The 10.00 gift card is a poor substitute for $200.00 off TV's that I had in my cart and paid for with a credit card and charge was applied to credit card and email confirmation was received by me, from Walmart of acceptance of purchase.

I believe that if that is the best you can do in this situation and you are hurting that bad, you need to keep the 10.00.

I understand that these are out of stock now, but when I was ordering at 8, it showed to be in stock and I have been to the store since and this is a regular stock item that will come back in stock according to store personnel and I do not mind waiting on the product to come back in stock, if it was an item that was not going to come back in stock that would be a different case and I would have no choice in the matter because you can't sell something you are never going to receive. If I had known in advance that your "in stock" at that store was in correct, there were 2 other stores that were showing them in stock that were not to far away that I could have ordered from them instead. The store that was the closest to me showed out of stock so I chose the 2nd closest to order from that was the Waxahachie store.

To reiterate again, I do not mind waiting for the items to come in.

I had a call from the store this morning and she told me this was not available online and she was going to cancel my order, I explained that it was available online and she was going to check on it, then she called back again and said they were out even though it showed still available, I asked if they would get more and she said they would, and I said I did not mind waiting. She said she would check with manager and get back with me. I have not heard back and I received an email canceling the order. I ordered this after checking a couple of store locations close by to see which one had them available and it showed the store she called from, what gives, why was it showing available there? I would have ordered from another location if I had known they were out. This does not seem fair especially since you will get more in.

I just had a similar situation, I bought something online it was out of stock (but it showed up as in stock) and now I have to hassle with them to get my money back because they want to hold it for ten days.I spoke with my bank they said they would release my funds as soon as the receive an authorization letter from walmart, but that takes them 24 hours to walk up a few steps in the same building and have the person in the financial department send a fax to my bank.

I deal with retail every day and if a customer wants his money refunded back to his card I can do it for them instantly, now if this is one of the biggest retail chains across the nation why can't they do the same?especially after it there fault.

Even Target screwed her over.

It was a system error.It happens.

It doesn't mean you are entitled to anything. They even offered you a $10 which is more than they had to do. You are just expecting something for nothing.

Judging by the fit you threw, I would guess they don't want to keep you as a customer.

I wouldn't either.Go bother Target with your tantrums.
