My wife and our three children were just doing our WEEKLY shopping at the Ambassador Caffery Walmart in Lafayette. She was having a hard time getting the new credit card scanner to work in the self check out lane while trying to keep our 1 1/2 yr old son from running off, which is a juggling act in itself, and wasn't able to get any actual assistance from the person at the checkout station, just blank stares and replies like "you just stick it in the thing ma'am".

It wasn't until she said can you literally walk over here and help me. Needless to say my wife came home seriously stressed out and enraged on Mother's Day. We spend at least $200 weekly at this store and get nothing but half eyelid stares and looks that say "we don't want you here".

The point where piece of mind out way the savings is creeping up quickly.

It is your job to control your kids. It is also your job to read the screen and do what it tells you.

If you can not figure out how to use the credit card machine, you should probably not use the self checkout. AS for being stressed on Mother's Day, how stressed do you think all those mother's who actually had to work and were not as lucky as your wife was to have the day off felt?

Apparently you and your wife aren't smart enough to know that a 18 month old kid belongs in that special part of the shopping cart made for kids to ride in. Also what exactly were you doing, just standing there lolly-gogging around instead of helping control the little monster.
