After shopping at your Wal-Mart store I went ot Subway since they are connected in some way. Well I ordered a sub for myself.
My daugher was not that hungry but she wanted a brownie. On her way to the table she dropped the brownie on the floor. I went to explain this to the manager and he replaced the brownie. Then he later came to my table and asked me to pick up the brownie that my daughter dropped.
I told him that that was not my job and that he should pick it up himself. He picked it up and rolled his eyes at me. I am a registered nurse and if a patient makes a mess I have to clean up after them because it is my job. I expect the same for him.
Then as I was leaving the door I left the wrappers on the table. He was making a comment about how rude it was. My daughter went to apologize and pick up her brownie container and I told her to get back here and leave it on the table. I told her that she did nothing wrong and does not need to apologize and that it is not her job to throw it out because the people at Subway get PAID to do that.
She asked why me why the man was angry and I explained that he was rude and lazy and did not like his job because he does not make as much money as I do. (I am a registred nurse that makes 80k a year.) I explained that he was unhappy with his life and took it out on others.
Since this subway is part of your store I feel that for the inconvience that this has caused me I should have gotton a $25 Wal-Mart gift card as I have gotton before when I was treated badly. This is not the first time this manager was rude to my daughter. He was rude another time when she dropped a donut and the frosting fell on the floor.
He asked me to clean it up and I told him to do it himself because he is PAID To do this. Also you should have a talk with the Subway people because the manager's attitude drives away customers. Perhaps you can close down this particular location, end your partnerhip contract and teach this lazy *** a lesson. Infact until this Subway is closed down I will no longer be shopping at your store unless if it is with the gift card.
Even then I will not be spending any more money than the two $25 gift cards that you now owe me for the inconvience that I experienced on your location. It is not about the money.
I am a resistered nurse and can well afford my meals it's about principle and good customer service.
