Last week I received an email from walmart, saying that there is a price drop (new price is 20 dollars) for an item that i saved in my online cart. It was 40 dollars previously.

But when i checked online it was still 40 dollars. So I called the customer care, and he told that he will issue a gift card for $20, if I order that for 40 (price matching). I ordered the item and i didn't receive the gift card yet. I called the customer care again when i received the item.

Then they said they cannot send the gift card.

They said they do not have any recording of the previous call.

Its cheating!

How do they know you did lie yourself and you are not the one cheating? It is your word against theirs.

It is not cheating because you are not entitled to anything.

If the item was $40 when you ordered and it dropped afterwards they don't owe you a thing so it is not cheating. Check with mom or dad before accusing someone of cheating.
