Walmart - I have been waiting for a long time for my refund

Junior ReviewerI have called Walmart starting December 10 the day that my package was marked delivered, when I called Walmart the first customer service representative had told me that my package had been signed by someone with the initials J and last name was Doe , when I was talking to the Customer Service representative I kind of thought the name was really weird because the only person with that name is someone that the police is fine. That is deceased, I then went and asked my property manager if anyone by that name lived here she told me no I explained to her what it happened, so I called Walmart back and talked to another agent the very next day she had told me to get a hold of FedEx which I did.
FedEx had told me they were gonna look in for me and find out what it happened. I think two days later I received an text message back from FedEx asking him if I had received my package I told them no that I have received another text message from FedEx asking me if I have found my package again. I told them no the third time FedEx asked me to contact the sender at that time. I contacted Walmart back and tell Walmart that FedEx did not know what was going on.
Walmart told me that there was gonna go ahead and try again to put another refund in for me, but there was already one in and that I had to wait and they were gonna escalate it to the back office and then it would take 24 to 48 hours and then I would receive a email which never happened. I called after the 24 hours to ask Walmart what was going on with the refund process that I was given another story that my refund was processed and it was gonna go through so I was told to wait so I waited no refund so I caught it again. This time I talked to a different customer service representative who told me no the refund did not get approved at that sign that it was still pending so he told me to be patient and weights, so I called again and I got a different agent who told me something totally different. He said he was gonna send it to the back office and have it escalated again to try to make it go faster so he came back on the line and told me that I just had to wait again that I would get an email like everyone kept telling me I would receive an email.
I never received an email so then I called it again. We saw a different story that yes I got the refund was approved and then I would get the money yesterday. Did not get my refund money back so I called Walmart today. The gentleman I just talked to today told me that he went to the escalation department and they told him they don’t even know what I’m talking about.
They don’t know what product I am asking for a refund for which is untrue because I have been calling Walmart regularly and telling them what the refund was and even knew what the refund amount was For, so I told the gentleman that I was gonna go and get companies involved because I’m tired of this because I feel like they’re taking my money and they’re taking advantage of me. This has been going on since December 2 that I place this order and here it is December 27 and I still do not have my order that I ordered for Christmas for a Christmas present nor do I have my money back. This is totally unacceptable that I have been a Walmart plus member for over seven years and I am still dealing with this and then the gentleman hung up on me acting like he didn’t even care and did not want to even hear about it. He said I have to wait 48 to 72 hours before I will get a email from Walmart explaining if I am approved for my refund back from the item that was stolen because of what the FedEx driver did then he also said before he even hung up on me to go to my bank and have my bank put in a dispute for the amount which I already told him I’d be a while ago, but I have to wait till March now in order for my Bank to finish for the dispute, which is crazy so now I have to wait for my Bank to finish doing this dispute for me which could take up to March and now I got Walmart playing games acting like they don’t know what I’ve been calling for and it’s like I don’t know what to do right now.
It’s just crazy and I don’t like the way Walmart is playing with my money. I didn’t receive it. They got proof from FedEx. They know somebody else signed for it.
They know I’m talking about and now it was sudden they wanna act like they don’t know what I was asking for because the Customer Service representatives are the ones that have been putting in the refund request so I know that they put down what the item was that I’ve been missing that was stolen from me so obviously the escalation or whatever they call it knows what was stolen from me so all of a sudden now they want to tell the Customer Service rep that they don’t know because they supposedly sent me an email but I never received it so obviously I don’t know what’s going on. It’s crazy Walmart‘s playing games and I’m just furious right now that I’ve been without my money and without a Christmas gift since December 2 and I’m feel like Walmart is a joke right now that they don’t care and I don’t know where else to turn and I’m tired.
I placed any order on Dec 2nd with Walmart it was supposed to be delivered on Dec 10th through FedEx which the FedEx driver was supposed to get my signature on the package but the delivery driver let someone else sign for it, the person doesnt even live here, so I contacted Walmart on Dec 10th about the issue and have been contacted them even since about this problem now Walmart is saying that they dont know what I was talking about, I am on a fixed income, they told me different things each time I called about my refund, now I have to wait for another 48 to 78 hours to hear back from Walmart again if I will get my refund back from my stolen item, and if Im approved for my refund then I have to wait 10 days for the refund to get back to my original payment, I have been a Walmart customer for 7 years.
User's recommendation: Walmart is a joke, make sure you continue to call and check on your refund because Walmart does not care about your refund status. I had to call pretty much every day and today I call and they act like they don’t know what I was calling for my refund has been in for a missing item because of what FedEx had done. Make sure you’re calling Walmart and make sure when you call Walmart take down names of the person and make sure you take notes of everything that said to you.
Monetary Loss: $84.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Walmart Pros: Clean store, Clean bathrooms, Big stores.
Walmart Cons: Dont listen, Dont care about my health, Inconsiderate, Rude customer service, Rude cashiers.
