New ReviewerWalmart take your order and your credit card information, and it takes 1 to 3 hours later they text you back saying they have the item, So my question is why do they say they have it in the store or online they don't have the merchandise in stock, then you have to wait for your refund which take 5 days to get you funds put back on the card and maybe call to find out where is your refund and still have to wait.

They go by their inventory numbers, so what's happening is that the system may say they have one of a given item in stock, but it could have been improperly entered and they never had it to begin with, it could have been stolen by a customer or employee, could have been misplaced in the back room, or any number of other possibilities. It's still their fault in a very basic sense, yeah, but unless malicious, human error should be forgiven.
Unless it happens all the damn time, then it's just incompetence. As for how long it takes the money to show back up on your card, you can blame your bank for that just as much as you can Walmart.
That's also pretty much SOP with any online purchase you cancel after you've paid for it. It's stupid, but it's the way that things have been forever now, so not much use in complaining about it besides venting.
