't require the premium sim, but then was not "allowed" to be issued a refund for the never used sim card, despite having all of the receipts, packaging, etc. and patiently waiting nearly two weeks and spending several hours on the phone trying to get this resolved...in good faith. Kelsey, the CSM, was initially cordial but turned somewhat cooler when I was unwilling to accept no refund for a non used item. I did not return the phone or sim card at this point and I'm deciding on what avenues to pursue to resolve this simple issue. Store policy overrides common sense. I had to pay another month's service for my mother's land line company to keep her number, since it didn't port to Trac Phone...add roughly $45 on top of the $45 for the sim...$90 and still no phone! If not resolved, the media, BBB, and others will share the story. I'm frustrated, upset about my dying mother, and tired of fighting for every penny that someone is trying to take from me. A simple phone issue has cost you a repeat customer. Sad, but true.

This is not walmarts issue, it is tracphones. You need to contact them.

Walmart cannot return sims or phone cards because people use them and then try to return them. It is in their policy.

Walmart.com is the worst place on hearth to buy something. The customer service socks and they lie so much. They try to trick you. I recommend not buying staff at walmart.com. they say that the don't charge your account until they ship the item that is a total lie. It's better if you buy your staff on ebay or somewhere else.

Walmart is ***, the employee are always rude evil mean pathetic dog ***

seriously, I think that walmart training includes how to be the worst customer service person possible and how to be really rude to customers nothing else. almost EVERY cashier I have ever dealt with at walmart or any walmart has been nothing more than insect...evil rude pathetic trash person. ive maybe encountered one or two decent cashiers that's about it...EVERYONE that works at Wal-Mart is rude obnoxious pathetic inferior trash...the cashiers are slime and *** from some other part of the universe...terrible rude *** people...the worst. the only good thing is self check out...so we aren't FORCED to have to even interact with the lunatics that work there... and deal with their bad rude crazy or just mean attitudes. recently I went to a Wal-Mart on alafaya and mcculloch rd. of course, self check out was closed, so I was forced to encounter another worthless walmart ugly troll...some fat dumb spic female who even laughed at me..she NEVER greeted me, said how are you or thank you have a nice day--NOTHING. she literally just laughed at me and said "HERE U GO" for the receipt. this ugly worthless loser did this on purpose just to treat me badly...shes an ugly rude skank that needs to be beaten or something...im so sick of these RUDE worthless imbeciles that work there...I really thnk the only requirements for working there are that you HAVE to be rude ugly fat dumb crazy or weird...why are we customers FORCED to deal with these useless dumb pitiful sub human rats that work there and their bad attitudes and rudeness? self checkout needs to be open ALL the time. in fact that's one of the hells of going there at night...you HAVE to encounter one of the ugly filthy lunatics that is a cashier...walmart SUCKS.... then I went to another neighborhood market on alafaya trail and curry ford...same thing...one fat ugly white cow cashier...f*cking probably 300 lbs...and she was RUDE and ignored me too. she just scanned my items, never greeted me and pretended she was on the phone when she wasn't. then, instead of saying bye or thanks or anything to me, she yelled at a customer behind me rather than even acknowledge I was there...how *** rude can these filthy cows even get? how hard is it to say...how are you? anything? of course done intentionally because its a way for them to just mistreat or degrade someone...because they are ugly trolls who look like *** are *** and treat customers with disrespect... these are the WORST people on the planet besides the garbage they hire to work at mcdonalds...Wal-Mart is the WORST....and never a bye thank you...nothing...ill mannered worthless *** work there...and that goes for the supercenters too which hire masses of sub human rude *** too....every cashier is just RUDE..mean..jerks...very few are remotely normal.... the stock people at walmart at night are crazy filthy males who abuse women who go to shop at night and begin aggressively getting LOUD on purpose if a female Is near as a way to irritate bother shock or abuse the person....many males do this because they are just losers I assume who work there...again walmart only hires the worst most pathetic ugliest most evil people to exist... I once worked for a company on the e colonial drive location...back near the electronics dept...I didn't work for Wal-Mart but worked IN Wal-Mart...during my time there the ugly animals that worked back in the electronics dept regularly lied to my manager making up lies about me, trying to get me fired...seriously...this is what tehse psychopaths did...the lunatics that work at walmart are all the craziest losers to exist...also, I had Wal-Mart males help me set up a table sometimes and the nasty walmart managers got angry claiming that I was using up THEIR employees time helping me set up a 5 min table...huh? I was a female who needed manual labor help...as well as the fact that the company I worked for paid Wal-Mart to allow them to work there or gave Wal-Mart some of the profits...yet Wal-Mart managers are crazy jerks low lifes and evil people....they made a HUGE issue out of it..as if they were doing something big...Wal-Mart is a terrible company that hires degenerates and *** people...fat ugly cows losers...the sh*ttiest people on the planet work there...Wal-Mart is *** and full of the worst people....I also think the Wal-Mart in Orlando is worse than other wal-marts in others cities....hiring only white trash or n*gger trash degenerates and degenerates in general...*** Wal-Mart you *** *** company...and your pathetic *** rude disgraceful employees....teach these filthy animals some customer service skills you piece of *** company....

Wow, I have been shopping at Wal-Mart's for a long time and have yet to encounter a bad employee, bad service or anything like the stories I have been reading! And I am really disgusted about the comment about a "Spic cashier" really?

I will have to say that I have encountered some less than tasteful customers but never a rude employee.

If you are rude yourself, than that's how you will be treated. Treat other's how you want to be treated, with respect.

Guest

ha. if someone calls you a horse...

Guest

if the problem seems to follow you, maybe you should start looking on how you act to people.

Guest

Yeah, because they would want to purposely deal with customers such as yourself that call them trash as you say, inferior. That's the reason the self checkouts were closed, right? Right...

Walmart - Halloween Candy Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Walmart refused to accept return of unopened Halloween candy. They have always done this in the past.

Do not put up with this. There are better places to go and not be treated like garbage because the usual amount of children did not come trick or treating.

I bought Halloween candy at WalMart and went to return it (2014 Halloween) and was told they would not take it back. I persisted asked to speak with a manager.

The person behind the return counter said he was a manager. I then asked to speak to his supervisor.

At that point, he agreed to take it back and refund the purchase price. With many situations like this, persist, and if you don't get a positive response, ask to speak to the person's manager.

So in other words throw a temper tantrum like a five year old child to get your way? They could have stuck to their policy and called the police on you if you refused to leave.

Remember you are not five, a simple time out is not punishment for throwing a temper tantrum. If an adult throws a temper tantrum they can call the police.

Quanasia Fbj

Telling you "no" is not the same as treating you like garbage. Why not take the candy to school and share it with your first grade classmates.

Then again with the rules about not sharing snacks in schools due to allergies perhaps you are not allowed to do this? Either way most places don't take back food or seasonal items.

You are trying to return both. Why not have mommy or daddy read the return policy for you before making this post

Overcharged over $30 in two days on a total of five items.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Was charged $70 on a $58 hand vacuum. The next day was charged $29 on a $21 heater and $4 on $3 worth of mixed nuts. I am on a fixed income and can't afford these frequent overcharges (which happen an average of one out of three trips to this Walmart store). I will give half my SS check to anyone who ever sees me in a Walmart store again. It's time for another class action suit to curtail this illegal activity. They lost a suit in 2008 and paid 2.1 million damages in California for overcharging customers. My hat is in the ring for another suit to stop this criminal activity.

I agree with the rest. I always thought it was funny how nobody raised *** over the price being lower than thought to be.

If it really was a problem to you, you would have said something immediately.

Quanasia Fbj

You can barely afford to buy day to day stuff and you want a lawyer, if this is the case you need to be in jail because you are taking the SS check from those that need it. You are stealing from them if you can afford a lawyer.

Guest

So you don't know how to watch the register as your items are being rung up? If you believed the price to be cheaper then why didn't you say so at the time of purchase and have an associate check it for you.

You chose to buy the items and take them home so why are you complaining now. Looking for a handout maybe, since you seem to be so interested in Walmart lawsuits. Nobody is forcing you to shop at Walmart. I find it amusing that nobody ever complains or yells lawsuit when the prices ring up cheaper than thought to be.

A wrong price is a wrong price whether it be more or less. Oh wait...it's okay as long as it's beneficial to you, right???

Not a complaint, but a compliment!

Obviously I can't speak for everyone, but I am personally pleased with our local Wal-Mart. The employees are friendly (most of them anyway), they are quick to resolve any issues, and have the best prices around. I've worked in retail for 4 years in total. In my time, I've seen all sorts of customer ranging from the entitled, the impatient, the one looking for a discount, etc. If an employee doesn't seem "happy-go-lucky" when you complain, its most likely due tot he fact you're not the first person to complain. They've heard it all, most of them being silly complaints that the customer probably brought on themselves.

I'm not defending Wal-Mart and I'm not defending the customers of Wal-Mart. This is just a compliment for remaining cool and collected when the going gets rough. I will tell you about an experience I had. Again, this is not a complaint!

Since we're not in the best financial circumstances at the moment, we've been looking for ways to save money on everyday items. I discovered coupons.com. When I went through the self-checkout with the exact item as advertised on the coupon and scanned the coupon, it appeared it was accepted. After swiping my debit card, selecting the payment method, etc; the self-checkout informed me I didn't have a valid item for the coupon. To inform them of a possible error within their system, I asked an employee for some help. She didn't want to listen to me, constantly interrupted me, and didn't want to help at all. I accepted that and left. I later called the 800 number to let them know of my experience. I also called the store. I wasn't expecting any compensation, but they provided it anyway. Even if I wasn't offered anything, I wouldn't have cared. I know things happen, and being pulled in a million different directions by customers doesn't help your frustration level.

To the employees of Wal-Mart: When things seem rough, just remember - For every nasty "customer", there are ten others who will make a bad day good! Hang in there!

We are regular customers of your Palm Coast, Florida store.

Most recently, we purchased two[2] android trac- phones.

Your store Associate-"NANDO", in their telephone department has displayed excellent knowledge of the product, and has helped us in the set-up procedures, opn a number of occasions!

Equally important, his calm, professional, and very patient manner, especially appreciated by my wife , and me who profess to be non-techie types!

Hoping that he will be cited with a management commendation in the very near future for his ability to service Walmart customers in a very effective manner. Arthur M.

I agree with you on your comments about WalMart. In the many years that I have shopped in WalMart stores, I have never had what could be called a bad experience.

I have taught my adult mentally handicapped daughter that when she needs help finding something to go to an employee, say "excuse me sir or maam" whichever the case may be and then ask for what she needs help with. It shouldn't be any big effort for the customer to be polite and remember that the employees are only human.

I ordered something online and got the wrong item

I got the wrong item. asked for a mailing label and the correct item.

was hung up on 3 times. they lied and told me they would be shipping me the correct item "quickly" but a week later I have nothing but the wrong thing. LIARS!!!!!!!! I've called 3 times and each time I was hung up on.

they pretend there are no supervisors to talk to. I called my bank and reported fraud on Walmart. all I wanted was a *** litter box that cost 10$ instead I got something I didn't order and it is up to me to do everything to get not only my money back but return the wrong item. this is a crock of ***.

what happened to the customer is always right and always helping the disabled. I order online because i'm disabled and cannot drive to a Walmart to buy the right *** thing.

I was sent wrong item as well. All I want is the correct item.

Not sure what they will say. Seeings how they don’t have an option online to just have them send the correct item. Just says return it for refund or replacement.

Why would I want a replacement of the wrong item? And yes I want a refund if they will not correct the issue along with my shipping that was not cheap.

They did not say that the mistake was the customers. They simply said that humans make mistake.

Perhaps you should have had a parent read the post before replying.

They have a good point about being disabled, they want equal treatment as well as special treatment because they are disabled. In other words they don't want to be discriminated against but they yet want to have preferred treatment because they are disabled.

Guest

I have had the same issues they ship anything remotely like the item. order one kind of pet food get a pet food but not the one you order.

they need to look at quality control in the warehouses (never had this issue with amazon) sorry walmart you fail in this area.

and I am sure you inventory never matches up since we ordered one item and got a different item.

Guest

There are other ways for disabled people to get around to shop in stores, other than driving themselves. There are cabs, buses, friends, relatives, etc.

Are you trying to call the local store or the online customer service? Myself I don't know why you need a mailing label. When I have to return an item that I have ordered, and it doesn't come with a mailing label, I just get it ready to return and write the return address on the package. Was the item that you want to return shipped directly from the WalMart warehouse or from one of the numerous other companies that list on the WalMart web site?

The store customer service people can't help you. Have you tried emailing the WalMart.com site? Quit playing the disabled card, it doesn't do anything for you. It is getting to be so that he customer isn't always right, anyplace and I have never heard of any retail place that always helps the disabled.

A lot depends on the disabled person's attitude. The "woe is me" attitude doesn't do much for most people.

100 satisfaction (with receipt only)2

My complaints against WalMart and their policies and practices. I have been a loyal Walmart customer for many years. I have (like most people) spent thousands of dollars at their stores. I enjoyed the shopping experience and considered a trip an outing I was looking forward to. However, those enjoyable experiences are a thing of the past. I visited my local store yesterday to return several items (without a receipt) that came to a big ole grand total of $121.81. The manager on duty was kind enough to approve my items for return after looking (from head to toe). The associate then told me she could not complete my transaction because I had 3 returns in a 45 day period without a receipt. I requested they still accept my returns as I am and have been a long time customer. Heck, I even called 1-800-Walmart and voiced my concerns. I received a phone call from the associate manager at my frequented store explaining the policy, um which I already understood. He went on to explain this is WalMart's Corporate policy to keep dishonest people from stealing items and then returning to store to get a cash refund. He then advised me to seek out a a family member or friend and have them return the items (as long as they themselves did not have 3 returns without a receipt.) Does that make any sense to anyone else? Also, I do believe that if Walmart has a problem with theft then maybe, just maybe they should employ more security inside the store. Let me also add, the manager's salary of each store has a bonus that is Directly AFFECTED by how many returns they accept. Now my Other complaints: I am tired of stepping over dirty diapers, squished french fries and trash in general in the Walmart parking lot. I am tired of standing all the way back in the Jr Underwear section because there are only 2 live checkers, and 4 of the 5 self-checkout lanes are broken, or the 12 people in front of me have 100 plus items to self-check. I am annoyed beyond belief that you can no longer just run into the store for a couple of items and expect to actually get out of there in less than 30 minutes. (See prior complaint why) I tired of the long customer service lines and the fact there is usually only 1 person working it. I am sick of shopping at a dirty, hot and understocked stock. I am outraged that Walmart does not care about their employees and this has led to a store atmosphere with employees that are not happy at their jobs. CORPORATE WELFARE. Last, I am tired of Walmart Management and Corporate refusing to acknowledge any of the above issues. Walmart simply NO LONGER VALUES YOU, the customer or their employees. The SOONER EVERYONE FOLLOWS ME OVER DOLLAR GENERAL, Freds, Family Dollar and Main Street America, THE BETTER. Take a stand and maybe, just maybe their management will initiate some LONG overdue Corporate house cleaning. (Like the saying goes, Don't hold your breathe.) Unhappy with Walmart? Not only are loyal customers familiar with the policy but they also strive to follow it to the best of their abilities. Loyal customers do not expect the rules to be bent for them.

If an exception is made on the basis of your loyalty, that's great. If not, then do not take it personally. Managers must follow a policy just like the associates who work under them.

Walmart should strive to satisfy customers.

That said, they have to protect their assets. They cannot satisfy customers if they lose money on ***-artists.

Guest

With how often you apparently have to return things it seems like you would realize you should hang on to your receipt. You claim to know the policy but seem adamant they should change it just for you.

Why? Because you shop there all the time?So do lots of people. And what's this bs about the managers bonus being affected by the number of returns? Where did you pull this tidbit of information?

Customer returns that are not resellable are sent back to the vendors who in turn issue a credit to the store for the cost of the merchandise so generally returns do not affect the bottom line (with a few exceptions of course). One exception would be when loyal customers steal things and then try to return them without a receipt to get money for stolen goods.

In the future, just keep your receipts, then you won't have anymore of these frustrating experiences. There's even a new app where you can scan your receipt with your phone and keep a digital copy, then when you have to return something you just have to show a screen on your phone.

Deasha Ndg

It's one thing to make a purchase and then return it even once within 45 days, to do so THREE times within a 45 day period, let alone to constantly do so without receipts becomes abuse of the entire return process.

With the utmost respect, Walmart has probably classified you as a habitual returner and would prefer to not have you as a customer.

Guest

If you think they should have more security perhaps instead of complaining you should apply there. Being a loyal customer means nothing, even loyal customers steal.

It does not matter if you shop there once a week or once a year, the same rules apply to everyone, from your review you think because you go there often you should get special treatment. I agree with the other poster if you really went there that often you would know that you cannot return an item without a receipt, you think dollar store will be different think again. It is not like the items were $5 they were over $100. If over 45 days you already had three returns you need to hold on to your receipt.

I don't think you are a child as the other poster does but you act like one. I am sure on your third return they warned you about this but you expected special treatment because you are a loyal customer.

Guest

This makes a lot of sense, many stores have the same policy, and if you really were a loyal customer as you claim instead of bSing it in your complaint to make yourself look important you would know their return policy. Next time you buy an expensive item hold on to the receipt until you get home(assuming you are not shopping with a parent) and give the receipt to a parent right away so you don't lose it.

Also I believe you have to be 13 to have a facebook page? Do your parents know you use facebook?

I sure hope you feel better after your extremely long rant about all your complaints about WalMart. I am pretty some are real and some you made up.

Are you aware that there isn't a real world such as "ole," no matter what part of the country you come from? It doesn't matter whether how long you have been shopping there, they still have their policies and it sounds like you return a lot of things without receipts. Whoever would have several items totaling as much as you say yours did and not have a receipt? Something sounds fishy with your story, therefore, being they wouldn't do what you wanted, you decided to go on a rant about other things that have nothing to do with your original complaint.

You and I both know all stores have a problem with theft. They don't have to hire more security people, they have cameras all over the store and there is somebody sitting in the security office watching the cameras. As far as you being tired of stepping over trash in general in the parking lot, are you aware that it is customers just like you that tosses stuff on the ground instead of either keeping it in your car or walking to one of the trash cans? What exactly do you mean understocked stock?

Do you by any chance mean understocked shelves? From what I have heard each individual store doesn't order their merchandise, corporate does it for them, by how much of each item is sold in a certain time frame. Let's face it sometimes there will be an item that is sold out sooner than expected. I'm sure WalMart won't miss you and your temper tantrums.

You should either get back on your meds or else take mommy with you when you go shopping. It is time to grow up.

Racism returns to Wal-mart

Been doing good with Wally World for awhile after having some problems. Went into a different Wal-mart for a change in Grapevine and was followed by security all thro the store. I finally said to one of them why they was following me? They said they weren't. I mean come on foos, I seen yo face in every aisle I been in, foo. When I was leaving that was the final straw. The alarm went off cause I had an item the cashier didn't scan. Crack a door greeta came over and did everything but strip search me. She basically accused me of stealing. I nearly smacked that old crack a up her head. I am filing a discrimination complaint against this store now.

maybe if you got an education and learned how to SPEAK and write clearly you wouldn't be "profiled" like you claim.

I would also be your pants were half way down your rear instead of at your waist where they should be!!

YOU'RE claiming discrimination after calling a greeter a crack a? Racist thing to say, don't you think?

She is not racist, she is trolling, she has accused various companies of racism and used racist slang. Yeah she is using racial slurs but not to insult but to troll.

Don't you have some welfare check to collect? Go away.

I wish you were funny. Sadly, you're not.

Even white people get stopped like that. It's not unheard of.

You do know that Walmart doesn't have security guards don't you? They have loss prevention associates who dress in regular clothing and try to catch people stealing (which is their job).

Stolen and damaged items do affect employee bonuses.

Plus, stealing is wrong.

I gave up when you said "***." You are the type of person furthering the stereotype that black people search for excuses to cry racism.
