i pointed to the locked case and said give me 2 boxes of the Winchester 270 . the clerk opened the case grabbed 2 waved them past the bar code scanner and put in a bag.

I gave my credit card and was on my way. got home and saw that i received one 270 and one 30-06, same size and color box. went back to the store and being told by the customer service clerk to go back and get the correct product, went back to the customer service counter, where i had to wait 35 minutes for a store manager. he shows and says no refunds or exchanges.

when i explained the above that i never touched or reviewed the product before it went in the bag, he replied "don't know what to tell you" and walked away. it is now over 3 weeks and 10+ calls to their 800 number later, i have yet to receive a call back. On call #10 supposedly i was transferred to a district manager, the phone rang more than 20 times and went to their auto survey.

So today starting with this website, i am going to start a letter writing campaign. they have lousy customer service, and even worse follow through on the 800 number.

You need to take that up with homeland security not wal-mart, they would be breaking the law if they refunded it.
