Walmart - Unavailable Shopping Carts Review

The last two times, we have visited, this Wal-Mart, there have been NO SHOPPING CARTS, NO MOTORIZED CARTS. I must use a cane to maneuver & need a motorized cart to shop.

Get your own f.ucking cart! Loser!

Guest

buy one. or better yet get into physical therapy.

Guest

Our Wal-mart has at least 8 motorized carts, wheelchairs, and plenty of shopping carts. Lots of times I have seen teenagers playing around on those motorized carts.

Racing, using them as bumper cars for example. What's even worse, is the parents that don't seem to care.

I suppose Wal-mart could ask them to prove they are disabled. Then again, we would have another Kanye West thing going on.

Teenagers are in high school and don't go shopping with their parents. Their parents are not there to stop them.

We have the same problem at out walmart of not enough shopping carts, I guess the child posting this expects them to have an unlimited supply or have them magically appear. Many get stolen. I have seen people walk home with them or leave them behind apartment buildings in playgrounds ect.

To replace them would be costly, then the OP's parents would complain about high costs. The OP does not care about this since the parent buys everything for them.

Walmart - Waiting Line Review from Machesney Park, Illinois

25-30 people waiting in line for 2 cashiers. Associates wandering around laughing, joking. Unacceptable.

It is possible that the associates were on their break or lunch or maybe perhaps they were off for the day. Not every associate is register trained so they can't just jump on a register without being trained first.

You shouldn't make assumptions. Sometimes cashiers call out and that happens often, leaving the store short handed. Walmart is not forcing you to shop there or stand waiting in line.

You have a choice to leave....problem solved. Wasn't that an easy solution?

He can't leave because he is five years old and his mommy takes him shopping. He should go no where without her permission.

Guest

Then leave the line, most likely you go shopping there because you don't want to spend 20 cents extra at Target, sure they have less lines, but you would have to pay 20 extra cents. If they had everyone at the registers you would be complaining no one is on the sales floor, no one is putting a gun to your head and forcing you to stay there to save 20 cents you made that decision yourself.

It is not like you are forced to shop there every week. Why not splurge and spend an extra 20 cents at Target.

Checker didn't do job

I went to Walmart today and bought over $120 of items. I check out and drive home. Where is the gal. of ice cream? The checker didn't make sure I got everything I paid for! So. I drove all the way back and the checker was gone. I talked to a manager and she wanted my receipt which I could not locate. So, she could not trust a 62 yr. man for a $6 item even saying that it was the checker's job to make sure. So, that is the last straw for me. This is not the first time that Walmart has given bad service and I am very tired of this company!

So stop shopping there, you old redneck. Walmart isn't the only retailer in this country.

MattD78

It is not the check out persons' job to ensure you picked everything up. That is your job.

They put the items scanned into a bag. YOUR job then is to pick those bags up.

Can not return within 90-day purchase period

I bought a floor fan from Walmart.com and realized it was quite noisy after 30 days. Since Walmart.com has a general 90-day return policy in the United States, I asked to return for refund.

My request was refused without a clear reason.

I checked Walmart Return Policy website, and there is no specific rule for returning a floor fan, and that is why I believe I should be able to return this fan. The customer service of walmart.com didn't provide any help except asking me to contact with the manufacturer or visit Walmart Return Policy website to figure it out...

Do you think air conditioners are also fans??because i read on my receipt that air conditions can be returned only within 30 days.so i am panicing too.i bought a tower fan and just been lazy to return it..its abit too big for my kids room but now i been reading and not sure if a fan is considered an air conditioner.i wonder if i could still return it.i ahd it almost 2 months ????

Guest

One question about a detail you left out: did you have your receipt? Retailers are not obligated to refund anything without a receipt.

If ordered online, you need to start the order return process from your order history page on Walmart.com site. Did you try that?

I'm in the same situation... well sort of. I bought a 16" pedestal fan online directly from Walmart.com, not a marketplace seller. I'm still within the 90 day return eligibility with 6 days left, but strangely, the order states that it's no longer eligible for return.

I've contacted Walmart.com and await their response. I bought two of these expensive fans. Opened only one to check it out, the other is unopened. Waste of money because they're not being used at all.

I'm worried Walmart.com dishonor their policy.

I've double checked everything. There's no reason it shouldn't be eligible for return.

Can't get them tp replace a bad phone after 3 phones in 5 months

I have had three phones go bad in 5 months, the 1st phone went bad in 2 and one/half month. I threw the phone away after being told that there was no factory warranty in the space of a year. I bought the next phone in Waco Tx. I bought the 2 year replacement warranty for 7 dollars. I then went on a missions trip of 5,000 miles and that phone went bad in CA. So I then bought a phone in Santa Fe Springs , ca. That phone went bad in 1 month. I also bought the 2 year extended warranty for that phone. there is way too much to relate to u but I have phoned corporate office @ least 7 or 8 times with very little , please pray that I receive a new phone . Right you are 46 years old I doubt this based on the fact that you have terrible spelling and grammar. Also could it be they thought you looked old due to *** abuse, come on a 10 year old *** user can look 46. Your behavior must have made them believe you were a big and tall ten year old.

Guest

It is weird that they would ask for id for this, but you SHOULD keep your id with you at all times. What if you had a medical emergency?

They would not be able to identify you without a photo id. It's the safe thing to do.

Guest

you're low for shopping there.

Guest

Why would someone need a license to buy fuel injector cleaner?

Walmart - Rude Sales Associates Review

Just purchased new tires for my car, I have never in my 69 years of living seen such roundness, horrable behavior as demonstrated here today by the sales associates.they think we owe them a living! The only reason I stayed was the savings on the tires. If Sam Walton had seen this, he would turn over in his grave!

Unless they called you an old hag or told you to go *** yourself I doubt they were rude. If you are going to claim someone was rude to you tell us how they were rude to you, or people are going to assume not getting your way is what you mistook for rudeness.

Walmart - Giant Retailer Review from Pueblo West, Colorado

First of all if your looking for customer service why in Gods Green Earth would you go to Walmart. There associates aren't trained to so nothing except slave for the giant retailer not to the fault of the associates, they work there tails off. The company is so top heavy it's not funny. Assistant, co, store, market, compliance and the list goes on and on, all making more money than they deserve while the associates fight over hours and there measly pay. Let's not forget about all the businesses that had to close because of this company. Bottom line, if we the people stop shopping at these large corporate monsters they could not survive. So where does the problem lie, it's time the we the people stand our ground.

And then all the associates would be out of a job so a few mom and pop stores could open. However measley the pat and hours are now, I'm sure its better than NOTHING.

Walmart accepted my payment and refused to give me what i paid for

I went online and got some wedding invitations printed and went to pick them up from the photo center after getting a text saying that they were complete. When i got there they showed me the pictures and explained that they can't give me the pictures because they were for personal use only ( it was, wth!) anyway after arguing that i thought that was personal use i got no where, so went on to try to get my money back, also denied. After calling walmart.com they told me to call the store who told me to call the website again....after about an hour of arguing i finally got my money back....7 days later

Here's my question: we're the pictures you were using professionally taken? If so, I suggest you read up on copyright laws before trying to use them next time.

Guest

I wouldn't trust anyone to do important invitations without first seeing them in-hand and approving the "proof" or sample first...your wedding day is special...you know Walmart is always a few crayons short of a full box...if you know what I mean?

Guest

You got your money back, so what is your major complaint?

Warrenty Service

The warranty we bought from Walmart is Junk. We got a TV screen from them and the screen had damage. We sent it to the warranty company who denied it and stated that the LCD screen is not covered due to damage. Then went to plug the TV after they returned it and now it doesn't work at all. Before when we made the first complaint we had a line on the screen now we get nothing. We took it to the store to talk to the manager and they were unable to do anything. Also initially when we bought the TV we specifically asked does it cover damage. The cashier told us yes. Thinking that just maybe they have trainied their employees on the warranties at least a little we took her word for it. When you buy warranty they only show you the blue and green cover it is given to you and the cashier pointed to us were it saids: For items 150 and above our team of experts will either fix your item and ship it back to you, or repair it in you home. We mistakenly took the cashiers knowledge or lack of knowledge and bought the warranty. Now we are sitting here without a TV. Walmart either needs to train employees on their warranties or tell employees not to give an answer they are unsure of. They could of should us the warranty policy that was conveniently folded inside the cover and said to review it. I didn't even know that part was there until after we bought it.

I would say that if you know how to repair it then you may be better off doing that. Most of the time if you take it to get repaired then it may cost just as much as the TV.

You may be able to sell the TV on EBay or Craigslist for parts or donate it to Goodwill Industries and get a receipt for tax deduction.

Sometimes you're better off reading those warranty pamphlets yourself before buying it and keeping the pamphlet. I would ask a person at a TV repair shop.

Received opened product, missing pieces

I bought a new swing set, it arrived box open, missing setup instruction manual and nuts and bolts. It was Saturday, walmart customer service told me to contact swing manufacturer even though it is walmart's responsibility to have sold me a new unopened product.

Manufacturer was closed. I tried to post a question asking anyone for a soft copy of the manual, it was rejected. I tried to write a review, bad of course, that was rejected too.

Through all of this, no one even apologized for not selling me a proper new product. Why should I have to waste my time chasing after the manufacturer when I should have been sold a proper product.

we live in an age of assembly lines. mass production causes less quality.

walmart doesnt make it.

you could have returned it and got an other one... or do what walmart said and call the manufacturer...
