Purchased an air hockey game for grandkids. Returned it because it became a duplicate Christmas gift. Rough figures: Cost $56.00, returned, unopened, charged $12 for re-stocking fee, $20 for shipping back to sub-merchandiser, and got $24.00 credit! Hope they go the same way K-Mart, Grants and Sears went!

Amazon, on the other hand, ships to door, picks up returns at door, doesn't charge a restocking fee. And have more to choose from with great customer reviews.

I'm through with Walmart! Contacted chat line about this and they closed the chat! What customer service?

You need to look at return policies BEFORE you make a purchase. A lot of on line retailers including Amazon offer items from 3rd parties.

The return policies on these items may be different that the orders fulfilled by the retailer. That is why you are being charged re-stocking and shipping charges on the item you purchased.
