I bought a vacuum from walmart.com since the store did not have it in stock. In the fourth month the vacuum broke.

i took it to the local Walmart to exchange it for a new one and was told "when you buy from walmart.com you only have a three month return policy. I checked my papers from walmart.com and nowhere does it state a three month return policy but it does if you click on returns on the site.

Who does that? You would assume the return policy would be the same as it is at a Walmart store.

I will NEVER buy from that site again.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.

Monetary Loss: $75.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

When has walmart every had a four month refund or exchange policy? 90 days, three months is the norm.

This is what a manufacturer's warranty is for. A store cannot allow you to return or exchange an item indefinitely.

Three months is actually very generous in the retail world. If you have a problem with the vacuum take it up with the manufacturer since it's their problem now.

It is the same. It is only three months in store as well.
