I took my vehicle in to the auto center to have a simple oil change. The mechanic slammed the hood and broke the hinge.

The Hood will not close. I spoke with the manager Larry and he LIED to my face and told me it was broken before the service was performed. After I had signed the receipt he then wrote on the paper that I had acknowledged the broken hinge. This is very unethical business practice.

I have tried to contact walmart but have not had a response as of yet. I guess I am now responsible for the repairs that Walmart caused to my vehicle.

Product or Service Mentioned: Walmart Oil Change.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $500.

Preferred solution: payment for repairs to my vehicle.

I doubt he broke the hinge shutting the hood. I expect is was just plain worn out or had been damaged in some other manner in the past.

Actually I don’t doubt that. A friend of mine had a battery put in her car and she found the hood bent.

Come to find out Walmart had shut a screwdriver in her hood.

And obviously denied any knowledge of it happening. So I believe this person.
