Store on battlefield Blvd in Chesapeake, va. Has the worst customer pickup service I have ever seen. They only had one person working the line and the pickup tie looked to be about 45 mind to an hour. What is the purpose of ordering online. Associates need to be retrained. Can’t blame it on them. I blame management.

My friend Joe who looked just like Kenny Rogers before he changed his face bought a television and he proudly boasted that he bought the 3 year extended warranty that said that if you dropped the television and it broke that they would give you another one. I thought that he got Gyped because he paid alot of money for that extended warranty that he probably never was able to collect on, because usually televisions are problem free for the first 3 years anyway. Joe was poor living on a Nut-Check every month and he really would have been better off using that money for something else.

If it's worth it to you, you'll have them investigate for the 1-2 weeks, might be better than nothing. There are worse things that could happen, believe me this is small beans compared to what others are dealing with.

Walmart on Riggs Road, NE, Worst Customer Service people!

I just had the worst experience at the new location on Riggs Road, NE, Washington DC store. I waited at customer service to return items for more than an hour! The "supervisor" had the "key" and kept leaving, no one had the decency to page him, they had me there standing and wait until he came back, whenever he decided to come back. They could not do a simple return!! I had printed out my return receipt to make their and my experience easier and even by me being prepared they were not! No one apologized, I had to stand there look at them talk about other customers, curse, make faces, and I finally broke down and cried. It was the most humiliating experience of my life!

Walmart Check Cashing Review

I just wasted my time and gas going to walmart to cash a check that I just received for entering stuff into the fair for them to turn me down. The name on my check is my "jackie" it's short for Jacqueline but apparently it has to say Jacqueline. That's ridiculous, I could understand if the nickname was way off of my real name but it isn't. Walmart - Prescription Refill Review from Washington, District Of Columbia

Since I have to drive 55 miles round trip to Walmart every month, I call in every month to make sure RX's are one hand AND available AND that my insurance company will ok my 12 RX's. Upon going there 4/2015 to pick them up after calling 4 hours before. I go into the store only to be told by the same person I talked to in the morning that it was too early to get my RX's. I was told I needed to come back 4 days later. I did so and picked up 11 RX's with them trying to charge me for the 12th Rx. I questioned the charge and then magically there was no charge on that. I was also charged 20 times the cost of one syringe. I called store manager, Navid mirheli, the following week about all the confusion shown. His response was to hang up on me. Very poor customer service! I am pulling my $18000 annually RX's from Walmart due to their slopjar operation. James Payne

I know this post is old but I just read... I am dealing with a similiar situation. I ordered my son a Xbox on Cyber Monday... I called to check the tracking on Friday Dec 5th because that was supposed to be the arrival date.. it was not there. I called the 1800walmart to see what I could do... the sales associate cancelled my order. I called back and told her I did not want to cancel and asked why there was a pending credit on my bank account... she charged the account again and put in a "replacement order"... I called back following Monday and the replacement order was cancelled... I never got the xbox and after days on the phone with Walmart AND my bank still no refund! I guess the bank has to do an investigation but boy oh boy ... to take over $300 out of my bank account with no product... such a disappointment. Walmart.com and 1800walmart Horrible.Service.. never again will I order with the.option to pick up at store. They.will say it is.in stock and then you go to pick up and it is on Back Order.

Walmart Black Friday Sale

I live in Washington DC and shop every year Black Friday in New Burgh New York. This is an annual tradition my sisters and I share while home for Thanksgiving. I waited on a line for hours to purchase 4 Televisions, 2 40 inches and 2 50 inches. While at the store I checked the brand via sales personnel and store management. Previous year I purchased 2 element televisions and they were total garbage. I donated them to goodwill a week after purchase...So this year I was careful to check the brand. I left the store with three emersons with a slip to pick up the fourth one in my home state. I didn't worry because I believed the guarantee. I received an email seven days before Christmas to pick up the television, Great considering it was for my teenage son for Christmas. I arrive at the store and was handed an element Television...I became very angry and was told the brand varies from store to store. I didn't feel that applied to me because element was not the offered brand at the time of purchase. Five days before christmas walmart told me I either take the TV or wait for them to get a emerson which would not be until after Christmas or except a gift catd ib the amount of the television. Well thank you Walmart for ruining my sons christmas....I'm to take whatever you give me or I'm welcome to buy something else at your store. They refuse to take it back and refund my credit card not to mention the hours I waited on line. Walmart got me again....THIS WAS INDEED THE LAST TIME Walmart will see any of my hard earned money

The ad plainly stated that the TV brands varied from store to store.Why would you think that didn't apply to you??? The stores are sent a specific brand TV for the in store sale and the one hour guarantee which you received while there.

However, your hometown store were sent the Element TVs. You don't get to pick and choose the brand. Did you read the ad??? Walmart didn't ruin your sons Christmas, didn't you buy 3 more TVs?

The TVs were $115-$118 for a 50 inch and you still complain because its not the brand you want? You sound very greedy and selfish. Who really needs 4 TVs?

I'm sure someone who needed one and couldn't afford to pay a high price would have loved to purchase one, whether it had been an Emerson or an Element.Next time read the ad, if it says the brand varies from store to store that means YOU ARE NOT GUARANTEED any specific brand. Get over it and stop acting childish.

I have gone shopping at the Walmart in Pahrump Nevada several times and each time I have felt sorry for the staff. The store has waiting lines to check out and and 5 or more stations are closed. The check out stands that are open the employees are working as fast as they can to process the shopper. What is really sad that if you ask management to open more check out stands the say they haven't got enough checkers to open more stations. The first rule in management is solve the problem. This walmart has the enough staff working in the store to redeploy them to help out at the check stands even if they are bagging items. It has gotten so bad that most shoppers go to automotive to check out. I was getting my oil changed in my car and waited 20 minutes to pay because shoppers go there to check out now. I don't buy groceries at Pahrump Walmart because of the wait time at the check stands. Now it looks like I won't be getting my oil changed there any more. I have addressed this problem several times with management there but they just don't get it. If I had more than 100 words I write about how long it takes to order a product they are out of. FRUSTRATED.

Store management "gets it". They just have no control over it.

Not everyone in the store can work a cash register, some are at lower pay grades and can simply refuse to do so, some don't trust themselves with handling money as quickly as some customers demand, some simply can't handle money at all.

Now, to keep prices as low as they can they use computerized systems to meter out how much payroll should be needed to cover "expected" demand, hour by hour, and department by department. Store managers have very little say about the matter, the computer says the store needs 3 cashiers - and that's exactly what will be scheduled in the building at that moment.

If you want to pay 10-15% more for your products, as you would in most other establishments, then there would likely be all the cashiers you'd want. Lots of people all over the store, waiting to answer your every whim. But, Walmart has always been perfectly transparent with their customers.

Their deal with the World is "low prices".

As you seem to continue to shop there, it would seem your own prioritys is in agreement with Walmart's. So, seeing how you, yourself, are unwilling to pay for extra cashiers, I'm not sure why you're complaining.

I work at walmart and the csm's frustrate me. They will yell at you to go faster but they won't get on a register themselves to help.
