Competing for worst store?

I have never in my life been in a walmart store this bad before. At around 10pm they shut down all but one entrance, at around 11pm they shut down all but one register, at around 12am they shut down all registers and have only the self checkouts available. I have photos of how they block the entire isle with pallets so you cant go down them at all or you cant cut across.. you have to go all the way around to get to what you need. For example, the South entrance was closed because it was after dark...so I went in the North entrance and walked straight ahead without realizing that in order to get to the mens clothing..which i was going to cut across to get to..I had to go all the way back to the entrance or all the way back to the milk and then back track. They completely block off the beer with pallets of water ( I have photos). While in the store I called the manager to let them know about the pallets of water and the manager (female) tells me that they stopped selling beer at 10pm. I questioned her by asking,"Really? You stop selling beer at 10pm on Friday night??" she tells me to hang on a minute and then gets back on the line to tell me she was mistaken and the water will be moved. Every time ...EVERY time I have been back at night and walked by that isle they have the beer blocked off with pallets of water. The employees block the isles and are rude if you need by to get something. I had a checker get hateful with me because I was paying with one dollar bills (my total was $60) and he told me I should have cashed them in at the bank before I did my shopping. I informed him that if he kept it up I would seek him out and pay with quarters the next time. I don't do extreme couponing or anything of that sort but on occasion I will a few to use. It is a fight EVERY SINGLE TIME! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to read the coupons. For instance, ( I get this a lot) if a manufacturers coupon says, $1.00 off 130oz or larger Tide they will tell me I cant use it because I got the 160oz bottle and the coupon is for the 130oz. I am really quite sick of having to teach your checkers how to do their job. I have started doing my of my shopping online and my grocery shopping at my local aldi and kroger store. I am slowly phasing out this walmart...not ALL walmart stores...Just mine. It seems like ever since this walmart got a new manager it has gone to *** in a handbag and no one wants to do anything to fix it.

It does not matter if they stop selling beer after ten anyways because judging from your childish attitude and behavior you are way too young to buy beer, 8 is too young to be drinking and out this late anyway. Also the stores close lines and entrances at certain times because they get less people than, they close lines and registers as well. Learn to wait patiently, and learn that the world does not revolve around you.

If the coupon says it is for 130 oz. of Tide, why should you think you can use it on the 160 oz Tide.

Most of your complaints seem like standard procedures. Every non-24 hour store ive ever shopped at closes all but one door and only has self check open between about 11pm and 6am.

The pallets are also pretty standard. They can't pull the pallets out during high traffic hours of the day so they have to stock them at night and since they are big, they are going to block some things. Now, as far as the beer thing, in my state, I know that there is a cutoff time in which you can purchase alcohol but I'm not 100 percent sure on when it is because my local store closes at 11pm. I know you can't buy it before noon on Sundays either.

This isn't Walmart rule, its state law.

This varies from start to state though, so look into your local laws. As far as the coupons, well, everybody makes mistakes.

Standing in line to pick up medicine is to difficult for disabled people. The pharmacy would run much more efficiently if they went back to the take a number system.

I guess I'm lucky. My pharmacy is nice enough that if I let them know that I can't stand and wait I'm like they will tell me to have a seat and they call me ny name when I'm ready. I still have to wait my turn but I can do it while sitting comfortably.

I think she means that if they still had the number system she can sit on a bench near the pharmacy and wait for her number to be called or relax instead of standing, because she has trouble standing.

What is wrong with waiting for your number to be called? What I am getting from this is you are saying you are disabled so you should not have to wait for your number to be called, you should get preferred treatment and be helped before those who were there before you? However I bet if you were singled out for being disabled you would scream discrimination, it is still discrimination to get preferred treatment, only it would be in your favor so it would not matter to you.

Walmart - Receipt Checking Review

I was at Walmart on marron street on oside ca. And honestly I won't come back to it I was buying something at the macdonalds location inside the walmart in front of the registers when I look back and saw this product that I ask my son to like then I proceed to check out the lady that was on the registere was right there in front of me watching me all the time then because I purchased already 2 things from walmart I had my own bag already then she ask me with a bad attitude to see my receive nd check my bag like if I stole something when she was there watching me the whole time like really she does bad customer service and make me feel bad because I don't go there to still *** old lady ok she pissed me off bad she shouldn't even be there in that area doing customer service if she's not gonna do what she's supposed to with her bad attitude..... Seriously you guys really need better customer service people that at least ask how are you not like this grouchy lady called RACHEL I really don't wana see there again seriously she should not be doing customer service if she doesn't know how to do a good customer service with a nice attitude I don't really feel like coming back to this walmart and they better talk to her about her bad service

I think she is trying to say that she bought something, then she went to Mcdonald's in Wal-mart to eat something and she then went to buy something else after that and the casher asked her to check the bag to make sure she did not steal anything. She is upset because the items in the bag were bought the first time before she went into Mcdonalds to eat and because she bought something again on the same trip they got suspicious. The first time she bought an item for herself, then her son wanted something and she bought the item for him and was asked to open her bag and show her receipt.

I agree, I think I read this review written by someone who is like 9 years old(something about a Zelda game and wanting Walmart to stock them), they too had bad grammar, spelling and punctuation, but at least theirs was understandable and had some kind of structure, this is a mess. The worst in that review is some of the people poking fun of that child's spelling had terrible spelling themselves.

Not helpful employee

Walmart needs to focus on training their employees. I used self checkout service, but the machine didn't accept the debit card. I didn't have any cash or credit card, so I called the employee to resolve the problem. The employee said that all of the machines in their store were not accepting debit card. There was not any notice about it around the scanner. If I knew it, I would not have scanned all of the items. The employee was just standing in front of me, saying nothing. She was not willing to solve the problem, and she didn't even try something. She was like 'I don't know, I can't do anything for you' Because she didn't do anything, I just went to ATM in the store to get the cash. I had to pay the transaction fee. If the employee tried to solve the problem, I would not have to pay the fee. I can't believe that all of the card machines were out of order in WALMART.

What exactly did you expect her to do wave a wand and make the machine start accepting debit cards. Yeah machines sometimes break down unfortunately, just like websites temporary don't work.

If you are old enough you would know this, shame on you for stealing your parents debit card. Also how did you lose $32, the transaction fee is $2 at maximum.

You don`t know what you are talking about, for your information I was not told that the debit machine was out of order, yeah there was a sign but people don`t pay attention to signs, and not one but all machines were out of order. Someone should have been making a page that the debit machines were out of order for self check outs.

At the one 30 minutes away from this one they always make an announcement as well as post a note that the debit machine was out of order. What if the person cannot read, this means that Walmart discriminates against those that do not read or immigrants. A simple sign means nothing, people do not pay attention to signs.

Someone should have made a page that the debit machines were not working. I missed the sign not because I do not know how to read but because I did not notice it.

Your explanation of the event is not consistent. You say that the employee told you that the machines were not accepting debit cards and then you say "I wasn't told the machine was out of order." Then you say someone should have been making a page that the debit machines were out of order for self checkouts and mention the one 30 minutes away that does.

So you admit there was a sign advising you of the problem but you did not pay attention/chose to ignore it. That is not Walmart's problem.

They advised you before you started to ring up anything that machines were not accepting debit. Also your complaint revolved around the employee doing nothing. Did you want them to tell every person coming up to the register "we aren't accepting debit". Sorry, if I am that employee I assume if you know how to use a self checkout you know how to read.

Not only that but the employee would also have no reason to know or assume you are using debit. You also could have simply left the groceries and chosen not to pay, instead obviously you felt it was worth your time to pay the transaction fee rather than go to the bank and come back or take your business elsewhere.

It sucks but it's true.

There really was nothing the cashier could have done besides apologize, which she did. Be an adult and realize the world isn't perfect and sometimes things go wrong.

You are so right in saying people don't read signs or even pay attention when the machine itself is telling you it is only accepting a certain form of payment , do you still want to continue.. They just press the yes button and get highly upset when it doesn't take the former of payment they are wanting to use.. With that being said , the cashier should have been more attentive to the situation and suspended your order and taken you at the register no matter how annoyed she might have been

Yeah and this customer should have been more attentive to the sign that "was not" there as well, here it works both ways. If they took her to a register the people waiting in line would be annoyed because of someone who choose to be not pay attention to the sign and possibly pages.

She need to stop day dreaming and take personal responsibility for her actions. We are all adults here, and sometimes unfortunate things happen.

For her to expect the cashier to fix a problem beyond her control is foolish. If this customer had been attentive she would have known there was a sign and went to the registers.

I received a "guarantee card" for an iPad mini in the store from an employee who had an entire cart full of iPads. I asked her if I could have one, and she said "No, these were purchased already". Then why were they in her cart? She told me to go to the register to buy this card.

After waiting almost an hour in line, I was told by the cashier that she could not ring it up at the register and I had to go wait in line at consumer service. Almost every register was funneling all customers who had a card into these 2 lines. After waiting another 30 minutes in line I was told that I would get my $100 gift card (promo) when the iPad shipped, NOT in the store. I had to register my iPad card on a website and then purchase the iPad with the card online. This was inconvenient because I planned on using my $100 gift card for other purchases but was unable to do so.

The website took over an hour to load because of "high volumes". I finally purchased the iPad and was told the delivery date would be Dec. 14-22. This morning, I checked and a new delivery date was posted: Dec. 23-27. I just checked again and it says "Processing: Your order is estimated to arrive between 12/26 and 12/31."

WHAT?!?! So much for the guaranteed before Christmas delivery date.

I am going to report WALMART for false advertising and hope you will do the same!! We need to file a class action suit.

Update: The customer service rep told me this "Processing" message was a "website error" and that all items were guaranteed to arrive by Dec. 22, without even asking for my order number. After I insisted he check my order number, he told me to wait until the 22nd and my item would arrive on time. He said a lot of people have been panicking and calling about this (no kidding?). I asked him if the item would really arrive on a Sunday and he hesitated and said "No it will be before then". Then I asked him "So am I out of luck if it doesn't?" and he hesitantly said "No, it will".

So Walmart apparently expects us to take our chances here and risk not having a gift for our children on Christmas.

I tried purchasing a cell phone and protection plan via walmart.com but they kept processing the order, then canceling it after a few days when it was going to ship, plus the arrival date was 2 weeks later than promised right at checkout. But they refused to honor any of my payment methods (PayPal with any account I used, Visa, Mastercard) and so I was on the phone wasting my about to expire cell phone minutes an hour at a time with Walmart.com customer service and they never did 'fix' the issue they had with my 'account'.

Only that it was either 1) an error on their end or 2) they couldn't verify the security *** so they refused to ship the order.

I refuse to attempt to buy anything at walmart.com now, so they have potentially lost a lot of business from my family.

same here with the beats head phones took an nice interest raising month for them to finally send my headphones out then when they get to the store I find out its an all white pair. The only pair that don't sell guess since i didnt have the option to choose the color when they were taking my money for them they decided to toss me them bottom sellers. I agree one hundred percent with you!!!!!~ I waited for the beats headphones. Processing for two weeks and changed arrival dates again on this past Monday and Today for deadline way past Christmas day!!!!!

What don't they understand about guarantee? Got me once but never again.

Bunn coffee filters

I have been buying Bunn coffee filters from Walmart for years. All of a sudden they have quit carrying them. I went in today to buy several boxes and after finding someone to help me they researched the product and said we no longer have them. I asked why and she said she didn't know why. Walmart still sells the Bunn coffee maker but no filters. We live in a small town with no where else to go. Now all the Bunn coffee drinkers have to go out of town to find filters:( my question is why sell the maker without selling the filters. Yes you need these filters so you won't have coffee grounds in your opt of coffee. Regular filters don't work at all.

Bunn filters are still sold by Walmart. Your location may simply have sold out and the employee you talked to may have been lazy or unwilling to check the back room for more. You can even go to Walmart.com and have them shipped directly to you or to your local store if that's more convenient.

They checked on one of those hand held scanners and it said that they had none left and none were coming in. Guess it is just that location.

BUGS ON FRUIT AGAIN!

I was shopping at walmart on dave ward drive in conway arkansas recently. I absolutely love fresh fruit and spotted some huge gorgeous nectarines.

I decided i had to have some but as i approached the stand where they were displayed a huge swarm of what i call fruit gnats rose from among the fruit and took flight. Some of the nectarines on the bottom as it turns out were rotted severely. I mean rot where the rotten blistered spot has opened up and is leaking stinking brown liquid everywhere. I found a rep that i very quietly and discreetly pointed this out to.

I found the attitude they immediately developed to be unacceptable so here we are! They didnt seem to think that living bugs crawling around on the fruit was a big deal. Well its like this. As bugs are crawling on food their also puking *** and *** on said fruit.

Thats totally NASTY! Lets see what type of einstein comments the druggies and rejects at this store leave to try and defend this.

People who have no common sense about produce, and bugs. Do you really expect the store to toss out all that fruit, because you see some gnats? I got a store where those bugs fly in the door, and hang out by the soda fountain. They like the sugar on the nozzles and you can clean the nozzle all you want to, and they still are there a few minutes later..

If you really liked that fruit upon first seeing it, and you can be sure, they have been there for a long, long time, from where ever they picked said fruit.

All you do, is take the ones you want, and take em home, and wash them before you eat them... At my store, all the people have to do is run the soda fountain a bit, and wash out what gnats might be crawling up the tail end of the nozzle! Common sense at play here...

What really erks me, is people coming and filling their cup with ice, and then pressing said button, and there goes a gnat into their cup. They go eeeeeeeek!

Dump the cup, and toss it into the trash! We charge money for the empty cups, and I had one lady in the back, that wasted several cups, and tossed them in the trash.

I am sorry, but cups, and ice are not free, and picky people like you that obviously are paranoid about some dumb bugs, that come back, year after year, should be sent to a farm, where I would put you on a tractor, and make you eat those gnats all summer long, plowing a field.

Walmart - Assistant Manager Review from Bellevue, Washington

I had an issue yesterday with the assistance manager my wife had a set of tires put on our van a few months back an i had to replace the Breaks so i had someone replace the rear he broke several wheel studs trying to *** the wheel to change the breaks he told us about it and I went to change the front and the same problem the wheels were never removed for anything no flats no other work that the would need removing till now when i replaced the breaks. The guy that changed the tires used and impact wrench an cross threaded 80 percent of the wheel nuts.I took the van over there to wal mart automotive an showed the asst manager he's trying to tell me that i done it cause on the receipt has a torque specs on it im also a mechanic i no about impact tools as long as you keep your finger on the trigger it will keep twisting the nut .In this case the guy cross threaded them. i have a 9 year olo son with cebral palsy he has to go to therapy 3 times a week no what if my wife or me would have had a flat tire i broke most of the studs off so i could change the breaks on the road i could not have done anything me and my wife & son would have been stuck in this heat waiting for a tow truck. we brought two sets of tires from Wal Mart i did my grocery shopping there well Wal Mart for a few lug nuts and studs your loosing a valuable coustomer. I thought you stand behind a safety factor like this but i see you don't give a dam about the people that keeps your paychecks coming i won't be contributing to them anyway more i don't care if others stores are higher in price i will be using them. People out there this os the Wal Mart on Boulder Hwy & Flamingo.

Review about Card Charge

I GOT MY MONEY BACK AFTER TWO WEEKS! So I had $700 dollars stolen off my card used during two transactions almost back to back of one another at the same Target store in New York. I live in PA. I went to go use my card and found out a block had been put on it. So I waited to speak with CS and got some foreign person. I asked why my card was blocked and not working and that's when they informed of the suspicious use of my card. So they put a block on my card and sent a new one then asked me if I wanted to dispute the transaction. Uh duh I said yes. Mind you, I was informed that I would have to wait to see if Target approved the transaction or not and took the money on hold. Which they said would take 3-5 days... it took 2. Then they wanted me to email some form from their website to start the dispute after taking general information. Umm this was so shady to me how was I supposed to email a form that's only printable online and would need to be filled out in person, scanned, then emailed? So I NEVER did this. It seemed fishy and the last thing I wanted was for them to have my signature. Lol paranoid, I know. This is what I did... I called back everyday after the initial block to find out if Target took the money on hold (they did after 2 days). I called the Walmart Money Card CS back and found out what store the charges were from, where the store was located, the store number (as all Targets have a #) and how much was taken from my card. My dispute was on file and I was told it would take a week for them to do their investigation and that a person would be in contact with me for the investigation, which no one ever was. I researched the exact Target that my card was used at and contacted them to let them know what happened. I called corporate Target as I know they've had issues with card theft lately but was told it was an issue that would be resolved through my bank. I called Walmart Money Card CS back and let them know I spoke with the target store where things were purchased, I talked to corporate, and I filed a police report (I hadnt). They got all scared and frantic on the phone and told me that I would still need to wait for their investigation to find out if my money would be refunded. I told them they should have never released the money that was on hold by Target if they had already flagged it. That they were supposed to call Target Corporation to resolve the issue in the 3-5 day span they said Target had to take the money on hold. The customer care person told me they did this process after the money is taken. Ummm does this not seem fishy. So I waited a week after blowing them up everyday. And boo yah my money was back on the new card that I had received. No call. No notice. Just me checking the account and seeing money was taken. I never lost my card and only had one. So I'm not sure how someone had a card that was linked to my account. Hmm Walmart very fishy. My advice be aggressive. Not with threats but facts. Let them know YOU know what you're talking about. Investigating where and how your card was used. If in a store or online. They have they info of the area of where your card was used and the store info make them give it to you. Ruffle feathers. AND ALWAYS TALK TO THE SUPERVISORS.

Price Match Review

The prices that the item is over or in is not the prices that the register rings up. This is cheating the custom. I have had this experience more than 5 times. The excuse the mangement gives is the other customers put them there. They want you to check a bar code. I don't think so !!!! and do not want you to get it at that price.

Walmart store 360 in Okla does not price match guarantee items from their own Walmart.com! Not only that manager Terry has poor customer service skills. How can they call it price match guarantee if they don't even match their own web prices? I don't want to hear we get a cheaper price on line cause we have to pay shipping, hello site to store shipping is free!

Have them create an account since you are under 13 and pay them back. Web pricing is the same for every store, cheaper so why complain.

You can obviously tell that this review was written by a child. How do I know this review was written by a child, first of all they mistake being told no as having poor customer service skills, and second they don't know that online prices are often lower than store prices and not only Walmart but most companies don't honor online prices.

I always see complaints from Walmart, Target from eight year old children such as the OP complaining about the exact same thing. I often see eight year old children such as the OP mistaking being told no as being rude or poor customer service.

I dropped off a prescription on 8/21/14 that had one refill left, which expired on 8/28/14. I went to the pharmacy and the drive thru several times to pickup. There was always a long line in both places. I sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes one day and never got to speak to a customer rep. I went into the store to pick up the prescription on 9/8/14. They informed me they had placed the medicine back on the shelf, because I did not pick up in a timely manner. They said they would refill. I came to pick up the medicine the next day. It was the wrong prescription. Then they preceded to tell me they could not refill the correct prescription because it had expired. I explained to the pharmacist the prescription had not expired when I dropped it off and asked where it was posted the customer had to pick up the prescription in so many days. She told me it was not posted but it was the law. How am I supposed to know what the "pharmacy law" is? This happened at the Walmart in Muskogee, OK. I am now changing to Walgreen's Pharmacy.

When I worked in a pharmacy we only kept un picked up prescriptions for 15 days before putting them back on the shelves.When you went to pick up your prescription it was expired.By law they cannot sell you a prescription that is expired.You need to contact your doctor for that or you can have your pharmacy fax your doctor but your doctor may say no or not even get back to us.This one is your bad.

wow you had a whole week plus 3 days to pick up you script. be an adult. most places have a week police...walgreens/cvs...

Good luck with that. Word from my grandmother is that Walgreens isn't much better.

They also gave her the wrong prescription. It's THE law.

There's probably a reason that they have an expiration date, right?

I paid for a DVD I didn't get

I paid in cash for season 2 of eight is enough on the site to store web site They sent a e mail saying it was in I went to pick it up and they could not Find it they said one of there employes missed placed it they said you can't Come in and pay for something the site to store web site I Don't have the receate too prove I paid how are they going to make it right I have never ever hade this problem before this one I feel it's up to wallmart To make it right I really hope to hear something back soon

Walmart - Double Charge Review

I shopped at Walmart in farmingdale ny on Sunday my bill came up to 509.00 I thought that it was too much but the lines were long so I checked the reciept on the way home. I had been doubled billed by 49.00 I went back to the store really who buys two of the exact waffle makers and two of the same pants they were real nice and gave me my money back. To my surprise I got home and checked the bill again and the cashier scaned my bath rug and he asked me how many towels I had I told him 10 and he charged me for 10 more rugs at 14.99 instead of charging me for the towels at 6.00 each I had to go back to the store and get another refund for 81.00 they were nice of course because they were really wrong and they had the nerve to give me a 20.00 gift card they should have given me my order free in fact doubled my refund I shop a Walmart all the time and I have to travel to it I do not have a store in my town please contact me at 516 610-**** my name is Schnelle

Yeah, that is asking way too much. Concessions are all well and good to ask for but this is ridiculous.

Well aren't you special. Instead of being greedy, try being thankful for the $20.00 gift card they gave you.

They didn't have to give you anything. Btw, did they view the tape to get proof that you really didn't buy 2 waffle makers , 2 pairs of jeans or 10 rugs?Its just hard for me to believe that so many over charges were in that one order and you never noticed it till later?

Did you get your parents permission before posting personal information such as your phone number. That is a big no no and very dangerous.

Next time go shopping with mommy or daddy, that way they can tell you that you are over charged. An adult can calculate in their heads how much money they will be spending, and would certainly know if they were over charged by over $100. When you found out you were over charged for the jeans and waffle maker you should have told your mommy to look to see if there were any more mistakes that way you would not have to go back twice. It is nice that you are doing the family shopping for your parents but if you cannot figure out you were overcharged by $130 then you are obviously nine years old or very dull and by the fact that you threw a temper tantrum for getting a $20 gift card and demanding more instead of being grateful makes me think you are just a nine year old child who was not taught manners.

Be glad they gave you $20, they did not owe you anything. If you have the feeling of entitlement at age nine I hate to see what your future is like. They should have tore up the gift card since you did not appreciate it and asked you not to return. Did mommy and daddy ever teach you if someone gives you a gift you did not like to say thank you and be polite.

I guess not. I hope you are nine as I suspect because if you are an adult and act like this there is no hope for you.
