I went to my local thrift store that helps mentally challenged people and they had a bunch of the old tube televisions there for sale. They were priced quite high at $40 and $50 and one even at $75.

I know that I have read that the Salvation Army doesn't want people dropping them off at their stores because they just have to pay to take them to the dump because nobody wants them at any price. You probably could have just gone and bought yourself a used tube television to watch. Maybe could have gotten one for free if you had placed an advertisement in your local Thrifty Nickel Paper or Newspaper want ads.

They would have just been happy to have you take it away for them. If someone didn't watch it much, even though they are old they could still last you for years to come.

I've just got double charged by Walmart today. The guy asked me to insert the card with the chip into the slot.

Then the machine said it's done and ask me to remove the cart. Then the guy said "oh no it didn't go thru, please insert the card again." So I believed him and inserted the card again. When I got home, I got email messages from my CC bank that it was double charged with the same amount within 1 minute.

It now makes me think twice before going to Walmart again. - Lancaster, PA.

Perhaps if you spoke more clearly the first manager would have been able to help you. If your spoken English is as poor as your written English than the first manager could not understand what you are saying and could not help you.

If you spoke clear English she would be able to do her job right.

The reason she could not do her job right was because she could not understand you. If you spoke proper English you would get better service, because it is hard to help those that do not speak English well.

Walmart contacted me within 24 hours of filing a complaint with the BBB I'm happy to say fraudulent charges were reversed upon submitting affadavit of identity theft and the copy police report I filed on day I became aware of fraudulent charges.

I went in today to return an item and I had a very nice experience with a young woman named Julie. I noticed workers in the area were not doing their jobs, but just standing around and talking to one another. Couldn't they at least help this woman get the long line down that she had? I noticed before she got to me that she was trying to handle the carts on the side by herself, while none of her coworkers were helping her. I was very disappointed to see how lazy your employees are. A lot of the customers were upset waiting in the long line because no one else would step up and help us customers.

If they are not trained to work at the customer service desk then they were unable to help get her line down. There is a big difference in running a front end register and working customer service desk. Before you call people lazy and not doing their jobs, how about educating yourself on what other peoples jobs are first and what they are trained for.

I feel for the people that have to work Thanksgiving. But this is just the straw that broke the camels back. I thought great a new laptop! One I can actually afford on my limited budget. Haven't had a new one since 2005....
