Saturday had trouble starting vehicle; today would no start at all. Took the battery up to our local Walmart Auto Center without the battery and the associate right away stated "Looks like a battery to me" (hahaha - very funny - not when it is dead).

Informed the associate the battery was dead; associated informed us to go get another battery and when he scanned the old battery said sorry you will have to pay "Full price" well in my head I would think if the battery clearly states "3 YEAR FULL REPLACEMENT" that means at least a 1 year pro-rate or maybe 2 year; but no the associate said it would be full price and didn't even offer a discount when we pointed out that the battery clearly stated a 3yr FREE Replacement.

We decided that between the associate and "that looks like a battery" and having to pay full price on a battery just a little over 3 yrs. we would just keep the old battery and try a more "family business".

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $128.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Walmart Cons: Result of battery warranty nor the associates remarks.

exactly how long ago did you purchase the battery? you dont really say, although you hint when saying, "a little over three years"..

so which is it..

cant proclaim innocense and complain of a company''s policys and warranty compliance if you are trying to get away with something wrong. that is why companies have strict adherence to their policies.

Date on battery was august 2014. Thought they would prorate it. Even checked another walmart little further away, they said bring it to them and they would prorate the battery.
