Recently I purchased medicine for $76 that could have been bought for $20 at a competitor. After 5 calls to Walmart, an older lady with a short fuse called me and refused to price match.

This person also called my pharmacy manager and told him to not price match. Good news, Her boss overruled her and I got the refund. This old lady hasn't been told that a good customer is right, even when they are wrong. Her boss knows this is correct.

Good job boss.

Purchasing at Walmart is convenient but it is impossible to hire good employees all the time. All customers should watch their purchases and make sure they are treated right.

JUST THE COMMENTS FROM THIS COMPLAINT SHOWS WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS COUNTRY. MOST OF THE EMPLOYEES AT WAL MART ARE O.K. THEY WILL MATCH OR BEAT PRICES IF A FEW BAD EMPLOYEES, LIKE THIS OLD LADY JUST GETS OUT OF THE WAY.

I just learned that my elderly mom paid $400 at Walmart for the EXACT same prescription she is now getting at Kmart Pharmacy for $67!!!!!!!

It is in their policy that they do not price match medicine, alcohol, or tobacco.

This old lady hasn't been told that a good customer is right, even when they are wrong.

And this is the problem in this country, this entitled attitude that I am right even if the policy is staring me right in the face. Get over yourself.

A customer is not right when they are in the wrong, that saying is outdated a long time ago when people like you try to use that phrase to scam people. If it was for $20 at another store why not go there? Do you need permission from mommy or daddy to shop elsewhere?

@kevin richards

yes, thank you.

speaking as someone with a lot of experience in retail anyone that uses a variation of 'the customer is always right' is either a tool or a scammer, or possibly both at once!
