Purchased an air hockey game for grandkids. Returned it because it became a duplicate Christmas gift. Rough figures: Cost $56.00, returned, unopened, charged $12 for re-stocking fee, $20 for shipping back to sub-merchandiser, and got $24.00 credit! Hope they go the same way K-Mart, Grants and Sears went!
Amazon, on the other hand, ships to door, picks up returns at door, doesn't charge a restocking fee. And have more to choose from with great customer reviews.
