Bought a toy for my son and he didn't open it for about three months due to summer vacation travel, on return home he opened and found some pieces of the toy missing. The receipt was with the box and the box opened by tearing into pieces.
Went to South Tryon Walmart to return with the receipt, refused to take it back because without box. First of all Associate was rude and an Assistant Manager came when asked for, she was more rude than associate can call her ill mannered. Spoke to Joe Store Manager and he seconded the decision of his staff. They say receipt will not show what the product is that why they need the box, which is not true receipt have product description and item code.
Will never shop at Walmart again as there are other retailers competing Walmart with better service.
I stopped Sams membership due to worst customer service experience. Looks like Walmart will soon have fall from rise as K-Mart.
