Verified Reviewer |Negative Experiences with Delivery Service
- - Walmart is my favorite for good prices.
- - Two of five online deliveries have problems, including wrong items and substitutions; refunds take 7–10 days.
Walmart is my all-time favorite place to shop, and I honestly don't know if that will ever change because they treat their customers right and their prices are on point. I love Walmart.
However, during the last year, I have ordered from them literally twice a week every single week online from walmart.com and had my stuff either shipped or delivered, and there is always something wrong with my order. There's a problem with two out of five deliveries on average I would say. I've had issues like wrong brands, wrong items altogether, replacing items with generics (without asking), late deliveries, no delivery altogether one time, expired milk, missing items (frequently), and damaged or opened items (popular). It has been a complete nightmare to say the least, and when I call Walmart's Customer Service phone number to speak to a customer service rep, I get absolutely nowhere every single time.
They tell you that they will refund you and that it's not a problem and that it will be issued back to the original method of payment. They do not listen to a word you have to say, and they talk loud and talk over you. Then, they say you won't get your money that you just spent less than an hour ago for seven to ten business days. When they first told me that, I thought for sure I was hearing them wrong or my hearing was off because that just sounded super crazy.
I needed that food that I just bought an hour ago to feed my family. I couldn't wait that long. I thought that was the most absurd, confusing, wild, and completely insane thing that I have ever heard in my entire life, and it makes me upset just thinking about it. The important point I'm trying to explain to you is that it isn't as if this has been a one-time or two-time thing.
It has happened a number of times. Yes, it is simple to reach a customer service rep with the Walmart delivery people, and that is a plus, but the policy that is in place there needs to be changed like ASAP in my opinion. Seven to ten days is insane in my eyes. I'm just so sick of losing my hard-earned money to such a large successful corporation.
I'm hoping to be somewhat reimbursed for all of the issues I have experienced with Walmart delivery people. I've lost quite a bit of money. I have been spending a lot of money there for the last year since I moved to where I live. I think that Walmart should find the decency and the integrity and the professionalism to just do the right thing.
My order history is proof. Please.
- Excellent brand variety
- Sweet tank selection
- Amazing hoops selection
- Customer service policy sucks
- Sometimes food is expired
- Sometimes food pkg is damaged
Preferred solution: I think a couple decent Walmart Gift Cards would be in order to make up for all the items that I didnt get or whatever the case might have been. I'd like to see the delivery people get better trained.
User's recommendation: Make sure all your items are there before the delivery person leaves your home.

Verified Reviewer |Rude manager
- - Front end manager Shane was condescending, patronizing, insulting, and rude.
- - Grocery delivery went to a new neighbor; the address was incorrect.
A complaint has been filed against the front end manager, Shane, at my local store. He was, among other things Condescending, patronizing, insulting and simply rude and offensivealmost as if attacked!
My groceries were delivered to a new neighbor west of me. The pic was not my house. Have been relying on grocery delivery, exclusively for the last six months, because I have been unable to drive! Third part delivery has nothing to do w/WalMart!
Understood, but there is NO functional number to contact said third part delivery company? He began by saying THAT! Then commented that there have been problems thereuhhh in the area.. Ended by saying you wont let me help you!
I replied, I called you for help! He then said all he could do to help was give you the Spark Customer Support number! I ended the call. Neighbor not home!
Cant just go on their property w/out permissionto take the groceries I can see on their porch. I took my gallon of tea and two furnace filters, drove home for the 1st time in months. If my tags werent expired and my car was NOT a 36 year old Crown Victoria, I would have have payed a call to the store, to look Shane in the eye, and introduced myself in person!
I have family down thereI will know precisely who he is and his family history by tomorrow afternoon. Too tired to contact my bunch this evening!
- Convenience of rural delivery
- Third party marketplace
- Third party fulfillment and customer service is awful
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered
User's recommendation: WalMart’s use of third party delivery services should be against company policy!

Statement of Employment Concern
My name is Ricky Johnson, and I was employed by Walmart in 2024 as a team member in the Auto Care Center. During my employment, an allegation of misconduct was made against me by a supervisor, Rosette, which I firmly believe to be false and without merit.
This allegation does not accurately reflect my actions, behavior, or the standard of professionalism I maintained while performing my job duties. I consistently carried out my responsibilities to the best of my ability and adhered to company policies and expectations.
I take pride in my work ethic, reliability, and integrity, and I respectfully dispute the claim that has been made. I am confident that my record demonstrates my commitment to maintaining a professional and respectful work environment.
Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Ricky Johnson, and I was previously employed at Walmart in 2024 in the Auto Care Center. I am writing to formally request information regarding the status of my termination, as well as access to any and all records related to my employment.
Specifically, I am requesting copies of my personnel file, including documentation related to my termination, any reports of alleged misconduct, and any other records maintained during my employment.
I would appreciate your prompt assistance in providing this information. Please let me know if any additional steps or documentation are required to process this request.

Verified ReviewerResolved: Awful customer service
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered. They did a full refund and sent me the Mr.
Brown’s coffee for free. My advice to people you can’t let big corporations like Walmart push you around. You have to be a pitbull. You have to keep calling you have to keep going what help me a lot.
Is that one on X and went to their site I didn’t cuss no crazy talk. One of the things I said to Walmart on X is they don’t mind and the customer doesn’t matter and that hits Home, but I do also have to say that they responded and took care of the problem total refund and sent me the coffee for free.
Walmart has failed at customer service. I've been dealing with them for two weeks over an order of Mr.
Brown's coffee.
The shipper sent me a plant instead of the coffee. I have been on the phone, emailing them, blasting them on social media, and they have done nothing but just avoid and not do a damn thing about the issue.
- Local walmart still better job than the main office
- Customer service is a nightmare failure
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered
User's recommendation: Their customer service is a failure. They have a new motto at Walmart. They don’t mind and the customer doesn’t matter.

- - Bought Walmart battery ~3 months ago; requested warranty.
- - Offered scrap-pile batteries with no stickers; I refused; case 260-427-***-*57.
I purchased a battery from Walmart roughly 3 months ago I brought it in to either be replaced or charged whichever when I came back yesterday before they're closing time they were already closed but I finally got a hold of a manager they brought me a battery outside that was old that they got out of the scrap pile which they told me they got out of the scrap pile with no stickers on it or anything and expected me to take it I refused they told me to come back this morning I came back this morning once again they tried to give me an old battery out of the junk pile with no stickers on it I refuse to them I wanted a new battery they brought another bad battery then got some stickers where they got the stickers from I don't know stuck them on the battery right in front of me and slid the battery across the counter and told me to take it I told him no I want to speak to a manager manager came up told me the same thing she said this battery is good take it I refused I called Walmart's corporate number customer service gentleman told me basically he wouldn't help me he gave me a case number which is 260-427-***-*57 when I asked him his name he said his name was Alex when I asked for his last name he refused to give me his last name basically when it comes down to is Walmart took my battery maybe an employee stole it I don't know try to give me two junk batteries then went and found a battery that would hold a charge and try to stick stickers on it right in front of me and give me another junk battery instead of just replacing mine under the warranty I paid good hard money for that battery and it's warranty I shouldn't be given an old junk battery either scrap power because they lost it or stole it
Preferred solution: Battery replaced
User's recommendation: Don't buy anything from Walmart automotive center and if you have already good luck with returning it or getting your warranty on it and if you do take something in keep an eye on it at all times it's a little switcheroo on you like to try to do with me I wonder how many people that actually check like that

Verified Reviewer |Resolved: We purchased a Visio TV, through Sams...
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. Tried for two days to activate tv, with no luck.
Gave up and returned to Sams club where we had bought the Visio brand. Could get no help from customer service at Wal-Mart. Buy another brand until Wal-Mart cleans up their act. Visio was a good product in the past.
We own a couple of them. But all the activation code did this time was to lock up our phones, and put 89 scammed games on our phones, trying to charge our account $39.00.
When we scan the QR code, we are told we need a Walmart account or need to create an account. We have ordered directly from Walmart in past years, but apparently, have never had to actually set up an account. Anyway, we have tried to create an account numerous times and get the message, 'Unfortunately, we can't create your account.' No reason.
No direction on what to do next! We are ready to ship the TV back and never purchase a Vizio electronic again!
Preferred solution: Help to activate this new Visio TV, but all we get is a run around. We have other Visio TVs in the house, and never had to go through all this nonsense.
Are you all out of your mind? S nobody can get on a phone. Is there not a person that works there, but there are people that will take you d*** money and then send you *** to another state?

Verified ReviewerThis is in regards to my in store experience with Walmart pay
- - Walmart Pay was down at checkout; I couldn't pay for a non-food item.
- - I had no other options and plan to order online for pickup to avoid fees.
I was at the self checkout counter and after paying for my food items with my EBT card I had a non food item I was trying to pay for using the Walmart pay option. I scanned the QR code at the register and after trying multiple times to pay an employee came and told me Walmart pay was down and I had to use a different way to pay.
Unfortunately I had no other payment options because I was trying to use the money on my Walmart Account that I had received from a refund. I had to to leave the item as I could not pay for it .
I'm trying to purchase it online to pick up as I can't afford to pay for a Walmart plus account for delivery nor the $9 something for delivery. I asked my roommate for a ride to do a pickup order instead. I went to pay for it and realized I was going to be charged for this as well or spend at least $35 which I don't have.
I am very frustrated as I do not drive, I don't live near a bus, I recently left an abusive relationship and I had to leave everything including money and credit cards so I am living on little to nothing at the moment.
My question is, because Walmart pay was not working while I was in store trying to pay I'm now having to pay extra for the item I should have been able to get the day I went to the store.
I feel as though Walmart is taking advantage of the fact Walmart pay was down so they can now make us pay for delivery fees, a pickup fee or be required to pay for Walmart plus even though it's not the customers fault Walmart pay was not working.
I'm asking Walmart to waive the pickup fee, delivery fee or provide a free month trial of Walmart plus for this. It is terrible that Walmart is requiring me to pay extra for something I should have been able to buy on the original shopping trip.
I have emailed them so I just hope they respond before the item is sold out.

Hope this helps. Trying to contact their corporate custmer service will not work because their phone numbers sre not active.
I received the same item twice that belongs to someone else. Both deliveries were to 2 different people.
I tried to call Walmart and got no one to answer the phone. So I tried the corporate number listed and none are in service.
I do not know what is going on with them. Someone needs to get fired.

- - He paid for charcoal at customer service, but staff claimed he did not.
- - A $50 gift card was offered during delays in reviewing the video.
Absolutely do not shop at Walmart on Branan Field road in Middleburg Florida. They treat their customers like crap and lie to you. Lisa runs the store and she scammed me.
We were talking as we're walking out the door and I start to hear all this commotion behind me and so I stopped and looked behind me and asked"are you talking to me?" and 1 worker said, "she didn't pay for that charcoal"and then the other worker comes up to me & asked for the receipt and they still acted like I stole the charcoal! So I took my receipt back out of her hand and we went up to customer service and I said, "did I or did I not pay for this charcoal" and The employee working in customer service said, "yes you paid for the charcoal" so I asked to speak to the manager. the manager said, "well I'm not going to reprimand my employees for doing their job" so I called corporate and made a complaint. Lisa who is now running the store in Middleburg Florida off of Branon Field Rd contacts me and she said that they're going to watch the video of the interaction.
Time goes by and it's been a couple weeks and I keep calling to see what's going on, had they had time to look at the video and they still hadn't looked at it. So Lisa then calls me again and says hey I want to give you a gift card for now because we still haven't had the opportunity to watch the video. I said that's fine only if it's not going to complicate things or null and void my complaint with your Walmart, and she said no ma'am it's not going to have any effect on that.I just feel bad because we haven't had the opportunity to watch the video yet. I went up there she gave me a $50 gift card.
After a week went by I called to check had they watch the video. I was told that due to the fact that I got a gift card my claim was null and void. Lisa lied straight to my face because I had asked her again, when I got to Walmart, this isn't going to affect My complaint against this Walmart is it? She looked me right my eyes and said, "no ma'am it's not, this is just because we haven't had a chance to watch the video yet.
I feel like the Walmart on Branon Field road in Middleburg Florida has some of the rudest employees and they act like we are inconveniencing them when we ask them where an item is at.
But it's not over yet. I'm still looking into getting a lawyer and going after Lisa personally and Walmart.
User's recommendation: Avoid the Walmart on Branan Field road in Middleburg Florida

- - Bought Best Way King Mattress at Walmart San Diego; exchanges only.
- - Mattress stopped holding air; in-store vs online exchange policy unclear.
I purchased a Best Way King mattress on 2/26/2026 at the Shawline St Walmart in San Diego. I know you are unable to return the item but can make an exchange.
The bed stopped holding air yesterday. I went to 3 different Walmarts to find the item. At the 3rd Walmart (College Ave), they still did not have the item in stock. However, I could order it online and it would be delivered by 4:00 today.
The manager, Freddy, said you couldn't exchange an item purchased in the store with one ordered online and that I could contact the manufacturer. I live in the state of North Carolina and am only here to settle my mother-in-law's estate. We were using the mattress because the bedroom furniture had already been donated. He said I could take it home and contact the manufacturer.
I again explained that I understood there can't be a refund, but I can't take the air mattress on the airplane with me. While it is folded, it doesn't fit back in the box the way it came. I even offered to make the purchase online right in front of him so he could see I really wanted to exchange the mattress, as we do not have a bed to sleep on for the next couple of weeks that we will be here. He said again that anything purchased in the store and online is different.
He told me I could leave the store since they were unable to refund the mattress. I then asked him to call the manager. He said he was, but his badge said Crew Leader, not manager. I told him I wanted to speak with his supervisor.
He then got on the radio and called security and told them I refused to leave and to remove me from the store. I asked him and the security guard when the manager would be back; they both said, 'Maybe tomorrow or the next day,' they didn't know when. I know the refund policy, but do not understand why I couldn't order it offline and have it delivered to the store. It said I could get it by 4:00 pm.
I am being penalized because it is not my fault that your stores did not have what I purchased on the shelves.
I offered a solution on how I could make an exchange. This is the worst customer service I have ever received.
- Very poor customer service
Preferred solution: I wanted to exchange a King Air Mattress. I went to 3 different stores & they didn't have it.

Verified ReviewerOrdered belt and tried it on -- and now it won't come off! Customer Service now has an AI system operating that prevents customer from speaking with a human being!!!
- - Order No. 200014*-***24242 from Walmart; belt fits.
- - Cannot remove belt; urgent help needed.
I ordered a Flanmy belt in Order No. 200014*-***24242 from Walmart on 12/15/2025.
The belt is a good fit, but I am not finding a way to take it off now. HELP IS URGENTLY NEEDED!!!
Walmart sells many items; most of the time, there is no problem, but this one is not something a human being could use; imagine being sentenced to remain in clothing because how to get out of a belt is a jealously-guarded secret. I would have faxed Walmart for help, but they must have changed the number or are hiding from the public.
User's recommendation: Perhaps an Operations Manual is needed for the belt!

- - Longtime Walmart shopper faced online issues buying a D cell tester.
- - AI and later staff couldn't resolve it; in-store help said nothing could be done.
When trying to explain, " other" this site only allowed 500 characters making me rewrite an explanation 3 times. I was contacted by a Walmart rep after they were informed that Consumer Protection was involved.
After several emails back and forth trying multiple times to address the problem, I was told the issue was resolved after doing a few things. As a courtesy and dealing with the issue for a couple of weeks I was given a gift card to use on my next purchase. Dear Editor, Like thousands of 100% disabled veterans on a VA compensation, I can't afford to spend money in high-priced stores, so I shop at Walmart. I've been shopping at our local store for some thirty years, but as of late, trying to do business with them is worse than having a root canal. I tried to find a simple D cell plus battery tester at the store, so when I couldn't find one there, I was told to go online where I've had an account for several years. Over a period of a week, I made numerous attempts to buy said tester only to be blocked with irritating protocols unlike the old access I had. When I went to check out, a prompt came up asking for my phone number or text. When I put in my phone number, it said it was already in use to try another. When I tried to text, I got the same response. I made numerous attempts, waiting between days thinking there was a glitch with no results. I contacted Customer Service asking for a human to speak to, but ended up talking to an A.I. with a female voice. The A.I., however, was very sweet to say the least, being very patient with my stressful heavy breathing as I spent the better part of an hour going through a litany of attempts to fix the problem only to be sent to a human. I spent close to another hour trying to get the issue resolved with a guy named Muneeb in the tech department who at the end told me he couldn't fix it and that he would contact someone else immediately and email me; that was 5 days ago. I tried logging on once more with no results, so a friend suggested going to the store and ordering the testers there at Customer Service. I told the girl at the counter what I had gone through all week and was told I couldn't order it there. I said that was a bad way to do business, so she left the counter to ask someone for help. She walked by me saying, 'We can't do anything,' leaving me hanging with no recourse.

Quit begging for gift cards. If 2 of 5 orders, 40%, the past year (2/wk x 52 wks) have issues, that’s 40 orders (out of 104). You didn’t cause the issue, but you stayed and tied up your money 40 times and created your own chaos.
