The cashiers will scan and place your items into bags as always, but will no longer place the bags into your cart. And there are only three registers open while there are about ten self-check registers available.
The push is on to get the customers to check themselves out (scan, bag, load and pay without a cashier) while eliminating more employees and requiring more of the customer.
Apparently, the Waltons not only want to (1) pay their employees terribly low wages, (2) have a minimal amount of employees, and (3) offer their customers as few courtesies as possible. Profit and greed continue to come first.
