Management enforces rules and discipline when it's favorable to them. They even help protect, and show favoritism to, employees who break more serious rules.

No point in having ethical principles if they are not going to be enforced fairly from bottom to top. Walmart itself will suffer the consequences of its own pitiful decisions, because any rule violators who remain with the business will eventually show their true colors and lack of character.

"Respect for the individual" not only applies to associates, but also to all of management. Rule violators are not "respecting the individual."

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Mall cop on the lose and he is taking names. Disregard the ugly comment made by the very unhappy loser. You have a great point.

Yep most Walmart managers won't even help their associates even when most of them call in sick no matter what department it is.

How do you know the rule violators are not being disciplined? They are not going to discipline them in front of you.

Besides most of the workers are disabled or teenagers who don't know any better. They will be given second chances.
