Is anyone else seeing long delays for Walmart refunds lately?

I’ve been trying to get a refund from Walmart for almost four months. My husband ordered a couch that was delivered incorrectly. Every time I call, I spend over an hour talking to representatives who either provide me with incorrect information or promise me things that don’t come true (ex I will get a confirmation email with my refund in 48 hours). We are gearing up to file a state complaint because this is absolutely insane.

Walmart used to use Synchrony bank for all their credit card purchases. Just like Amazon. I quit using Amazon because of the horrible customer service and Walmart has stopped using Synchrony bank to handle the credit card transactions and are now using Capital One so I switched from Amazon to Walmart.com and have since never had any issues with refunds as I use Capital One credit card for my purchases at Walmart. Capital One is a lot easier to get refunds from than Synchrony.

You only mention that you purchased them and still have not received a refund. You need to send them back to get a refund. I’m assuming you didn’t want it and sent it back for a refund and have not received your refund in a few months?

I have major issues with spark andwLmart. I was deliver 3 of the 4 items I ordered. The spark driver was gpi g to leave me with 3 and one less and never tell me I refused the order . She told me she couldnt. Then I wanted her to t as ke a pic of the 3 items she delivered aand refused. I said cant you cout the deference between 3 and 4 then blamed me. But I did find out the last order she delivered was missing 6 item and stated they were diverec. She left 6 of the 12 on her car. I stead of bringing them back to walmart not notified they were returned. I had to go to walmart each time. How can you prove wh er n the driver liex. It took 2 calls tp get my refund. Because the spark driver er is too lazy to do her job and refused to confirm the quantity. And it continues to happen. I keep having to work tp get.my money. Walmart sits on its hands and let it happen. They should have to prove the order arrive with the correct as mount and have to sign for it. I'm about to give up on walmart. They disrespect the customers

I get there are pros and cons when dealing with Walmart. I had serious issues with them trying to buy some items. It wouldn't let me check out saying I needed to do things I had done several times over. I even ended up going back and forth with an A.I. representative who couldn't fix the problem. I corresponded with a real person after that debacle and finally saw where I could check out but haven't bothered to use them again. As for being reimbursed, I had to wait until I got my bank statement after returning some batteries that were wrong for my nail gun. The ordering page showed the right ones but I was sent the wrong batteries. Had to bring them back to the store and get the money put back on my charge card. Not very good to say the least.

It has never taken over 48 hours to get my refund back into the bank.

One way to battle this issue is not buying from third party sellers. I have been bitten more than once.

I stopped going to Walmart and uninstalled Walmart app cancelled my bank account also.

Walmart will get you every chance they get. And the agents and managers will lie their butts off and tell you they have issued a refund when they have not. It's insane the way they lie. Documents everything! And if your don't get email when they tell you they refund you then their lying. Especially the manager Mahammad. They sure the most dishonest people I've ever had to deal with. I'm missing something out of almost every order. Watch them always

Walmart is terrible I keep calling them until they release my funds. It’s not the bank. Walmarts delivery has gotten terrible..don’t let me start laugh out loud
